The sand is soft beneath my feet. I’m sure I’ve found a pleasant treat. A metal door swipes across the sky, removing the sun from the blue sky. Trapped in a replica of my town, I watch the sand become dark brown. My longed-for peace won’t be won since I’ve trusted the wrong one. Today is the last day of school and the first official day of Mommy-Daughter Summer Bookclub! My daughter wanted to have a dedicated time for the two of us to discuss the books she is reading and I said, “like a book club”’🤣🤣 I picked WILDSEED WITCH by @momteacherwriter as our first pick. My daughter loves fantasy books with female leads or ANYTHING DRAGONS 🐉!! In WILDSEED WITCH, “Hasani’s post-seventh grade summer to do list is pretty simple: Expand her make up YouTube channel and figure out how to get her parents back together” which my daughter will love! I typically read history or non-fiction science books but for her, I will take this adventure. I really enjoy mythology so it’s not that much of stretch!
