i'm planning on returning to these soon, to hopefully catch up with the servants released since the time i stopped
but here is a question regarding the artstyle moving on
on the left is the full palette used up to this point, on the right is a reduced palette down to 8 colors, for more "retro" appeal, but also easier to recreate using perler beads (as perler doesn't really have a very wide color selection to choose from)
I can only aspire to the level of spite that Brennan has achieved by creating an entire segment in his own gm talk show about the importance of snacks solely because Aabria and Matt made fun of him for eating almonds
some simple (but plentiful!!!) sprites for you all today. just some outfit swaps! the alpha kids did not get nearly enough cool outfits, so i decided to see what they'd look like with some modified beta kid outfits. some look decent, but others look very nice! i also did it the other way around too, because whynot.
(sorry i think i'll stop with the colored text thing in default text, it was So Cool but it was also really time consuming @_@)

Starting off the new year with I think the most background heavy piece I've ever made!
I think Rainwings and Nightwings would celebrate their traditional holidays together after the events of The brightest night. So this drawing is meant to show their cultures kind of blending together during a very joyful time.
I remember talking about this concept with someone on tumblr a year ago but when I went back through my posts I couldn't for the life of me find it - so if your reading this, I remember you and this drawing stems from that conversation so thank you!
