a strange thought - Ben 10 is, in fact, the only one who already has canonical children (14 to be exact) now it's curious to see the reaction of the rest of the HoM to this information

teen!mom Ben & his babies is something I've been wanting to draw for months, but i also just feel tired from thinking about drawing those 14 cute babies lol (maybe some day i will have enough energy for this specific cute thing haha)

but yeah the only thing I keep thinking about is that in HoM AU, if big chill's kids ever be back on earth, Ben will finally have (almost) enough emergency babysitters for them who wouldn't mind that the kids could fly/phase thru stuff/freeze stuff/be big space moth toddlers.

Thats right: Danny (for all obvious reasons) and Jenny (because she has cool buttefly/moth themed transformation and can chill with them in space). Least favorite are: Rex (to his great sadness, but he is just not good with kids) and Jun (because she is surprisingly strict, all those years of dealing with Ray Ray's nonsense made her very adept at wrangling unruly kids lol). Shiv leans back in the rusty chair of the small airport gate, wiping a hand across her forehead, maybe to get the sweat off, maybe to move her hair out of her face. "This heat is fucking unbearable."

Karolina tries not to focus on Shiv's fingers plucking another button loose on her rust brown blouse, or the droplet of sweat that runs down between her breasts. "We should've taken our chances with the engine issues," she says wryly. "If nothing else, we'd be much cooler while we drowned in the atlantic."

Shiv snorts at that, and Karolina bites her lip to tamp down an unbidden feeling of accomplishment. "Ugh, I wish I could just say 'fuck it' to the retreat weekend in Spain. I don't want to be there, my dad probably doesn't want me there, not really, and I'm just gonna be struggling to socialize enough that I don't come across as rude for trying to sit down and get my actual work done. Don't even get me started on the time difference..."

"I can't imagine it's fun getting pulled in all different directions by the level of commitment your father expects," Karolina offers, trying to be sympathetic without coming across as disapproving of the man who pays her salary.

Shiv huffs. "I show up because he asks me to, he's not even going to say thank you, and I'm going to have to make up for whatever shit Ken and Rome pull. I know how this weekend is going to go already." She bangs her phone against the arm of her seat. "And there's not even enough cell signal to answer emails." She laughs softly, even though Karolina can't quite tell what's funny. "How are we not both going insane?"

Karolina flushes a little, definitely from the heat and not from the idea of Shiv actually considering her own routine here. "Believe me, I'm practically in hives."

Shiv smiles and sighs, and the sigh turns into a groan, and she leans her head back over her chair, her eyes closing as Karolina's gaze darts from her messy ponytail to the arc of her neck. "We might as well just ditch the fucking plane... I bet if I gave the pilot a couple hundred he would tell anyone who asked that it's not safe to fly and we need to wait for another one. Let's have a day in Bermuda, huh, splurge on a resort hotel, get the fucking honeymoon suite or whatever."

Karolina tries not to choke on her own spit, managing a curiously arched eyebrow instead. "Without Tom?"

"Oh, don't worry, he'll be too busy sating his appetite for power to miss me," Shiv says, waving a hand. Her engagement ring glitters, and she turns to Karolina with a grin. "I bet you're better at eating pussy anyway."

Karolina knows she's bright red, and there's no saving it. "Hm, well, maybe we should wait for hotel wifi to make that call. I'll have to ask Gerri how many NDAs I would have to sign."

Shiv's laugh is louder than Karolina has ever heard, and when she grabs her hand and pulls her out of her chair, the touch feels like a static shock.

Bad opinion but I’m worried Good Omens season 2 is gonna be… bad

Part of what makes Good Omens good is the way smaller lives are intertwined and collide into the biggest event. Eternal inevitably and the inconceivable whims of the Almighty are portrayed with levity, and the very human (or sometimes not) relationships are taken very seriously

The ineffable is affected by the insignificant because it isn’t insignificant at all

With this element of something cosmically large versus cosmically small gone it just feels like a fanfic. Like a kinda typical fluffy one-shot, not even a crack fic stupid enough to be fun

I have no idea the full plot (and still need to finish the final ep of season 1, though I did get it spoiled amongst Other Things ™️,) but yeah, just looking at that one poll alone where a lot of people’s fav side character season 1 was the Delivery Man who was such a small part of it but his brief characterization and his tragic end (“all part of the plan”) is so memorable and clearly a fan fave…

I dunno, I’m sure these new characters will be lovely and well written and engaging but I’m more invested in the whole of Good Omens and how it tackles spirituality and the Big Questions and intimate relationships VS just Aziraphale’s and Crowley’s fascinating and adorable and frustrating relationship 😶

I have a few questions about your vampire menace AU, if you don't mind. :V

how long do George and Sapnap have to wait between feedings on Dream? People can only donate blood every 60 days or so in order for the donor to not get sick, after all, and if SNF are constantly feeding on Dream, his bone marrow eventually isn't gonna be able to keep up with the demand to constantly make more blood. Are there magical workarounds or supplements Dream can take so that he won't run out of blood?

how much do SNF have to eat per day in order to stay healthy? Do they only subsist on blood, or can they eat other iron-rich foods like spinach, organ meat, beans, eggs, etc. to supplement their diet so they don't have to consume as much blood?

Are there synthetic blood substitutes to help out the local vampire population, or do vampires try to do what SNF are doing and hire a willing live-in bloodbag or two to snack on when they feel peckish? Can they eat animal blood, or does it HAVE to be human blood?

What does feeding normally feel like for Dream? Do SNF have venom that either numbs the pain, makes him woozy and compliant, or even makes it feel good, or does the man just have crazy high pain tolerance?

I love it when you guys assume I wasn't absolutely braindead when I came up with the concept, it actually makes me think about the logistics of the au /pos

Having a living human to feed on is definitely not the norm. Most people don't do it, they allow vampires to feed on them a few times, maybe if they're romantic partners or close friends it's more frequent than that. Still not a normal everyday thing! (I have a particular romantic relationship that has this arrangement going on that I'd like to introduce later though :) ) What Dream and SNF have going is more of a special case, though it is something that a lot of vampires want, because the main advantage is simply fresh blood tasting better. And if they have a particular human, they know what to expect from the taste! It's like going to your favourite restaurant and ordering your favourite item on the menu.

As for Dream, I'm a lot more liberal than what real science probably allows :D The feedings happen once a week, it's not a lot of blood, and the two vampires sometimes ask for "snacks" during the week. He has to take some supplements because with how much he struggles saying no to George and Sapnap (much like in real life) he's probably very close to anemia.

Now, Sapnap and George are not Entirely reliant on eating human blood all the time. I imagine it as vampires still having a diet close to a real human, except they need to eat enough blood to satiate them. The diet gets a lot more iron heavy, and while it is a cliche at this point, bloodied steaks are enough to make them full And satisfy the thirst for blood (for a short time). To keep up with the blood demand, vampires are integrated into the society enough that there are other ways to obtaining blood than going to night clubs and asking random people to feed on. What I mean is blood pockets. Just full on capri sun but it's filled with blood.

Also I remember reading a scientific study that said something along the lines of coconut milk being near identical to human blood, so I just want you to picture George casually sipping on pina colada on a Sunday morning because Dream needs to study for his finals or something.

Animal blood is an option but most vampires are somewhat put off by it. They wouldn’t eat it on its own, but if it’s integrated into the meals they’re fine. (Is it a thing abroad or are we Slavs just weird and put blood into certain foods, like certain types of sausages?)

As of the feedings, there is Some kind of venom/enzyme in the vampire saliva that helps with numbing the pain some. Not entirely, Dream still feels it, but it’s not as bad as it could be when they are actively gentle with him. I wouldn’t say that it’s something that is particularly pleasurable for Dream, and if either of them (though it’s typically Sapnap)  bite too deep, he does complain about his neck hurting for a few days. Their saliva helps the wounds heal faster though, so they lick the wounds clean once they finish before patching him up.

That or you can just imagine he’s a masochist. I don’t judge

azul is used to being outcasted as a kid, so his killing spree starts when he was younger. on the first day of school his parents walked swam with him. but everyone elses parents weren’t there, so when his parents left he was bullied. azul’s hatred started there, he soon found a way to gently injure the students who bullied him so their parents would swim them to school as well. so parents coming with you was normalized and he wouldn’t be bullied for it anymore. but he was also bullied for his appearance so he ended up inking people to leave him alone. 

when he grew up his appearance “got better” and he started contracts with people. due to his sadistic tendencies the consequence if they didn’t fufill said contract was usually severe injury’s or out astung them to make himself feel better.

jade and floyd belong to a family that is a mafia. anyone who disrupts them tend to disappear. since the twins grew up in this environment, they think it’s normal and believe they are in the right. their first kills were with their parents, they had hostages and didn’t get what they wanted. obviously they killed them. and jade and floyd were of “killing age” so they got the honor of killing the hostages. they have trackers on their targets. the twins both found that they are massive sadists on the inside and act how they think is socially acceptable when outside. floyd is a little off but jade has it down.

they definitely smoke when they get older, also carry guns just in case they have a run in with some people that aren’t on their side. they are both so possesive if they get a s/o(you) and floyd prolly sleeps around a lot.
