As a survivor, #suicidepreventionday means a lot to me.

Over this past year, I have learned not only to radically love myself more, but also to love others more. I have made drastic life decisions for my mental health, and as of right now, it's never been better.

I urge you all, silent or vocal sufferers of mental illness, to give yourself endless love and grace, and know that shame and guilt are NOT our masters. WE are the needle through the thread of Life, WE are created from stardust given breath by a miracle's gift, and WE are worthy of love, even in our darkest, most frail moments.

Please talk to someone you trust if you have thoughts of harmimg yourself, and if you're at the end, call the suicide hotline by dialing 988.

You are loved. I hope you have an amazing evening. 💛

With it being National Suicide Prevention Month, I want those of you struggling with depression to know that you do not have to struggle in silence, and there are many tools available to help you. I am privileged to have a partnership with the best wellness center out there, Aspen Valley, which is full of other amazing health practitioners. Many of which are therapists that specialize in depression and anxiety. We also offer other tools to further support your mental health like neurofeedback and oxygen therapy. And if you don't know by now, what you eat significantly impacts your mental health. (That's where I come in). It's why you often hear me say "food becomes mood." Please know that you are not alone. You are supported. You are seen. You are loved. #youmatter

No one can judge you for struggling and if they do they are not friends or professionals. You can complain if you feel your GP or any other professionals are not taking you seriously. It’s hard. The journey will be bumpy and there will be times that things feel utterly hopeless. But things will change. Things will get easier. Please please speak out. Please talk to someone. ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ Look after your friends. Look out for your family. There are signs you can look out for included in this post. If someone comes to you for help, listen to them. Take them seriously. Help guide them to professional help. Please please take the time to ensure that they are seen and heard. It means more than you know. ➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖➖ I’ve been there. I’ve stared into that dark abyss. The support from my family, friends and work colleagues has been vital in me getting the help I needed to start recovering. I know it’s hard and the journey can seem pointless but it’s not.
