It’s easy to feel invisible, but if you disappeared so many people would notice and care. The neighbors who always see you walk by, the shop owner or the cashier at your grocery store, the dog next door that likes to bark at you, the person at work or school who’s still working up the courage to talk to you, the friends you think forgot about you when you lost track of each other, the babysitter you had when you were four. You have touched a million lives in perfect little ways. Do not underestimate your importance in this world, you deserve to be here and you are wanted here.

Choosing to be alive is a hard task sometimes, so I'm always so proud of people who choose to live for "weird" reasons.
Like, yes! Live to watch your favourite show for the millionth time! Yes! Live to hear rain against your car windshield! Live to laugh, to cry, to make Naruto proud! Do all of this to live, no matter how strange it is. You enrich this world, and no matter what you are living for, it is good enough. I am so incredibly amazed at your resolve, and your sheer willpower. I hope you never forget that part about your spirit because it is spectacular.

no matter what you're going through, try to tell yourself that you're not a terrible person at least once a day. you're not a terrible person for needing time. you're not a terrible person for establishing boundaries. you're not a terrible person for not being productive every so often. you're not a bad person for changing your mind and realizing you want something different. you're not a terrible person for being where you are or feel what you feel. you're not a terrible person. period.

You wanna know something crazy?
I work for a LGBTQ+/Queer non-profit, I’ve had to sit in on training seminars on how to best support our community, how to create a space that is actually safe for everyone in the community, etc.
You wanna know the one thing that was emphasized by these professionals running these seminars (who are also a part of the community btw)
Telling queer people what their labels for their identity ought to be is extremely harmful.
Gatekeeping the community from other people who are figuring themselves out because of labels is harmful?! Shocker I know, but yes it is.
You know what this means right? It means that:
You don’t get to tell a guy experimenting with queer sex that he’s gay/bi/queer/etc if he ID’s as straight
You don’t get to tell a woman experimenting with queer sex that she’s lesbian/bi/queer/etc. if she ID’s as straight
You don’t get to tell aces who are hetero sexual/Romantic that they don’t belong in queer spaces
You don’t get to blame bi lesbians/m-spec women for creepy cishet men entering wlw spaces to hit on women (in an entitled way) (that’s called misogyny babes)
You don’t get to tell someone they are unlovable/not deserving of a relationship/etc. because of the label they use
You don’t get to tell people that actions invalidate their labels because “actions speak louder than words”
You don’t get to demand to know what labels someone uses because of their actions. (Or you don’t force someone to out themselves)
You don’t apply labels to someone from pure speculation (you could be outing someone and putting them in danger)
You don’t get to tell people their labels are “contradictory” or “don’t make sense” and demand they choose one label over the other
Other Labels cannot harm your own identity, and if you act like it can your wrong and harming the community
And ultimately, It means that according to actual professionals within the lgbtq non-profit space, the exclusionists in the community are wrong and are doing immeasurable harm.
Basically what I’m saying is that everyone is welcome here on my blog, policing identity is harmful, and yes, the exclusionists that told you that your identity is invalid or made fun of you for your identity we’re so fucking wrong.
Everyone who experiences sexual orientation, attraction, gender identity, and gender expression differently belongs within our community.
Gatekeeping only keeps people deserving of services away from the spaces where they can get those services. It keeps them away from peer support. And that’s not good, especially if you know the statistics for self harm and suicide within the community.

There is no shame in having periods of time where you need to be monitored. Where you need to check in with people regularly. Where you need to physically see other people more often. Where you need someone on call. Where you aren’t to be let out of someone’s sight for long if at all. There is no shame in you and your loved ones working to keep you safe. It is so incredibly brave.

Here's 20 realistic reasons not to kill yourself today. Remember, anything that keeps you alive and keeps going is enough.
1. We would miss you. I would miss you.
2. Think of all the ice cream flavours you haven't tried yet, or the food combinations you haven't tried.
3. You can't discover a new favourite song if you're dead
4. Imagine all the funny moments you'd miss, all the pointless celebrity twitter fights or the niche internet drama, all the strangers tripping in the street
5. Imagine proving people wrong and going fuck you, watching all the people who doubted you be completely wrong
6. you'll never have finished decorating your room, or your wardrobe, or your collection, you'll always have something unfinished that's worth finishing
7. You'll never be able to meet your internet friends or heroes in real life
8. Imagine how many cool outfits you would miss out on wearing, how many people would think "damn that's a cool outfit" as you pass them on street
9. Your social media accounts will stay unfinished
10. What if your favourite TV show gets a second series? You'll never know how it ends
11. You'll never get to meet a potential best friend or partner
12. You'll never get to be all the fucking awesome versions of yourself you could be
13. You have games to win and arrogant people to prove wrong
14. You'll never get to watch hour favourite movie again, or realise a crucial detail that adds a whole new meaning to it
15. You never get to see the world become a better place if you're not in it.
16. You never get to try new things with your style, your hair or makeup
17. You never get to get that tattoo, or that piercing, or that really cool piece of clothing
18. think of all the debates you would miss out on winning, the feeling of pride swelling in your chest
19. You miss out on trying a new hobby or a new opportunity
20. Your pets wouldn't understand where you went.
Are these all relatively small things? Yeah. But what's important is that you see tomorrow. You give yourself one day more, go to bed and wake up tomorrow. That's what's important, not what happens in a week or a month or a year, just that you get through today and give yourself another chance.
It's okay if it takes you 10,000 'one more days' to get to 'i can't wait for tomorrow'. It's okay if the suicidal thoughts never leave as long as you wait until later and you stay alive now.
I love you. I care about you. I would miss you. Just give yourself another day.

Saw a post making fun of Asexuals in the year of our Good Vibes 2022 so a reminder:
The A stands for the Asexual community and spectrum (it also represents the Aromantic and Agender communities but I’m Asexual so I’ll be talking about that specifically in this post)
Celibacy is a choice to abstain from sex. Asexuality is a sexuality defined by a lack of sexual attraction to anyone, not by the choice to abstain from sex.
Every asexual person has different feelings on sex (an activity, not an attraction) - some are sex repulsed, some are sex neutral, and some are sex favorable. A physically pleasurable experience is not equal to an attraction to parties involved.
The Asexual community has been around since the dawn of the Queer liberation movement, and Asexual individuals have always existed.
Aphobia is real and has done tangible harm to Asexual people. Listen to and learn from their experiences.
If you make fun of Asexuals and their community jokes (dragons/cakes/cards) you are Aphobic. If you’re Asexual and you make fun of these aspects of your own community or consider them ‘cringe’ you have internalized Aphobia.
Sometimes teenagers and young people will identify as Asexual and change their label later in life. This does not mean that all young people who identify as Asexual will change their minds, nor does it mean that all people who identify as Asexual are young.
Seriously what do you people have against the dragons and cake jokes those are classic and hilarious please deconstruct why you have so much rage for harmless jokes that’s not a healthy response to silliness.
Anyways reblog this post if you’re Asexual, support Asexuals, or really want a dragon.

Here’s some positivity for systems with trauma due to syscourse!
It is very sad that system discourse, which should be a way for systems of all sorts to come together to learn and come to better understandings about one another, is often filled with hate, harassment, ignorance, and vitriol. It’s not fair that so many systems are attacked for simply existing or wanting to talk and learn more about plurality from systems of different backgrounds. Our own system has been traumatized by syscoursers, and we know firsthand what it’s like to be severely harmed by those who claim to engage in civil system discussion. So here’s to all the systems who have been traumatized by syscourse!
Are you an endogenic system who has been harmed by others constantly fakeclaiming you and dismissing your experience? We want to let you know that we see you, we believe you, and we will never call your validity into question! You deserve kindness and gentleness, and the full understanding that you are a real and integral part of the plural community just the way you are!
Are you a system who has been harassed due to simply believing that systems of all origins are real? If so, we are so very sorry that you have faced harassment for allowing other people to define their own experiences. Know that it is actually healthy and beneficial to listen to and support systems of different backgrounds and experiences, and we are so very proud of you!
Are you a traumatized system who has had your trauma history questioned or invalidated due to your syscourse stance? We’d like to remind you that people online cannot and do not know you or your personal history better than you yourself. Your trauma is real, and no amount of people online claiming otherwise can change that! You deserve peace, rest, and recovery, no matter what your views on syscourse are.
Are you a system who was forced to recall your trauma too early due to syscoursers online? If so, we’d like to offer you our deepest condolences. No one should ever be forced to recall painful memories in order to be treated with respect and compassion in online spaces. Please know that the fact that you actually do have trauma does not justify others forcing you to dredge up aspects of your past that you were not ready to come to terms with yet!
Are you a system who became mixed origins or partially traumagenic due to being traumatized by syscourse? If you are, please remember that the trauma you went through is absolutely not your fault. Your system was real even before the trauma you faced, and we truly hope that you can access the support and resources you need in order to begin your healing process.
Are you a system who has been doxxed, harassed, threatened, or encouraged to commit suicide or self harm due to your involvement in syscourse? We’d like to let you know that our heart goes out to you. It’s not fair that you were treated in this way and traumatized due to trying to engage in system discourse. No one, under any circumstances, deserves to be treated in this way! We wish for you comfort and rest surrounded by people who care about you.
Regardless of what your system looks like, how you identify, what your syscourse stance is, or how regularly you engage in syscourse, absolutely no one deserves to be traumatized for what they believe in and how they express themselves. We genuinely wish that every system who has been traumatized by syscourse can find hope, peace, comfort, and recovery in their future. Please know that we care about you, we’re rooting for you, and we’re wishing you the very best in all that you do!

this hasn’t been confirmed 100% but that said it is worth noting apparently some inside people in james somerton’s personal life have said he’s alive
it’s also worth noting people have been pointing out comments in his videos are being deleted still. it may be automated but it’s pointed out that it’s way to inconsistent to be automated and he’s the only person who would have a reason to scour comments for his vids vs like a mod team
[edit: got an ask that says comments are automated but i 100% dont trust it, take my comment statement w a grain of salt either way]
