✨ Mon ✨ What’s the most unusual thing you’ve ever eaten?

a couple of years ago i bought my friend a joke ‘im a celebrity get me out of here’ food trial gift which contained lots of food with insects in it. we ended up doing our own mini food trial with a couple of other friends and i ended up eating a cricket. i think there’s a video on youtube of it...

first of all, happy stars wars day everyone! (i say even though I've never watched any of the movies)

Did a full 180, crazy

I don't know where to begin.. perhaps the beginning of the day is more apt. I got to wake up late and catch up with my lost sleep, be lazy since my classes were cancelled, and even go on a long walk. It was very sunny (did not switch on the light for picture) unlike the gloomy week so far and I read/ took notes as I basked and fawned over my new plant child. I now have 2 desk plant - a cactus and a Devil’s ivy/ money plant ( Epipremnums sp).

A little later, I decided to scroll down into oblivion when I realized that I couldn't log in to my studygram - where I posted about most of college. It was a fun place .Long story short, it is a closed chapter. So I decided to move on to a new chapter and began gradschoollog as a new facet

I managed to finish a little more of my image analysis but fell asleep midway at 2am before I decided to go to bed. I’ll try to get it finished on my way in the car, if I can manage to. I’m being asked to go to family thing 10 hours away and I have no way out.

I just finished my first semester of my junior year of college.

I’ve changed my major and my career aspirations millions of times since starting college. From biochemistry and wanting to be a doctor, to consumer economics and wanting to be a lawyer.

My first semester at college, I made a 3.0. I wasn’t particularly pleased, but I couldn’t be upset either. The next semester, was undoubtedly the most toxic period in my college career, concerning my behavior and my academic performance.

It was my lowest and I constantly felt completely lost and hopeless and doomed. I had a 2.13 GPA that semester.

Until, today, the highest GPA I had at college was the one I had my first semester.

This semester, I took a full load of five classes. I made a 3.86. Four As and a B+. I don’t think I had made a single A, until this semester. The first time I ever made Dean’s List.

I have never been more proud of myself for never, ever giving up and never, ever forgetting what I’m capable of.

I loved learning again this semester, myself too.

It took me a whole year to get to this point, trial and error, of remembering who I was. I went to academic counseling, three times a week, every week, desperate to figure out what was wrong. A whole year where I wanted to give up every single day.

Please never forget what you are capable of. Never forget your dreams. Never forget your love of learning.
