What does it mean when your first reaction to seeing a genocidal tyrant is "THAT'S MY BABY BOY!!! MY DEADLY SWEETIE PIE!!!"

Yeah that was me when I saw this. Don't know why but all purple bloods (as you can see ALL) ended up as my beloved children. But I shan't excuse the harm they caused (tho I will defend Gamzee*)

I really like the way Kurloz's yes i am calling his tyranny by this name bc I'm his mother /hj horns are shaped here. Same goes for the hair, it's big and fluffy, love it 👌. Also I noticed adults' nails get orange. The act 3 teaser shows what I assume to be an adult and their nails, or should I say claws, are orange. Makes sense since Earth fauna's horns are made of keratin, same material nails are made of.

I wonder if we get to see my boy in his full deadly glory in the future

* - I will argue that Gamzee would not do all this willingly. Now I'm only 3 acts in and my knowledge partially comes from the wiki. It says that Gamzee was shown sober before and wasn't bloodthirsty. When asked about "Gamzee finding Vriska scary" and other stuff Hussie "corrected" that he actually wasn't and honestly, to me it felt like an attempt to take away Gamzee's "redeeming" qualities. What was done to his character is just, ughh

My project for the last like week or so had been these fancestors for my trolls, I’m super proud of this one and how everyone turned out!!

I’ve only ever fully designed two of them and 10 days ago i got a sudden inspiration to just sketch all of them in a frenzy and now we’re here with 7 full ancestor illustrations! As always click for better quality and for the names in the alt text~

The Undertaker, Ivisuf’s ancestor; A local grave digger who’s graveyard is filling with the bodies of mistreated trolls in the hands of the Empress.

The Chambermaid, Roslag’s ancestor; The Empress’ personal maid, her horns have been cut because the Empress doesn’t allow her servants to have taller horns than her.

The Soothsayer, Optima’s ancestor; A well know and talented oracle, her visions are always right. Does work for the empire when asked, mostly keeps to her own devices. Due to her reputation of being right the time she has a doomed vision does not end well for her....

The Announcer, Coiden’s ancestor; An anti-imperialist reporter who has made it his mission to spread the word of the Empress’ wrong doings, especially about how she treats her staff.

The Draftsman, Rifurm’s ancestor; A talented designer and tailor, held captive in the palace to act as the Empress’ personal designer and stylist. Very much does not like his job, but can’t even plot an escape because he’d be killed. He can’t have that happen, his matesprit would be all alone if he died..

The Gumshoe, Zelast’s ancestor; A private legislacerator and investigator. Even though he recieves empire funding sometimes he’s still conducting his own investigation against the empire on behast of rumours of the Empress’ wrong doings.

The Lyncher, Plixil’s ancestor; A high ranking laughssassin on the empire’s payroll. Complains that the Empress has her do too much work which distract her form her duties as a clown church kids recruiter.

Future fanfic chapter preview

The funeral was a solemn event, clowns offered up laughter that shook the very foundation of the big top that the Makara Grand Highblood had built with his own two hands. Kurloz Makara sat on the throne formerly occupied by his ancestor in total silence. The Silence Sect clowns were gathered around the throne, kneeling and praying. The massive coffin was held by five equally massive clowns of the Wrath Sect. His ancestor was Rage Sect, but the bulk of that Sect was out fighting in the war against the Empire. He offered up a quick prayer to Lethra The Ram Skull, the god of the Rage Sect. Once his prayer was done he raised a hand as the coffin was laid in the center of the big top, in front of the throne, which sat eight bone piles high.
