25th of december,
marry christmas to those who celebrate today! and for those who don’t I hope you have a great day overall :) I personally do not celebrate christmas on this date, but I love you the holidays and I can’t wait for new year’s!
IM BACK AT SCHOOL!!!! and it's fucking beautiful, infact that part of the city is completely full old gothic architecture and it almost makes me cry everytime I look at it.
Update from me! I’ve been busy on the upper GI surgery placement at the hospital, I’ve gotten more comfortable taking comprehensive histories from patients and practising my examination skills. I changed my wallpaper today to signify a change in myself. My driving theory exam is in 17 days and I’m so nervous but trying to study for it and pass on the first go! Very exciting. Also, all the checks are done and I have booked my first shift for my HCA job, I really think it’ll facilitate my learning as well as money! 💗
I’m trying to become the best version of me.

First of all, happy new year to everyone! I’m sorry I haven’t posted for the past few weeks, I’ve just been tired and overwhelmed lately T-T. Like, I’ve turned in all my college apps but the wait is literally destroying my mental health more and more every day. Ugh, I can’t wait until it’s over.
I’ve been working on my mental health lately tho, and I think I’m (slowly!) getting a bit better! Yesterday was a bad night (I stayed up until like 3 am listening to sad songs and writing fanfics ;-;) and for like two hours this morning I couldn’t even get out of bed, but I encouraged myself to get up and I lowkey just romanticized everything I did, from brushing my teeth to washing my face and it just felt super peaceful. I’m definitely gonna start doing it more often.
I also moved back into school on Sunday! We started out virtual last week bc of COVID and moved back in this week. We have J-Term, so I’m taking a course called Encounters with Trees rn where we basically learn how to identify trees and walk around nature parks and all for a few hours each day. Even though it’s extremely cold and my legs are really achy by the end of it, I’ve really enjoyed them because they give me time to just let my mind wander and think.
I’m also slowly chipping away at my New Year’s Resolutions! My main ones are to lose weight (which I’m currently doing!), work on my mental health and reduce my screen time. I’ve realized that the main reason why I spend so much time on my phone daily is because I read on it, and I’m thinking of asking my mom for a kindle instead of an IPad so I can reduce my phone usage :))
Oof, that was pretty long! I hope you all are doing well, and I’ll see you next week! Byeee ☁️

just because I'm done with undergrad doesn't mean I'm done learning! this summer I'm going to be studying, practicing, and coding a lot for different reasons: my job, tying up loose ends of my thesis, and for plain old fun (okay, as much fun as I can have when I feel like throwing my computer out the window). I guess that means this is a CS studyblr now too? honestly I'm a little shook to find myself on this path. no one ever encouraged me to do CS in high school and I always just assumed I had a humanities brain! stay tuned for more emotional breakdowns as ya girl tries to stumble her way through some complex tasks with a basic knowledge set...

Spent a long time journaling outside today, which was really satisfying.
Now I’m in the library working on my thesis, but these other girls in the study room keep talking and taking off their masks to eat gummy bears which they’re chewing so loudly I can hear from 10 ft away 😡
APR 26 / 21
okay but april felt like it was 4 hours long, how is it the last week already? i need to get started on my may spreads!
Hey guys! I wanted to make a challenge that felt achievable to folks while still giving that sweet sense of accomplishment. My mental health has been rough lately so I kind of designed it for myself as I try to find balance between taking care of myself and taking care of my goals.
The rules: Every day for 14 days, study and post a picture of what you worked on. It can be for two minutes or for hours. Doesn’t matter—you did something! There are also mental health prompts for each day I’d love if you answered. They range from pretty light to more thoughtful. Do your best!
I’ll be tracking and reblogging from the tag #TwoWeekStudyChallenge. Please don’t worry about your pics not being aesthetic enough or that what you’re doing isn’t interesting enough. It is, I promise!
This is set up like the 100 Days of Productivity Challenge: no start/end dates. It’s a personal challenge that’s there when you need it!
Week One Prompts
Day 1: What self care did you practice today?
Day 2: What did you do that made you feel proud today?
Day 3: Have you experienced burnout from studying? How did you handle it?
Day 4: How can you improve on taking care of your mental health?
Day 5: What kind of support do you wish you received from your school/university?
Day 6: What popular self-care ritual does nothing for you?
Day 7: What small thing brings you the most comfort?
Week Two Prompts
Day 8: What’s your comfort song?
Day 9: Do you think your long term goals are achievable and healthy? Why or why not?
Day 10: What subject brings you the most joy to study, either for school or on your own?
Day 11: Do you take mental health days? Do you think you should?
Day 12: What’s your creative outlet? What’s a new one you’d like to try?
Day 13: What makes you feel inadequate? Would you think it made a friend inadequate?
Day 14: What makes you feel strong and capable?
Hi guys. Today I study for the test I have tomorrow. Hope ya doing well <3 keep going!
Two weeks study challenge
Day 4: How can you improve on taking care of your mental health?
By trying to reduce my mobile phone use time.
Day 2/100 of Productivity
This is yesterday's spread. I was told that I don't fill my pages with colors lately but this one suits my mood. The colors will be back eventually.
I had no idea until now that a couple of my followers were using my username hashtag as one to gain attention, I use it simply to track my own study posts on my blog as a record.
I am thinking to create the #studywithcider for other studyblrs to use that I will track!!
omg it is the last day of august already! august came and went so fast, I actually don’t even know what I did in august. also look at me reading everything except what I have to for my literature exam lol

Hello you guys! The extended weekend starts tomorrow, and I can’t wait for it T-T. I have the SAT again on October 2nd and the FAFSA and CSS open tomorrow so I’m gonna be super busy lol, especially with college apps. I also met one of my old friends Yesterday during a school volleyball match and we talked for so long! Yesterday night wasn’t the best bc all the pressure of college apps + imposter syndrome made me feel really bad, but my online friends cheered me up! And for the organization that I’m the Co- Director of IT for, we’ve started working on the website and it’s going pretty well! :))
