lowkey this sucks im so sorry but number 6 has been written dream:

- this happened before he face revealed - so he went out to the grocery store or smth with a mask and sunglasses so if anyone recognized him they wouldn't like see what he looked like - pulled a ranboo fr - anyway he entered the cat food aisle looking for the best cat food for patches our beloved - and was so enthralled in the cat food that he didn't hear you walk by with your cart trying to get past the aisle - "excuse me sir can u please move???" "*is looking at cat food*" "sir?" "OH IM SO SORRY" - moves immediately but not before he makes eye contact with you through the glasses - his eyes widen comically, he thinks ur gorgeous - takes advantage of that fact that you cant see his eyes and continue to admire your face as you laugh and wave ur wrist in the air, swatting away the awkward interaction just like that - you walk away and he forces his mind to go back to the cat food - but god ur imprinted in his brain and he knows he cant just let you leave - so he grabs whatever cat food he sees and runs around the store looking for you - sees you leaving and went "NOPE" - in his head - RUNS to you but slows down before he gets to you so u don't fucking murder him - "hey uh" "oh hi!" "i thought you were really cute...and i couldn't just let u leave the store without tryna get ur number" "oh :) thanks! but idk what u look like.." "right" - whips that shit off in the middle of walmart mask off challenge succeed - ur face: :O - "yeah u can have my number" "LETS GO" - speedran that shit basically

sapnap: - met u in highschool me thinks - in the peak of his i play minecraft everyday era - just showed up at school to be there yk - and you were there but never really interacted with him - until one day you had to sit next to him in english class - life OVER for him tbh he made eye contact with you and nodded like an idiot as you introduced yourself - “wow ur pretty im nick” *facepalmed internally* - youre like aw - u become friends - seating chart friendships and romances >>> - now he actually has a reson to go to school events like hoco and prom and stuff - “sorry dream ive got to to go homecoming” “motherfucker with who?” - you ask him to hoco as friends cause yk he hasnt been out much and he gratefully accepts - awkward dancing in the back - as the year progresses the two of you keep in contact even as you got moved apart in the class you sat next to - you met dream and george that was nice - prom came around and he new brother knew he had to do SOMETHING - so he made a prom posal that was like “will you be MINE(craft) at prom” or something like that - and u were like “finally” - fast forward some years and ur doing whatever u want and hes doing what hes doing now - he never formally asked you out but its implied youve been dating for years - this one sucked mb

george: - god the british - hate them/j - youre not british in this story okay - and if ur british irl,,,im sorry for ur ailment/j - ANYWAY - youre a tourist ur visiting the good old u of k - ur in london obv - and george never leaves his flat there - except to get groceries - so he walks to the nearest grocery store bc he literally cant drive - and bumps into you its the classic omg so sorry i bumped into you romance - except he thought that was awkward and kinda went “sorry” looked down at the ground and sprinted forward - you were like “the british are.....odd” - george then realized that was worse and turned around to apologize to you - and then fell in love with you - u were taking a picture on ur camera of just like the scenery of london - and we like “omg theyre cute and they appreciate the little things” - gets on discord and texts sapnap “im in love” and then sapnap goes “me too with ur mom” - logs off discord now - walks up to you sheepishly and was like “haha sorry for doing that it was a dare by my friend” and u were like “its ok:)” ad then hes like “yk what isnt a dare” and u were like “hmm what” and he was like “me asking for your number cause ur so cute” - and u were malfunctioning cause u didnt expect cute british man to ask you on a date while u were in the u of k - but u said yes and then he realized ur accent and was like “ar eyou not british” and u were like “no.” and he was like “thats okay! im skilled with long distance relationships ;)” - unknowingly flirts with you - you skull emojied and then joined him on his trip to the grocery store IDK this one was bad im sorry

karl: - YOURE IN A MR BEAST CHALLENGE - oh oh OH the amount of things in my brain running through - anyway u were a subscriber of Mr jimmy beast so he was like "come be in a video" - its one of those last to leave the circle loses - each cast member is paired with a participant and whoever wins gets 50,000 and the cast member gets like 10,000 or smtn - and jimmy had them all pick a name out of a hat to make it simple - and karl didn't pick u - nolan did - but when they walked out to meet the participants and karl made eye contact with you for a split second - god he fell right there - couldn't help but imagine what loving you would be like - knew he wanted to experience that - but he couldn't do that if he wasn't even paired with you - so he BEGS nolan to switch - "dude please cmon" "what do i get out of it??" "if i win ill give you the money" "oh shit ok" - now he's paired with you HE MASTERMINDED THAT SHIT LIKE TAYLOR SWIFT - anyway you were like "shit he's cute ill win now" - ur dynamic is amazing jimmy loves it for the video - the whole time u both are playfully flirting and just being yourselves around each other its amazing - he tries to cheat to help you LOL but gets caught with a sheepish smile on his face - that's when u fall i swtg - anyway - the filming for the video goes for like 2 and a half days so you spend a lotttt of time with karl dearest - you lose in the end tho bc in ur sleep u accidentally kicked ur foot outside the circle - you're a bit defeated - after thanking u all jimmy sends you off - and u smile and thank him and karl and head off - but then you hear a "PIT PAT PIT PAT" of feet slapping concrete behind you - "wait can i have ur number? :)" "i thought you wouldn't ask :)" and u give him ur number number for number - jimmy mischievously smiles in the background before returning to his beast lair

quackity: - LAW SCHOOL LAW SCHOOL LAW SCHOOL YOU MET THERE STOP STOP STOP - stop college romances kill me for real - guys - k I'm good - met at orientation i feel - or not met - he laid eyes on you from across the room and he was like oh shoot this place is better than i thought it would be - LOL - runs across the whole room to snag the seat next to you - "hey I'm alex, whats your name?" "oh I'm y/n!" - bro squealed inside - "i like ur name!" "thanks :) urs is nice too" - u both talked for the rest of the welcome ceremony thing - compared schedules and had...nothing together for the first semester - thATS OK you still exchanged numbers - and you kept talking and hanging out even if u didn't have class - but as friends. - AAAAAAAAAAAAA you fell for him somewhere in the middle but both of you were like - we need to finish law school first in your heads - so u both skated on the line between romance and friends - like the song boyfriend by ariana grande - but when the end of law school was in sight? quackity didn’t waste a single second - BAM got ur number BAM took u on a date BAM yk

wilbur: - fell in love with you at first sight except you didnt see him he just saw you - here’s the thing right hes the biggest hamilton fan - so when he went to see hamilton with tommy and all them - YOU WERE THERE you were in the cast you played angelica/eliza/peggy literally one of the three female main characters - ANYWAY you were screaming the lyrics to one of the songs and wilbur kinda just went “woah” - didnt see anyone else on the stage but you when you walked out - tommy was like “did u see the bullet wil” and he wa slike “no” - forced tommy to stage door after the show - prayed to all the theater gods that you came outside - when you did? game over for him - he stood there stawstruck awstruck jawstruck - aND the same happened for you!!! bc u knew who he was ofc - u had a lovejoy poster in ur dressing room duh - so by the time you came round to him and tommy you were like “heheheh” and giggling “hi omg im a big fan of your music and stuff :)” and he was like “mIne?” - his voice cracked - you giggled and you both took pictures with each other on your phones - then u invited him backstage - and he wa slike LHJSKHFSDFKGHJERT - LEFT TOMMY AT STAGE DOOR - you showed him around including on stage - and this went on for a while hed just show up a stage door and youd let him in - one day you were both on the stage and he started humming helpless and you both started dancing - and then he was like “i rlly am helpless for you, id like to try and make this something more if ur up for it” - and you were like WOOOOOO yk

game of thrones filler episode concepts

- ser pouce gets lost in the red keep and tommen and margaery have to find him! lots of fun scooby-doo type door gags. maybe tommen stumbles upon the bodies maegor built the red keep on. they’re somehow still bleeding, as if they’re the only reason the castle hasnt been whitewashed from rain. cersei accidentally gets roped in when ser pounce knocks over her wine glass!

- sansa is haunted by the ghosts of her parents while at the eyrie... to help them move on, she has to let cat possess her so lysa and cat can mend their relationship :) this magic is never mentioned ever again, even though it could be really really helpful :) the afterlife stuff is also never mentioned again

- it’s hard work being the cleaning staff for harrenhal! roose bolton wants to be leeched, there’s man-eating rats to keep track of and there’s a weird little girl running around making trouble.... back door pilot for a downton abbey but it’s harrenhal

- guest star satin episode! it can be like one of those one-off hot women on supernatural that dean will date for an episode and she never shows up again

- now hear me out. ‘doctor-lite’ episode with maybe just a cameo from walder frey or roose, means it can be produced cheaply. it’s the day before the red wedding and black walder and lame lothar have got a HELL of a party to plan!

- hotd filler episode! corlys brings home strange weeds from the free cities.... little arrax accidentally sets it on fire and the smoke is making house targaryen-velaryon-hightower a little kooky.... jace and aegon actually bond (this is never referenced again) and even the dragons are affected - vhagar gets the munchies! rhaenys is the only person not acting funny. revealed in a post-credits that she had QUITE the roaring twenties back in her hippy days 🤭 also she takes medieval medicinal CBD but thats unrelated

my long alisaie designs from 2020. this was in my mind after a timeskip where everyone thinks WOL died in a big sacrificial gesture and alisaie was so frustrated with this whole situation and at the scions for 'enabling' this that she disappears on her own again for a while and you and long alphinaud once reunited have to go track her down because he hasnt seen her in a while himself. she's doing like vigilante girlprince rescuing caravans stuff and when you first encounter her again she speaks really tersely and the brim of her hat is angled down to shadow her eyes before she does some ffxiv character shit like lifting her head to reveal her eyes are smiling and saying 'it's been far too long, brother. and you, old friend - you've made me look like a right fool, haven't you? as always. i've a few /choice words/ for you regarding your absence, but we'll get to that later - they hardly suit a reunion' while some undertale ost swells in the background

i've found your account only a few days ago but ever since then I've been STUCK here rereading your fanfics, especially ones with damian. i wasn't even a dc fan (heard about some stuf, watched some films and cartoons, but that's it) but now im reading comics since im Obsessed and need more batboys in my life (rip my productivity😔)

Anyway, after Sleepover i'm curious what will Bruce (and maybe even Thalia) think of batboys strange behaviour towards reader. He's smart, so he definitely notices it early on, but how he'll react....

I can see him being weirded out (like he was by Jason's anger issues, before his death), but he also can be an enabler, since Robin (literaly any of them) had a hard life, so if those relationships can help him why not pretend that everything is normal? you'll be safer in a Wayne's Manor anyway

All in all, thanks for a new hyperfixation 💞💞

P.s. About games:

1. Boyfriend to death 1&2 - since you're into yanderes you might want to check this game out. I prefer the second game, but the first is also fun. But beware the trigger warnings!!

2. Long live the Queen - more of a raising sim than dating sim but you still can romance some guys and girls.

,3. Hatoful Boyfriend - mostly a comedy, but there is a yandere.

4. The Royal Trap - it's been a long time since i played it, but it used to be one of my favorites so i'll just mention it.

5. Higurashi - once again not really a romance sim, but its an interesting horror mixed with a slice of life

i agree entirely about bruce just knowing how Bad things can get, so to make things simpler, he's like "yes, your darling(s) can stay in the manor, boys. 🙄"

mmm yes..... when it comes to bruce noticing the batboys are yandere, i think it's always sinfully delightful to just have him be reluctantly okay with it. 😈 it's also easier narratively ngl but i also like the idea that the batfam is all just corrupted.

bruce's thoughts are that they (his sons) fight for vengeance and justice but this is where they could use some leeway.... we all need our vice... they fight so hard for gotham, they deserve a little treat (getting rid of your human rights)... it's very "Dad who wants his sons to have happiness even if its not healthy" of him. in fics where bruce is a yandere, well, he's the exact same way so he can't judge. although if that's the case, i like the idea of bruce just being like "yes what we do isn't right. let's not talk about it. just don't kill <3"

still wondering what i like more. a yan!bruce who's self aware what he's doing is wrong but he just refuses to think about it. or a yan!bruce that justifies it all because of his paranoia, Tower of Babel style (if you don't know, that's when it's revealed batman has plans to subdue/kill the justice league just in case they go rogue.)

for the batboys depends on their personality... for damian, he's so resolute in things that i prefer when he just believes 100% what he's doing is okay, if not actually righteous. ^_^

hmmm talia.... I'M STILL UNSURE HOW I PREFER THAT AS WELL... i think talia being a you-arent-good-enough-for-my-son mom is a little cliche but also. she kinda would say that. you'd have to prove your worth somehow but idk how tf darling would do that LOL. in the end, i think talia is just relieved/comforted that her son indeed feels desire and wants love and will continue the family legacy (regardless if youre afab/can biologically have children.)

thats got me thinking actually . i havent rly had the energy nor the interest to update nuniq's doc to include interactions w/ the newest agents . including harbor and tjats literally her boyfriend lmao 😭😭😭😭 but anyway lemme make some poorly drawn depictions of what nuniq thinks of the newer agents (starting from clove to gekko)

clove

honestly. nuniq wasnt too jazzed about the idea of hiring a kid (grown adult but theyre a kid to her), especially an untrained one . she understands they might have a link to omen going rogue but is still iffy about the whole situation

also oof. the whole immortality thing? yeah it must be a lot to bear for clove, theyre just very good at hiding it. but like with a lot of the young radiants, nuniq lets them know they can approach her about this stuff bc shes been through it too

she can admit she gets pissed at clove bc their immortality causes them to make more reckless decisions on the field . she wants to get it in their head that you still have to be smart about these things no matter how much power you have

but! she thinks clove is very nice. very silly very sweet guy who is an excellent storyteller. storytelling is very intertwined in both nuniq and clove's cultures so she loves listening to whatever clove can whip up

clove has probably dragged her into dnd at least once

she took a while to grasp it but thats ok shes trying her best

anyway yeah clove talks a lot and sometimes nuniq cant understand them so she has to ask them to slow down

iso

valorant hired him because he was a kingdom killer and nuniq was ALL FOR THAT !!!!

she can tolerate the cocky smug little shit thing bc hes professional at least

hes not very hard to work with and is very cunning and calculating. nuniq likes that

iso has most definitely heard about nuniq before and was surprised to see her alive bc a lot of media made it seem she was dead to quell the uprisings against kingdom

nuniq is fascinated by iso's radiance but it definitely makes her think about how fast and how complex the concept of radiance itself is evolving . to think he could create his own pocket dimension with prismatic energy

besides that i feel like they mostly mind their own business

theres a mutual respect for eachothers skill and grit and they just *nods*

deadlock

like the thing says. theres currently some weird tension between deadlock and nuniq rn (and its surprisingly not gay)

theyre both so cold its kinda hard for either of them to approach eachother

deadlock is. working on her relationship with gekkos creatures! which nuniq appreciates

but idk nuniq never forgets anything and its hard for her to get over the fact she almost killed wingman multiple times

+ proposed awful countermeasures to keep the radivores in check

yk that one headcanon someone made about gekkos friendliness and critters winning over a lot of the protocol?

and how they immediately had beef w deadlock because of it?

yeah thats the situation with nuniq

things have simmered down with the creature situation but nuniq mostly ignores deadlock outside of work

and frankly i think deadlock's scared of nuniq too so

last but not least GEKKO !!!!

nuniq loves gekko!!! hes so silly

hes fun and lighthearted while still being a good fighter

being around gekko makes nuniq feel. Friendlier idk how else to describe it

also his critters have 100% stolen her heart sometimes she asks to babysit wingman when gekkos busy

she has had to apologize for aput using dizzy as a chew toy though

gekko has dyed nuniqs hair temporarily; it was northern lights-colored streaks that looked really cool when braided, she kept it for about a month until it washed out

overall she thinks hes very sweet and she and reyna can get along over being protective of him

anyway yeah i think thats every agent so far after harbor! wow !!! i cant believe we've already made it this far to agent 25 .. and agent 8 still hasnt been revealed yet i love valorant lore (tired

WAIAWUAUWAUWAIT I WANT IN ON THE AU STUFF!!!

Here me out :

band au and human au and highschool au. Garage band au. I have thoughts.

bart, kyborg, and mudd are all seniors in high school. Gumgum is a first year/im not from amrica i dont know what thats called.

Bart is sad because its his last year of highschool and he still hasnt made his dream band- hes not been dragged down by gumgum, but he was so focused on him he didnt get around to it- so he decides to wait after the schools music practices and find people to sign up, his only recruit being gumgum on the drums so far. at the same time as this, mudd and kyborg are wrapping up their music classes- piano for mudd and violin for kyborg. They arent friends by any stretch, and mudd straight up doesn't like Kyborg *side note hes usually refered to as ky for the beginning half of it and i'll explain why in a second*, but they happen to be walking close together when bart spots them. Bart and mudd had hung out a few times, bart having taught mudd a few bass guitar things, and so he leaps at the chance. mudd only decides to because hes spent so long being proper (taking piano lessons he hates, coming from a rich and uptight family) he wants to try a hint of rebellion.

kyborg, in an effort to seem cool, asks to join, hiding his violin and saying he can play electric guitar (hes good but hes not as great as he hams himself up to be) .

thus the band "the infinights" is formed.

~~~~~~other character specific stuff~~~~~~

mudd: before joining the band he had black hair but bart helped him dye it. Made his parents mad, but it made him really really, and eventually the other infinights convinced him to tell his parents he wanted to quit piano. Also has epilepsy and memory issues gumgum: gumgum is excited about the band, but it makes him sad as time goes on to know their all going to graduate before him. hes in a foster home, but he doesnt like it, so he spends all his time hanging out in barts flat.

bart: adores having a band. Worked in a near reverse of mudd because managing it all actually taught him to be a bit more responsible. Shared an orphanage with gumgum when they were little, till he found his parents, and had him and gumgum live with him till bart moved out senior year and gumgum got taken to a foster home, the finns a bit too old to handle their chaos. kyborg: is neutral about the band. He likes music, but electric guitar isnt his usual pace, so hes hesitant. Violin was his life until his mother died, and hes working on exploring his other interests. He doesnt show anyone hes missing an arm till a practice where hes having bad phantom pains and has to tell them. Was homeless until highschool, struggling to pay for a small apartment.

Additional:

dr ahem: dr ahem is an inventor that had been scrounging for cash, and decided to let a garage band use his facilities to practice, that became a sensation until they deformed. One night coming home he saw them playing a gig and new they'd be a success and offered his guidance to them. brink: a member of paralytes new band the everguards- thinks hes cool because hes in a band with college kids- plays the drums (its later revealed that he actually plays the trumpet and was just forced to play the drums (spectrils old roll) to make luz happy). He messes around with kyborg- and is the only one in the whole school that knows about kyborgs arm.

inku: works for a corrupt business under a man named entropa. Barts parents were both musicians, good ones too, so with the help of hugh manor manages to trap them both in what seemed like a never ending business contract in order to keep themselves a float financially. Not wanting bart to have to bare not having them be around, they tearfully put him up for adoption and continued working under her.

Quadron: a burglar, vague partners with entropa but really just doing the stealing thing. Was born without arms, and dr ahem spent all his money on making him prosthetics- but this sank his brother into heavy debt and into a heavier depression. He started stealing to make money for them, but eventually it became a vent for his frustration with life. One burglary was towards a comfortable house, but they fought back- so he killed the whole family besides a young kydelious, who instead got shot in the arm near fatally. Qudron ran, lighting the place ablaze- but a while later dr ahem brought a child missing an arm into their home. Kydelious. Seeing quadron sent the kid into a panic, and he fled off into the wilderness.

Hilda Appreciation Week Day Seven

Day Seven: Free Day/Favorite AU(s) (Yours, someone else's, or both!)

Now it's the last day and it's a free one. Specifically about AU's and whatever else. But I'm going to admit this. I don't really have a favorite AU. I don't really delve into many AU's in the Hilda fanbase. But you know, I have read some stuff that is AU related. Even though I mainly read stuff that could be friendly to canon or not. It depends, but again, I don't know every AU and I don't catch up with them. But I want to give praise to @wildflowers-of-trolberg and her amazing "Runaway Hilda" AU.

While I have only read the "Main" story of it. Not any of the side stories from what I know. But I am genuinely impressed with the amount of work Pikablob has done for making this one big AU. She is a very talented person with all of the writing she has done. Even if we disagree on certain things. I'd recommend checking out their account if you like HIlda.

I also need to read @hyperpsychomaniac 's work as well because they are very talented from what I've seen.

But I want to talk about my own stuff. It's something I've thought of before. But it's still in development. I question if I'll continue it. It all started with a...simple story of Eda meeting Johanna in a certain scenario. And I should continue trying to write a cohesive timeline that pretty much contains Hilda, The Owl House and Infinity Train in one multiverse.

I try to make my stories canon friendly where you can imagine they likely happen in canon before or after certain things. But I did change one thing for Infinity Train. Mainly the end of book 3. But everything else before those events are canon. I'm speaking about books 4, 1, 2 and book 3 episodes 1-8.

One of the challenges I know I am going to face is adding Hilda season 3 into the timeline. Because that season revealed some game changing information for the series. But also, I have thought maybe because of season 3, the multiverse connecting these three shows might be so much easier.

Granted, I have nothing major with any huge crossovers. I've mainly written some Joheda stuff. Even though I'd REALLY want to write some major stuff with Infinity Train. My old plans were to include Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur into it. But I felt because of other plans and other things I've been thinking, I'd likely rather not add a Marvel property into it.

But I genuinely question about deleting that and if I want to go with through with that. Because season 1 is only a thing and season 2 is going to introduce a lot of new stuff. Yet I like the funny idea of characters like Erik Ahlberg, Emperor Belos, Simon Laurent, Amelia Hughes, Adam, Lute, Alastor and the Vee's all exist in the same multiverse. Yet I should say that would be pretty terrifying.

In a nutshell, I have thought I basically made my own MCU using shows that you need to watch to understand this timeline if I were to ever crossover more of them.

I'm getting distracted and should post this. This is the last of my Hilda appreciation week posts. Thank you all for liking my previous posts. :) I really liked that this existed. It's a great way to have the fandom talk about what they love about the show.

look i love my boy, but baxter literally dumps you outside of your childhood home, shuts the door in your face even if you’re sobbing in the middle of the street, and then ghosts you for five years and then pretends he doesn’t care about you when you meet again. this is even if he’s aware that he’s your first love (if you chose to make him that). he literally says that you have bad taste in men if you choose to date him again before you’ve talked anything over shshhshssbb. love him but he needs a therapist waaaaayyyyy more than he needs a partner.

Ryouta Kazama

ok so i havent actually seen all of his route cause the game's only available in japanese and the streamer i watched play the game switched to a different guy like halfway through the game n i seriously doubt anyone else is gonna submit him i just need someone else to know about this so! ryouta and the player character (doesnt have a canon name but is given the nickname of marii by the two girl friends) were friends in kindergarten with ryouta having a very blatant crush on her n wished on a pinwheel for them to get married when theyre older he then moves to england as soon as he gets old and he n marii dont interact at all until nine years later when he comes back for high school and is still very blatantly down bad for a girl he last talked to when they were six but has spent the last nine years still thinking about (theres something in the game you can unlock called adv events where you get the love interests pov on moments in their lives and one of ryouta's reveals that even though he couldve he never sent marii any letters but very much did spend all those years thinking about her) n a lot of his interactions with marii are weird n circle back to him being obsessed with them being friends as kids and like a first it just kind of seems like oh he hasnt gotten over his puppy love yet lol but it is kind of like acknowledged that this is a weird thing in game as if marii gets his gift in the christmas exchange ryouta will say something about it being fate n marii pointedly ignores that n is like wow what a coincidence that we got eachother's gifts (not in an oblivious heroine way btw ryouta's straight up is like oh ok ur ignoring what i said) n he treats her like shes naive n completely innocent which like marii is cause shes a mostly blank slate otome heroine but its still noteworthy as being weird due to his aforementioned memorialization of them being friends in kindergarten n that none of the other love interests really treat marii that way or really make note of those being notable traits of hers that often while its something ryouta does frequently anyway so the moment that made my thoughts on ryouta switch from "lol hes kind of weird" to "i want to study him like a bug" is that His Bedroom Is The Exact Same As It Was When He Was A Six Year Old Child In Kindergarten And Hes Keeping It That Way On Purpose like genuinely thats immediately read to me as horror movie shit imagine reuniting with a childhood friend of urs who keeps bringing up stuff you did as kids (that you dont really remember cause you were like six n are now in high school) n making comments about how naive and easy to read you are n gets weirdly jealous about other guys being buddy buddy with you and then like a year or so after hes moved back n you've becomed friends again he invites you to hang out at his house so you go over and then His Room Looks Like It Belongs To A Six Year Old and hes telling you about how his room hasnt been altered (beyond cleaning) at all since he left n since hes come back hes chosen to keep it exactly the same n hes telling you this like its a reasonable thing literally what the fuck also while ryouta is the posterboy childhood friend love interest of this game theres another love interest who was both ryouta n marii's childhood friend and you'll never believe this he treats her like a normal person and is just a normal guy who barely remembers being friends in kindergarten and him n marii only learn that theyre childhood friends cause of ryouta being mildly exasperated that neither of them really remembers them being a trio when they were six theres definitely like worse love interests i could submit from this series (like the teachers n one of the three secret love interests in the second game whos route is just straight up him emotionally abusing the heroine) but im submitting ryouta cause his reasons for sucking as a romantic partner are bizarre n live rent free in my mind

okay id like to preface with a lot of it is VIBES which means if smth doesnt make sense i need everyone to suspend the FUCK out of their disbelief dont question me we are here for a GOOD TIME and a GOOD TIME ONLY. here are some bullet points largely summing up things ive already drawn!!!! pls note my fav kind of Time Stuff is bullshit miserable groundhog day style time loops

-chat blanc gets the bunny miraculous we dont ask questions about this

-he SLINKS ARND IN THE SHADOWS of paris for a while and it builds up marinettes paranoia bc shes TOTALLY 100% SEEN CHAT NOIR and knows that absolutely he isnt akumatized so she gaslights herself into thinking she hasnt caught random glimpses of chat blanc BUT ALSO spirals into a state of FULL BLOWN constant fight or flight response and wont sleep so that shes not vulnerable

-blah blah chat blanc drops in on her while adrien is arnd entirely bc i really wanted to draw that thing of adrien doing the Mom Arm when the car stops too fast bc this whole sitch is just a violent messy WRECK. anyway chat blancs whole attitude is like hewwo my love <:3c im here to give us a super romantic ending <:3c and marinettes response to everything is just like. okay cool, i am going to puke now!! meanwhile adriens just like what the FUCK is happening here

-anyway. more cat n mouse games. ANYWAY. at some point its lb vs cb but chat blanc is just having a great week and WINNING so gets her earrings or smth who cares and successfully romeo and juliets himself n marinette yandere style. a VERY ROMANTIC ENDING bc nothing was ever gonna fix things OBVI so ofc they have to just die in each others arms 💖

-YES adrien experiences massive manpain NO i dont care anyones opinion on it bc i love to see the kids cry. OBVI he is catastropically devastated and NO there is no identity reveal hes just deeply and viciously torn tf UP over marinette getting dead and also feeling completely helpless AND ALSO ALSO like hes the one to blame <:3

-everyone is so catatonic in the wake of No More Marinette that even adrien doesnt notice ladybug hasnt been arnd since

-idk. timeloop shit. adriens stuck in a cycle of the night before (V HARD TO GET A HEAD START IN SUCH A SHORT TIMEFRAME!!) day of, n day after (so no matter what he always has to reexperience the aftermath hehe). i am actually not a huge fan of when longer timespan loops get past mid teens (ESP when it gets to TRIPLE DIGITS???!) bc it feels like it cheapens the experience and also acute stress is sexier than chronic SO ANYWAY. eventually he will obviously succeed in brking the loop and keeping marinette frm dying. good for him.

-every loop is a little different bc every loop marinette CANT PUT HER FINGER ON IT but she knows something is Not Right, which chat blanc is ALSO feelin, so every time they react or do smth diff which means adrien is constantly having to deal w CHANGING VARIABLES !! hes having a bad time. marinette is having a bad time. chat blanc is having a very good time

-final actual confrontation or whatever is pure marichat (DOUBLETEAM. MARI IS AN ACTIVE PARTICIPANT EVEN AS A CIVILIAN. YOU GO BABY!!). ive only drawn adrinette moment but the whole thing is very marichat bc im PREDICTABLE!! anyway no lb bc marinette freaks out cb is gonna take her earrings or cataclysm them so she just straight up swallows em. good job baby.

-THE END BABY!! epilogue reveal EVENTUALLY but for quite some time after they are both quietly carrying the weight of their secret traumas alone w neither of them having a full picture of the situation but not knowing it. what a good time :)

i think this looks v adrien focused but they are all having their separate little stories here and its largely marinette feeling isolated and small for all her mistakes, and chat blanc feels like the worst possible one she has or could ever make so she cant consider asking anyone, let alone CHAT NOIR HIMSELF!! to help her, which just makes everything 100000x harder. by the end of the STORY PROPER she accepts she can trust herself in chat noirs hands but shes still too scared to put her full weight on him bc she doesnt wanna FUCK UP. meanwhile adrien wont say shit to her abt it bc he doesnt wanna burden her w his SECRETS also hes drownin in guilt. also eventual identity reveal changes nothing for him in terms of grief bc he already felt like he died every time marinette did except worse bc he had to just keep living anyway :) but now also hes afraid of an identity reveal for probably obvious reasons. and then beloved CHAT BLANC man of the HOUR switched gears frm wanting to Fix things to wanting to destroy things bc hes a fucking yandere wifeguy OKAY. he knows he is forever RUINED for love of marinette and since he cant have her future is instead entirely focused on making sure he has all of her end <:3c

dw the kids are gonna be OKAY. they are insane and the power of LOVE will help pull them thru, theyre just going to be incredibly clingy for the rest of their LIVES

i completely forgot to post this here. here is some huntlow stuff for you! set in the golden garden au. willow has now met luz but hunter hasnt yet.

Hunter always was on task. Never once was he late and more often than not he was early. Which is why Willow was anxiously rubbing her fingers across her knuckles. Ever since Willow had met Hunter a few months ago they would meet once every other week near Hexide on the grudgby field. They didn’t get to see each other a lot but when they did they always had fun.

He’s always early, why isn’t he today? What if he doesn’t want to be friends anymore? What if I don’t matter to him anymore?

Willow tried to breathe more consistently, Don’t let yourself spiral Willow, you know better!

But it didn’t help. Willow's head was a storm of intrusive thoughts, What if he got hurt? What if someone in the Coven found out and now he isn’t allowed to see me anymore? What if he’s-

No, no, no. She wasn’t going to let herself think like that. She just would have to extract herself from the situation. Out of sight, out of mind. He was probably fine. Just some mission that was taking a long time.

Besides, she thought, clenching her fists, If he’s not here right now I highly doubt he’s coming today.

Willow sighed, looking back at the grudgby field again before starting to walk back to her house. The sun was setting anyway. They would always go home after the sunset. No reason to stay.

Still, as she left she could feel her whole body ache. Either her anxiety was getting the better of her - again - or something was seriously wrong.

Willow sat on her bed looking out at the balcony. The night was quiet and there weren’t many clouds in the sky, the moon shining down into the room. The beauty of it would normally be calming. But Willow's thoughts refused to let her off the hook.

What if he’s on a really long mission that takes weeks, even months to complete? What if he’s seriously injured? What if he died ?

Willow mindlessly tugged on her curls, tears brewing in her eyes. Her face felt hot with anger. What if he had abandoned her like Amity? Was she really just a weakling? She looked over at the picture taped to her mirror.

Her and her friends are all having fun at Grom. Amity was there. Amity had come back. She looked at Luz.

You’re the strongest witch I know next to Eda.

She took a deep breath, loosening the grip on her curls. She wasn’t weak anymore. Hunter never saw her as weak and he wouldn’t abandon her. Something was definitely wrong-

Suddenly Willow heard someone crash onto her balcony. She jumped up out of bed, hands drawn into a defensive stance as she approached the figure.

“Willow?”

Willow blinked in surprise hurrying over to help the figure up, “Hunter, why are you here now?”

“Belos kept me in the castle but I snuck out and then you weren’t at the grudgby field so I came here.”

“You snuck out,” Willow said worriedly, “What if Belos punishes you?”

“Willow,” Hunter said, waving off her concern, “I sneak out every time we meet, don’t worry about it.”

“You what ?!”

“I sneak out of the castle to see you.” He repeated, shifting awkwardly in his place.

Willow grabbed his gloved hands, holding them close to her, “Hunter, you cannot sneak out of the Emperor's castle just to see me.”

“Why not?” Hunter said stubbornly.

“We both know exactly why Hunter,” she said, crossing her arms.

He pushed the mask of the Golden Guard up to reveal his face, his eyes pleading, “Willow please I enjoy seeing you, don’t send me back.”

Willow squinted, noticing a huge slash across his side profile. That hadn’t been there before. The blood on it looked fresh and the cut looked deep. She gasped.

“Hunter what the hell happened to your face?”

“Oh yeah that…” he said, rubbing his arm letting out a hollow laugh.

“Who did that to you?” her eyes looked as though green lightning had struck through them.

Hunter shivered as he tried to shrug off the question, “It’s not important, don’t worry about it.”

Willow stepped forward, their faces barely inches away from each other, “You,” she said pointing at him while he blushed, “Are not the Golden Guard when it comes to me, so don’t try to tell me what to do.”

“I know, I know, sorry.”

“Come, I’ve got some bandages from Luz,” she said, going back to her room sorting through her desk drawers, “I don’t know healing magic, sorry.”

Hunter sighed, “I really wish you wouldn’t talk to Luz and the Owl Lady, you might get into trouble.”

“Well I wish you wouldn’t sneak out and put yourself in harm's way just to see me,” Willow said simply, pulling out the antibacterial, “but it seems neither of us get what we want.”

Hunter shut his mouth quickly. She smirked at his reaction before walking over to him, “I need to clean out your wound but it’s going to hurt.”

Hunter shrugged, “I doubt it will hurt as much as this cut does.”

She frowned as she brought the gauze up to his face, “How did you get it anyway?”

He flinched, from the sting of the antibacterial or her words she couldn’t tell.

“Sorry,” she apologized, “You don’t have to tell me if you don’t want to.”

“No, no it’s okay,” he assured her, “It’s just-”

His breathing became quick and inconsistent as he tried to hold back his tears. Willow pulled the gauze away from his face. She gently took his hands, holding them in her own.

“Hey,” she whispered, trying not to scare him, “try to breathe more steadily.”

He nodded, watching their hands as he started to breathe more slowly. He closed his eyes before opening them again, taking a deep breath as he looked down at Willow.

“Sorry.”

“It’s okay, you can cry if you need to.” she assured him, squeezing his hand.

He nodded and she returned to disinfecting the cut. He flinched a little when she got to the deeper part of the cut.

“Sorry, but I need to make sure this won’t get infected.”

“It’s okay,” Hunter said quickly, trying to assure her that all was well, “Better than anything Belos would have done.”

Willow flinched this time, her breath hitched, voice shaky as she asked him, “What would Belos do?”

Hunter fidgeted uncomfortably, “Well after he gave me the cut-”

“ He what ?! ”

“He gave me the cut,” he repeated slowly, “and then he sent me to my room.”

“Isn’t the Coven full of healing prodigies,” Willow said, feeling increasingly concerned by her friend's situation, “Why didn’t any of them help you?”

“Oh um,” he rubbed his arm, “They are not allowed to help me.”

“Why not?” she asked, trying to keep her temper under control so as to not scare the poor boy.

“Belos doesn’t want anyone to think the royal family is weak in any way.”

“You are not weak for getting hurt,” she stated firmly, “and Belos should never hurt you.”

“I messed up,” he said softly, avoiding looking at her eyes, “I suggested looking into wild magic to help with his- current issue.”

“So let me get this straight,” Willow asked, as calmly as she possibly could given the circumstance, “Belos struck you because you tried to help him?”

“I guess-”

“What do you mean, ‘I guess’ that’s what happened!”

“Our family was killed by wild magic,” He responded angrily, “besides why does it matter, he can always find me and punish me no matter where I am on the Isles.”

“Not if he’s dead.”

“Willow, you can’t kill my uncle.”

“I’ll get Luz, Amity, Gus, and Eda to help,” she said stubbornly.

“Willow , I am trying to keep you safe,” he said, squeezing her hands, “I don’t want you to get hurt because of me, I care about you too much.”

“Well I care about you and don’t want you to get hurt.”

Hunter sighed, “Willow you won’t be able to get rid of Belos and if he orders me I’ll have no choice but to fight you, and in that case you would have to kill me.”

“I am not going to kill you Hunter-”

“ Willow, ” he pulled her closer so she had no choice but to look at him and acknowledge his words, “I need you to promise me you’ll kill me if that happens.”

“Hunter-”

“You’re more powerful and I could never bring myself to harm you,” he said firmly, “If you ever have to face me I need you to kill me.”

“Hunter, don't make me promise that,” she said, tightening her grip on his hands, tears starting to descend from her eyes, “I can’t, I would never be able to.”

“Well if you’re going to attack Belos, I need you to promise me that.”

“Well how am I supposed to protect you then?” she whispered, feeling defeated.

Hunter gently wiped the tears from her face, “You don’t have to.”

“Hunter, I-”

“It’s not your job to monitor my wellbeing,” he said softly, hands holding her face, “You can’t always protect me.”

Willow caved into his arms, wrapping her arms around his waist. He blinked in surprise before pulling her closer to him. His cloak draped over her shoulders like a blanket as she cried. Hunter held her close, resting his chin on the top of her head.

“I wish you could just stay here forever,” she said, loosening her grip on him slightly.

“Where, in your room?”

“Just… with me I guess,” she explained, glancing up at him briefly, “I just wish you could stay with me instead of going back to that awful hell hole of a castle.”

“Yeah,” Hunter said, brushing the hair out of her face, “I do as well.”

Willow looked up and rested her hand on the side of his face opposite to the cut. She pulled his face closer to her own, inspecting the cut. Hunter blushed bright red, confused by her actions but he decided not to say anything.

“Sorry, I forgot to put a bandaid on your cut,” she said, blushing slightly when she noticed their proximity. She got up quickly and went back to sorting through her desk drawers.

She picked up the box of bandaids that Luz had given her from the Owl House. ( Now you’re a boo-boo buddy as well! ) There were only a few large enough to cover up the cut. She turned back to Hunter, sitting down on the bed. She brought her right hand back up to his face, turning it so she could more easily see the huge cut. She peeled off the back of the bandaid and carefully placed it over the wound. She placed the rest in his hand.

“Here, you should probably change the bandaid every day,” she said, not noticing that her hand hadn’t left his face, “Make sure it doesn’t get dirty, I’ll try to get some more from Eda though; you’ll need to come back tomorrow.”

“Sure,” he smiled, “I wouldn’t mind that at all.”

“Do not get caught.”

“I won’t.”

“If you get into trouble I’m going to be so mad.”

“I won’t,” he repeated, trying not to laugh at her adorably stern expression.

“Good,” she smiled, before noticing her hand holding his face. And how close their faces were.

Her face flushed brightly, as she pulled away her hand, “Sorry bout’ that.”

“Oh,” Hunter pulled back slowly, “it’s fine, I didn’t really mind.”

“Oh.”

“Yeah.”

“Yep.”

“All right,” Hunter said laughing awkwardly as he walked over to the balcony, grabbing his artificial staff. He pulled his mask down and waved back to her quickly, “See you tomorrow I guess!”

Willow watched as he shot across the sky, back to the castle. She sat back on her bed. Oh that poor sweet adorable boy. She wished it wasn’t like this. She wished she could protect him.

STAR TREK: DISCOVERY | S1E9 "Into the Forest I Go"

Seeing DISCO fly like that orbiting the ship is so pretty. Lorca does captaincy pretty well so far Or at least definitely holds that air Ok so these camera cuts dont feature zooms every shot - feels infinitely better. But I dont imagine that will last. It's so odd - I want to like Lorca more but he has such a sinister air about him - which is intentional im sure. curious what his lore is. I wonder where his tribble tribbles off to Nice to see lorca caring about the purpose of his ship - science haha this is the first time ive felt evil untrustworthiness in a main starship captain damn saru just like TALK to burnham? i saw your look at her when Lorca said she's to stay. These effects are so nicee Oml how Doc Hugh just swiped the PADD's contents into the holographic screen like that, sexy its so odd to see the camera out of focus in shots that should be in focus i really love how these screens look

Kol talking is so nice to hear his voice and how klingon roles off his speech sounds relaly good Ok in these klingon scenes, they really should stop the zooms. it makes it all feel like cutscenes in a videogame. such pretty beaminggg Im curius to see how they can retain this tension Ugh seeing DISCO move like that is so pretyyyy Dude time and time again, Trek could be such a good game series. theres so much to do if they can write a rich enough basis and objective course. I know Star Trek: Resurgence is a thing, but why is it the ONLY thing like it that exists for Trek? These things really make me wonder. And make me worry I really hope Trek doesnt fade out. I recognise another aspect of why I feel confused about Burnham's character is that it hasnt been made apparent to me really her amiable or decent rooting into the crew to care about them due to all of the animosity the show was borne with. L'Rell's eyes look so gooddd Damn she was into torturing u huh Damn you just shot her like that damn poor Tyler. I love how solid the phasers look in hand I love the detail in the sets marvelous job. Ohh thats a very nice fade in to the monitor of the sensour

oml the way DISCO could just spin like that and pull DBZ teleport lmaoooooo Kol saying "wtf is it doing" lmaooo I worry that the sensour on the klingon ship is so bright and glowy would just give away its position to the klingons It's a little odd how the DISCO spins before teleportation haha intersting though Stamets said I love you but had like no gravity ack The way Stamets shakes his head side to side like that nakedly without camera effect or blured movement looked laughable. this kind of stuff just really impedes the show. when its easy to fix. The way Kol picks his teeth with the badge - the way its shot is not the best but ill say Burnham's line delivery saying "I'm the one who killed T'Kuvma" was actually really good and strong. man this show has bits and pieces of being rather fair in performance. but it gets assaulted by really amateur/dumb/distasteful constructive choice in the episodes

damn i didnt think hed put the badge on himself That looks so interesting imagine that OOOO I liked that transport midjump nice ??? really?? Kol is destroyed just like that?? that felt so fast with very little impact? Kol never really felt menacing is the thing. The scariest the klingons felt in this show so far is literally episode one. when Burnham meets this fully armoured klingon during her space flight. It was a literlaly BEAUTIFULLY DELICIOUS moment of that reveal and that bird of prey it was actually WONDERFULLY done. where has that gone. i still dont care at all for ash x burnham. itd be more compelling if they were good friends. without romance.

i feel like nothing really significant happened with Kol gone now like nothing at all. There is a certain curse that Star Trek has. That is loses a lot of steam when it attempts to deviate from TOS. I mean, i understand TOS is the essence of trek forever and always. but it also makes me sad that trek doesnt really stand on its own with much semblance of strength without TOS. It's another reason why Trek feels so small. Cargo Bay is so pretty. Lorca being humble is nice. saying thank you? nice. The filming of this episode is literlaly better. the camera direction is not done in such an annooyingly impatient jittery way as past episodes I like how we just appreciate the cargo bay environment KLINGON BOOBS. i didnt think id see that. oml dont tell me you have a stockholm syndrome thang going on :( wow thats the first time i ever seen a naked klingon. Oh shit. dont say she R'd u. that's fucked. Ok I think another reason why this episode is actually better is because its actually DARING to be more S T E A D Y . which is something htis show CRITICALLY needs desparately. stamets kissy Hugh cuteee Stamets you better not die from this last jump.

Um. Lorca. Those are a lot of coordinates? um. ummmmm. oh shit whoaaaaaaa those are some NICE ice crystal effects on the glass

ummm there were momentarily 2 DISCOs ……. m…. …..m………mmm…….mirrorverse….??? infinite permutations huh MIRRORVERSE?

damn stamets so pale even his eyes lost colour. Kind of funny every time we see the android we hear that electronic sound Oooo

Ok yeah this was one of the stronger episodes in the series so far. almossst exclusively because the camera work/cinematic editing was more PATIENT. whatd i say. ok well an improvement for sure, this episode was.

Just went for a walk, time for episode 16

Aphmau is just hangin out in the forest now for A While w/ this wolf child so yknow. not ideal but she manages to comfort them a little and calm down herself

Idk what time of day it is at this point, if its night time we could maybe get a cool scene of Aphmau fighting some mobs or smth

After a while she realizes that she saved this kid just now bc John told her if she did it he would help, but now shes just in the forest and doesnt really know what to do, so she decides to sneak back to Brightport bc Time Is Of The Essence

So shes hangin out at the outskirts of town (with the wolf child still) and tries to figure out how to approach this, bc she cant exactly just walk in there again after everyone saw her but she needs to talk to John. For a while Aphmau is basically just pacing around, trying to think of way to sneak into a village thats on high alert because of werewolves with a wolf child in her arm

Once again, she starts getting more anxious and is just about to just go "fuck it, Im just gonna shoot my shot", trying to not think about what happens if she fails, when John comes crawlin out of the bushes or smth being all like "Oh man, thank god I found you! I heard that someone was running through the village with a wolf in their arms, did you get Lowell?!??"

Aphmau sets him down and the two kids have a cute reunion thingy, maybe John says smth about how his mom is gonna be really pissed at him but its totally worth it to save his friend

She then asks what to do next, and its to bring Lowleen back to his parents (not sure who gets the line of dialogue for that yet) that they can meet at the docks(?) idk that seems kinda weird to me and a bit too close to Brightport, I'll probably change the meeting place to somewhere else

They make their way to this meeting place, meanwhile Lowleen and John can have a cute lil convo as friends in the background until Aphmau realizes that she hasnt been given any information about the missing Lord and asks about that

He basically says what he says in the OG about Lowleens parents knowing more and Aphmau responds the same way, but this time both of the kids deny it and defend the werewolves obvs. I'll probably use the "Why does everyone think the werevolves are the bad guys here!" line, but change some of the other dialogue here

Aph doesnt have her interaction w/ Merida since she never return to talk to John, but I might make her be resentful of Aphmau for endangering her son later on, if she appears again after this

Im also cutting Aphmaus interaction with Azura

I'll need to insert the exposition from Azura here somewhere else though, particularly the stuff w/ Zenix bc that could be especially important

They arrive at the docks, maybe they could have talked some more on the way, maybe reveal a bit about the werewolves idk yet

(Aphmau also doesnt get that house in Brightport ofc)

They meet the wolf parents, Aphmau doesnt get attacked in this bc shes w/ John here, Im cutting all of the wolf's dialogue until we get to "Human, thank you for returning or pup, its not often we find people as kind as you", from then on the dialogue is the same as it is in the OG

Aphmau turn to John and tells him to hurry along and get back to his mom as soon as possible, before going to follow the werevolves

*slams in* yall thought you saw the last of my headcanon rambles about specific characters but yall gonna see me today YALL GONNA SEE ME-

anyways Augustus Aquato headcanons for yall!! :D this is gonna be kinda all over the place cause, unlike my other rambles, Augustus has an actual story??? and isnt just kinda thrown into things as a 1 dimensional antagonist or background character? so its a lil disjointed but idk im here to ramble n vibe

Augustus time babeeeey

- puttin it out there, this man is bisexual and u cant convince me otherwise like hes got the vibe anyways-

- before he and Donatella branched off together to make the Aquato Family Circus, he was definitely part of a bigger, more well funded production to keep things afloat for himself and his Nona. in my heart n soul, he used to also do animal taming. had a lion n tiger n they were both the sweetest damn things to him and he loved em both very much.

- Augustus is actually the YOUNGEST in his family, having two brothers before him. so in a weird way, he gets where Raz is coming from when it's revealed just how he feels.

- hes got hydrokinesis just like the rest of his family, of course, and im of the full belief in visualizes into the snakes that Maligula also had. a sign that while his powers are his own, he still hasnt forgotten what this power did to his country. what this power did to his family. its a trauma that'll never leave, but it gets easier to face it when he knows HES in control of the snakes, not some other force or person.

- alternatively, hes awful at pyrokinesis. this man nearly set his hair on fire once hes terrible at it. he tries very hard! hes able to do sparks or light small embers within his control! but once it starts to grow it gets worse.

- he gives up parts of his meals for his kids or his Nona. he also definitely eats last out of the family, gets his first bowl when others are gettin seconds, cause he likes making sure everyone has enough to eat for the night and for tomorrow.

- he still speaks Grulovian! shouldnt be that much of a shock this is here but he didnt just forget the language when he was brought to the states. he and Nona still talk in fluent Grulovian, and he definitely teaches it to his kids. its a bit of a learning curve for them, but its still something he does try to keep up with. it'd be a shame for the language to just kinda...die out yknow?

-THIS MAN LOVES HIS KIDS. i should NOT have to say this but some of yall need a reminder. Augustus isnt the perfect father, he never has been and never will be, but the fact is that he holds an undying love for his kids and thatll never EVER change.

- hes actually pretty smart but like...mostly with math n numbers n stuff like that. Donatella usually leaves the money counting to him since Augustus does quick math in his head like no ones business. numbers are surprisingly simple for him and he weirdly likes the counting? its easy stuff. this also means his kids will sometimes ask him random ass difficult math questions and he'll answer just flawlessly in record time. so far no question has bested him yet.

- but to backpeddle off that last one, anything besides numbers? yeah hes all heart no brain. cant do science thats not his thing, and he knows the bare basics for a few things but yeah his high knowledge points are train-related smarts, numbers, and acrobatics related.

- SPEAKIN OF TRAINS!! he's loved trains ever since he was a lil kid in Grulovia. he'd watch em exit the station with such childlike awe and wonder and that feeling never faded no matter HOW old he got. he doesnt really have the money for his model train hobby, but he managed to save one lil train from being destroyed. it needed repairs so he brought it to bed with him to poke n prod at it so hes still got that one, but other then that he kinda just enjoys trains from afar. he also knows so much about how they work? like so much. he could be an engineer if he didnt have the circus goin.

- hes a great singer. old love songs sung to his wife while swaying gently in the dead of night, gentle Grulovian lullabies when his kids cant sleep, SUPER old Grulovian songs his Nona taught him and they sing together sometimes. music is just an important thing to Augustus so he sings a lot.

- this man is the sewer. learned from Nona on how to do the patches. Dona COULD do it but Augustus usually spots the rip or tear first so he usually just starts lookin for fabric before Donatella can offer to do it herself. they dont MATCH sure but it adds character. plus he thinks its sweet when his kids go to him for fixing rips or tears or adding patches to their clothes.

- there is quite literally, NO place Augustus would rather be then where he is right now. he has a beautiful, smart wife, 5 wonderful, albeit dramatic and a lil bratty, kids, and his aunt even if their relationship is a bit...rocky right now. he wouldnt give up what he has for the world. he loves his family, he truly does, and he hopes now hes able to do them proud by being better then who he was before.

alright thats all i got rn, maybe another day i'll draft out my whole backstory idea for him cause i got thoughts but for now enjoy this Augustus content. or dont! idk all this is my opinion n thoughts. but i love Augustus so i got so many thoughts n feelings

i feel like you'd be interested in this: a friend of mine went missing about 5-6 years ago in a highly suspicious fashion. abandoned his beloved car, bought a gun before hand even though he wasnt a gun person, abandoned his car with his laptop and camera in the mountains. his sister who was leading the investigation "mysteriously" passed away right before it was revealed that their dad was a predator. both of their parents refuse to talk to anyone and have been seemingly unbothered by this. 1/2

recently the case was picked back up again, which hasnt been great for my mental health, but im hopeful there will be closure soon. its always weird to have a missing person as a friend because i can go on youtube or reddit and people are talking about his case like its an episode of true crime. i dont know how to feel about it if im being honest, the speculation is good for keeping the case alive, but some of it leaves a bad taste in my mouth, yknow?

man, that's absolutely awful. I'm so sorry you're going through this, anon. having a loved one go missing is said to be the single most unbearable psychological burden that a human being can have and live with, so like... this is so unbelievably tough. I can't imagine what it's like going through life with all these unanswered questions hanging over your head, and I hope one day you find any answers you're looking for and get a sense of closure.

I get what you mean about the true crime stuff, though. some people really do not know how to act, and I think people tend to forget that these cases involve real life people who have real life loved ones who are still around, and could easily stumble across discussions and speculation. I'm interested in all kinds of mysteries and the kinds of things the internet likes to describe as "going down the rabbit hole", and I see this kind of behaviour a lot. I can understand it, to an extent -- I know what it's like to feel the thrill of putting pieces together or working out a new theory, but I also make sure to be very, very careful in how I express that. it can so easily come across as callous excitement, and while I accept that my interest in these things (as well as historical tragedies -- such is the fate of a historian) is inherently voyeuristic, it doesn't mean I have to embrace it and act like... well, like a freak and a weirdo, really. and I'm sure even the respectful speculation is probably also very strange for you, because that's real life for you; that's somebody you love, not just a case.

when I was 15 years old a friend of mine, also 15, was murdered. because the timing of his death coincided with some specific dates and timelines in our country (civil war and unrest that had been going on for decades) his name is often mentioned at the strangest times; it's used as almost a bookend on a certain chapter of the country's history. it's very, very strange to see people talking about his murder and the wider context it occurred in, and even though most people are sympathetic and respectful, I still feel... well, protective of him, I guess. like no, that's not for you to discuss, that's my friend. I imagine something similar occurs for you, no matter how decent people are being about it. nevertheless it's good for keeping attention on his case, as you said, and I hope one day this leads to the answers you and his loved ones are looking for.

okay, it’s over :)

first thoughts out of the way: not a big fan of this special. it’s like watching a completely different show. it’s not got the PZSHAHH of the normal wizard city stuff and there weren’t a lot of funny jokes or even hearty moments in the thing.

it suffers from a lack of invested character interactions, much like BMO did. there was not a single main cast member in the whole thing! and like i said before, much of peppermint butler’s character in the show is based on his very sweet relationship to his mother, princess bubblegum, so when they showed a single (hilarious) photo of them together it made me sad we didn’t get any scenes with them together. it would have STOLEN this episode. and they teased the hunson golf photo, and death!!! and jake appeared in a photo T_T last jake appearance.

it also suffers because Peppermint Butler is clearly not himself, imo he was way more entertaining in the Together Again special, where we seem him back to his “normal” self.

i dont think peps being a dark wizard was something to “kill off” exactly. i wonder what was going on there? was that actually peps, or was that a spirit he cursed himself with based on himself? we at least know in the future he does become a dark wizard again, and even princess :) this special didn’t answer those questions but lol.

THE GOOD STUFF, because yes, there was a lot of good stuff!

God, I’m with Aracle and Maya on this - I LOVE Cadebra and her relationship to Pep. I wish she was even in more of this - I would love to watch the adventures of Cadebra and Pepbut in their first year of school, like in the end credits.

That, imo, is where the heart of the special lay - Peppermint Butler’s attempts to impress himself, versus Cadebra’s self acceptance and desire to follow her dreams of being a goofy goober, no matter what other people thought of her.

It turned out that Cadebra is a responsible student and family member. I really liked that. Her scenes with Abracadaniel were, somehow, my favourite in the entire special!

I like that theres a lot of cool magic towards the end of this special, and a lot of HORRIFYING DEATH. It wouldn’t be adventure time if you didn’t randomly kill off child characters. Poor Spader, I hated you but damn, what a grim fate.

I like that Bufo and Caledonius had this crush/hatred thing going on, but they were part of the same cult in the end.

I didn’t like the giant peps scene at the end, the monster was extremely milquetoast compared to the madness we usually get in AT. Obsidian, for example, had the awesome Larvo design. Nemesis had some INSANE dark magic!!!! I wish they drew more from that episode.

Considering how much Steve Little appears in this special, I do feel bad for Mace (little Peps). He said he would have really benefitted from coaching, but recieved none. He had to re-record his lines 3 times! Judging from his description of events, Wizard City was a hard time for him.

The wizard school did remind me, heavily, of both The Owl House and OK KO. Personally I was hoping AT would offer me something more insane, but I do love both of those shows, and I know Wizard City was on a really tight schedule.

I think they should have spent less time on the school bullying plot, and skipped straight to MURDER.

We did have a cold opening, not on par with Together Again’s at all, but damn!

I am wondering where I would put this in the watch list? I do think it should sit after Obsidian as the third special. The intro scene makes it clear this takes place at the same time as Obsidian!!!

Well, that was it, the last ep of AT for the next few years at least T_T

i think together again was the better finale, definitely. but wizard city feels pretty detached from AT for me, despite the familiar characters it tonally isn’t like the show other than the awesome brutal death scenes. I thought the last 11 minutes was easily the best in the special! Which, honestly, is how it should be, though I do wish it gripped me more. Maybe I’m just not the target audience for Wizard City? It feels like something I would find very compelling if I was a bit younger!
