Children understand goodness just by instinct, do they?
Because I was thinking of Suji. Like she's hardly 10 I guess. And like the confident little girl that her mother has reared her to be, she's there to choose a father for herself. Because you can't convince me that Narmada had any need or thoughts of a partner at that point. She had a cool job and was obviously nailing as a mother but it was her daughter who wanted a partner for her mother and first of all, a dad.
You know what, I kinda want to know what happened before Suji met Azad, clearly it was not her first interview. And it just clicked with her. That this man, who gets teary hearing about her situation, will come to school to save your ass when you fail, fumble and look like an absolute loser in front of your mother, has to be your father. Because of course my mother is way too cool for any man on this earth.
That little girl was so cool honestly. I need more Suji scenes in the extended OTT version, is what I mean.
