CHAN:

As soon as you'd felt the pain in your back that you'd gone into labour but you were completely alone, Chan was off shooting a SKZ Code episode after you'd shoved him out of the door, promising that the baby wasn't going to come today and yet, you were wrong.

"Fuck, is he here yet?!" You asked the nurse who reluctantly shook her head, sweat was dripping from your forehead as you whimpered a little laying down and trying to hold off on the birth as long as possible. But it was proving damn near impossible since your contractions were close together and you were getting the overwhelming sensation to push, something you desperately didn't want to do without Chan by your side.

"I can't do this without him," You breathed out, staring up at the ceiling, tears welling up as you thought about giving birth alone. You always knew it was a possibility but you never thought it was going to happen, you were supposed to have more time, she wasn't supposed to come yet.

"I'm sorry but we don't have much of a choice, it's time." A doctor told you as you sniffled, you'd been texting all of the boys and their manager non-stop since going into labour but you'd heard nothing from them since and you were starting to worry.

"I can't." You whined out but the doctor smiled weakly.

"You can and you will," You nodded at him, putting your feet into the stir-ups and readying yourself for what was about to come.

"She's beautiful," Chan breathed out as he held his daughter for the first time, his hands gently running over her cheek as you bit back a laugh at the sight of him,

"How was filming?" You giggled looking at your husband who was currently dressed in an inflatable sumo suit that was half deflated and you couldn't even stay mad at him for missing the birth, the important part was that he was there and had come as soon as possible.

"I didn't have time to change...I checked my phone on break and I saw the messages." He admitted, smiling weakly as he sat down on a chair beside your bed, he hated that he'd missed one of the most special things he could have.

"But you're here now, that's okay...and dressed up so it's going to make for an excellent story on her birthdays," You giggled, making sure to snap a photo before he glared at you.

MINHO:

"Why does anyone ever choose to do this?!" You scream at your best friend who was gently wiping you with a wet towel trying to calm you down but nothing was working. You were so pissed off you were doing this alone but you couldn't stay mad at him forever, it wasn't his fault you'd gone into early labour and had to deliver today.

"Millions of women do this alone, you can do this." Your best friend assured you before you groaned, rolling your head back against the seat and shaking your head.

"I can't do this without Minho, I need him." You cried, your head shaking as the doctor shook her head, she knew you needed to push and you had no time for your husband to get on a plane and get here for you.

"You've got us, that's all you need." Your best friend told you as you glared at her, sitting up and getting ready to push for what you were sure was going to be the longest part of your life.

Minho was panting heavily in the doorway, sweat beading down his head as you stared over at him with a small smile playing on your lips.

"Everything okay?"

"I'm good...E-Everything is great," You whispered as he walked further into the room, seeing your son in your arms,

"Minho...Meet your son,"

"He's tiny," He chuckled, looking down at the small baby wrapped in blankets.

"Don't say that ever again," You joked,

"You weren't the one to push him out," You laughed, rolling your head back against the pillows as Minho kissed your cheek softly.

CHANGBIN:

As the hospital hallway stretched endlessly before him, Changbin's footsteps echoed with a hollow rhythm, each step heavy with the weight of regret and sorrow. The door to the hospital room loomed ahead like a gateway to redemption, but he hesitated on the threshold, his resolve crumbling beneath the weight of his guilt. How could he face you after missing the birth of your daughter? How could he look into your eyes and explain away the emptiness that gnawed at his soul?

With a trembling hand, he pushed open the door, the soft click of the latch echoing like a thunderclap in the silent room. And there, amidst the dim glow of fluorescent lights and the steady beep of machines, he beheld a sight that shattered his resolve like glass.

You were lying there holding your daughter against your chest, singing a soft song to her. Tears welled in his eyes as he approached your bedside, his heart aching with the weight of his absence.

"Yn," he whispered, his voice barely a whisper as he reached out to touch your hand.

"I'm so sorry. I'm so, so sorry." You turned to him, your eyes glistening with unshed tears as you took in his dishevelled appearance. For a moment, there was silence between you, heavy with the weight of words left unsaid.

"I missed it, Yn," Changbin choked out, his voice breaking with emotion as he fought to find the right words.

"I missed our daughter's birth, and I'll never forgive myself for it." Your gaze softened, a bittersweet smile tugging at the corners of your lips, you didn't want Changbin to beat himself up about it too much, you hated that he missed it but he was here now.

"You're here now," You said softly, your voice a gentle caress that soothed the ache in his heart.

"That's all that matters."

HYUNJIN:

The night was still, the air thick with anticipation as Hyunjin sat frozen on the couch, his mind reeling with shock and disbelief. All of the boys were with him as they rushed around trying to get his stuff together,

"Hyunjin, we need to go," Jisung urged, his voice tinged with urgency as he paced back and forth in the cramped living room of the hotel all of them were sharing. They were supposed to be here for another few nights doing interviews but it turned out your baby had other plans for his father,

"Yn needs you, man. She needs you now more than ever." Chan told him as they got his bags ready and threw them by the door, but Hyunjin remained rooted to the spot, his body paralyzed by a wave of overwhelming emotion. He had known this day would come, and had prepared himself for the moment when he would become a father. Yet now, faced with the reality of your labour, he found himself unable to move, unable to comprehend the magnitude of the miracle unfolding before him.

"Come on, buddy," Changbin, chimed in, his voice laced with concern as he laid a comforting hand on Hyunjin's shoulder.

"We'll get you there. Just take a deep breath and trust us." He added and Hyunjin stared up at them still in complete shock that all of this was happening and he wasn't there yet.

Hyunjin couldn't even remember how he got here when he was suddenly in the hospital and watching you from the doorway as you spoke to your daughter. It was now that the shock began to lift and Hyunjin felt a heavy weight of guilt crushing him, maybe if he'd been just a little faster he wouldn't have missed the actual birth.

"I'm here, Yn," he whispered, his words a silent vow to never let you down again, your eyes finding his as you beamed up at him, just happy to have him here with your little girl.

JISUNG:

Jisung hated himself for missing this, he'd been in the studio with all of the members, their phones locked away so that none of them would be distracted by them but he'd missed it. He'd missed all of your calls to let him know that you had gone into active labour and were giving birth and he wanted to kick himself.

"Jisung," You breathed out when you noticed how silent he was while holding your daughter, his eyes filled with tears as he looked over at you,

"You should hate me,"

"I don't," You assured him as he bounced his baby girl in his arms, his eyes going back to her, scared that if he looked away too long she would be gone. There was no way you could hate Jisung for missing this, you were pissed off, anyone would be, but you knew that it couldn't have been helped. Management had been the one to take away their phones and you hated them for it.

"Hey little one," He breathed out, putting his finger between your little girl's hand and letting her grip him as tight as she could manage.

"She's strong, just like her daddy," You breathed out as he smiled a little, sitting down beside your bed and asking you everything he could about the birth since he'd missed it.

FELIX:

The distant sound of sirens wailed through the phone as Felix navigated the maze of traffic-choked streets, his heart pounding with a mixture of fear and desperation. On the other end of the line, you gasped and groaned in the throes of labour, your voice strained with the effort of bringing your child into the world.

"I'm trying, baby, I promise," He murmured, his voice tinged with anguish as he fought back tears of frustration.

"Just hold on a little longer, okay? I'll be there as soon as I can." Your breath hitched with each contraction, your grip on the phone tightening as you clung to the lifeline of his voice. In the dimly lit hospital room, surrounded by the steady hum of machines and the whispered encouragement of nurses, you felt a pang of loneliness that cut deep into your soul.

"I need you, Lix," you whispered, your voice barely a whisper as you fought to keep her emotions in check,

"I can't do this alone." Felix's heart clenched at the desperation in your voice, his hands tightening on the steering wheel as he willed his car to move faster.

"I'm right here...Okay? I'll be here the whole time," He tells you through the phone, your heart breaking as you realise you were going to have to deliver without him there in person.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity, he burst through the hospital doors, his breath coming in ragged gasps as he raced to your side. And there, amidst the chaos of the delivery room, he beheld a sight that stole his breath away.

In your arms, nestled against your chest, lay your son, a tiny miracle wrapped in a blanket of love, tears streamed down Felix's cheeks as he approached your bedside.

"We did it," You giggled looking up at him and smiling a little as he leaned down to kiss your forehead, panting heavily from how fast he'd been running from the car to here.

"You did it," He reminded you but you squeezed his hand.

"WE. I couldn't have done it without you on the phone," You told him with a grin.

SEUNGMIN:

The sterile scent of the hospital corridors mingled with the anticipation that hung thick in the air as Seungmin rushed through the double doors. His heart raced with a mix of anxiety and excitement as he navigated the labyrinthine hallways, his mind consumed by thoughts of the precious moment he was about to experience.

He had missed the birth of his son. He'd been on tour when you'd given birth and had caught the first flight home he could get which had taken a whole day to catch, a whole day your son had been on the planet and he hadn't been there with you. Walking into the room, his gaze fell upon you and you were sat nestled in a hospital bed, your eyes heavy with exhaustion yet radiant with the glow of new motherhood.

"Yn," He whispered, his voice choked with emotion as he approached your bedside. Tears welled in his eyes as he reached out to touch your hand, his fingers trembling against your warm skin. You turned to him, your eyes shimmering with unshed tears as you took in his dishevelled appearance. For a moment, there was silence between you, heavy with the weight of words left unsaid.

"I'm so sorry," Seungmin murmured, his voice barely a whisper as he struggled to find the right words, he knew there was nothing he could even begin to say to make up for it.

"I should have been here. I should have been by your side." Your gaze softened, a bittersweet smile tugging at the corners of your lips.

"You're here now," You said softly, your voice a gentle caress that soothed the ache in his heart.

"That's all that matters." With trembling hands, Seungmin reached out to cradle his son for the first time, his heart overflowing with a love so fierce it threatened to consume him.

JEONGIN:

The door opened and you stared over at it, expecting to see your husband waiting for you but it was Chan, covered in sweat and panting heavily with a worried expression on his face,

"Where-"

"He's coming as quick as he can but traffic...he's still an hour out," He breathed out and you shook your head, you'd been refusing to give birth until Jeongin was with you, refusing to let any doctor exam you because you knew you weren't going to be able to do this alone.

"Then we will wait,"

"You can't wait, if you don't push we'll have to perform an emergency c-section," A doctor said from the other side of the room, the same doctor you'd been screaming at that you weren't going to give birth without your husband with you.

"We can just wait, I-I can't do this alone," You whimpered as Chan came around to your bed, moving you a little and sitting behind you, his legs on either side of your body as your back rested against his chest.

"You're not alone, I'm here and pretty soon your son will be too," He whispered to you, but you shook your head.

"I need Jeongin," You cried, tears streaming down your face as you shook your head.

"We can do this, okay?" Chan whispered as you nodded weakly, your feet up on the stir-ups as a doctor rushed in front of you to help you.

"Yn?" Jeongin breathed as he walked into the room, you were lying on the bed holding your son and smiling over at him, you'd been mad at him for missing this but as soon as you'd held your baby it was like everything melted away.

"You want to meet our son?" You giggled, angling your son to look at him and he teared up, walking closer and running his thumb over his tiny cheek.

"I'm sorry-"

"It's okay...You're here now." You told him, kissing his wrist softly and smiling, so in love with him and your little family.

She gets recognized as strong by the main character multiple times and proves it by being one of the most resilient badasses in the entire series. Helps break said main character out of the enemy's prison and takes part in a rebellion against the corrupt prison staff. She stands up to a tyrant who enslaved her country, said tyrant can also turn into a giant dragon. When the highest ranked sumo in the area is abusing class privilege and harassing both the townsfolks and her, she cuts his top knot off in public, effectively ending his career. Then after cutting the sumo's not knot, she uses her great acting skills to win the crowd to her side by playing the innocent maiden and being all "oh, no, what have I done?" (She knew exactly what she did >:) After her country is free, she also gets to enjoy being girly and mellow once everyone is able to relax, and everyone respects that side of her too. All of this at just 22 years of age, what a cool lady

She's a samurai who's great with a sword and she's also trans.

For Luo Binghe:

This boy not just studied the blade, he learned the blade FROM HIS CRUSH. And not only that but he actually has tons of symbolism around BOTH of the swords he wields over the course of the novel. His childhood sword gets broken when he's about to be thrown into his corruption arc, but the pieces are carefully preserved by his crush, and later he rebuilds the sword in question. Once he is fully freed from corrupting influence of his other sword, he uses this one again! It represents his inner goodness that gets broken, but is never really gone. The other is a cursed sword representing toxic masculinity that corrupts his mind and pushes him to harm himself and others. It gets destroyed in the end thru the power of gay love!

His sword is first broken symbolizing his trauma and loss of innocence when he is kicked into hell. Then his other sword, Xin Mo, which he finds in hell, represents toxic masculinity and he breaks it at the climax of the novel. It can also dimension travel and is evil.

Binghe has two different songs in this book and a complicated relationship with both of them. First there is Zhen Yang which breaks at a dramatic moment and is mourned over by his teacher/love interest "like a grieving widow". And then there's Xin Mo! His "golden finger". The most ridiculously overpowered sword in the world, it can even cut rifts in the fabric of the world. It also runs on sex and violence and drives him to madness which can only be cured by the aforementioned love interest sacrificing himself... or by sex!

AN: Mostly self-indulgent because my friend and I adore a girl dad moment. Stupid dad moments I live for alongside dark moments. Since it's self-indulgent it's a female reader 😅 Hope you can still enjoy it! I seriously only got inspo because of the stupid Leon fairy image. Reading might be a little choppy due to the fact I kinda skimmed proofreading it so sorry if there's any mistakes!

“Mommy!” Was all you could hear. Every single damned second of your existence was hearing “Mommy! Mommy! Mommy!” Were kids always this annoying? When Leon said he had a daughter, you didn’t expect such a cute, yet bothersome kid! You’ll give it to her, she’s cute! Daddy’s blue eyes and his cute moles! Stubborn personality, too.

“Dani, please, honey.” You sighed. She was four! Did you expect a four-year-old to stop? She certainly didn’t stop tugging on your pants. Pulling you along into the living room. Toys scattered across the floor. And a poor Elsa doll with its head ripped out. That was cold, Dani, freezing cold… The ice queen couldn’t play her own game.

Daniella pulled you straight into the living room. Sumo laying on the couch. Old pupper, poor girl is gonna cry when he’s gone. Always making slobbering on the ground. What was it Leon said? He found the stray dog years ago, and wanted to give it a home. A good boy AND good man. Hope Daniella turns out just like the two of them.

“Good boy.” You said, giving the old dog a pet. The bloodhound replying with a grunt. Your attention turned towards the small toddler pointing towards the TV. Bouncing up and down as the sequence to Let It Go started. Elsa walking up that snowy path, and it’s going to make your head explode. You heard it on the radio, on Leon’s phone when Daniella was given it, and constantly on your TV. Why haven’t your ears started to bleed yet?

Only if Leon was here to deal with it. You’re a package deal with him. He kicks ass, and you suffer with his toddler. At least she didn’t throw fits often. That’s a good part, and plus… Who doesn’t love a hot dad moment too? A DILF moment? All the girls nowadays love a DILF, bonus points if he’s got some bank and a nice car. The only thing they don’t tell you is that he’s a softie who spoils his daughter too often. How are you supposed to humble her? Please don’t turn out to be a bitch, Daniella. You’re praying to God on that one, even if he might not exist. Someone’s gotta answer that pray in good faith.

“Mommy! You gotta sing with me! We gon’ sing together!” Danielle chirped, throwing her hands up. Singing? Well, that’s iffy… You ain’t exactly a Disney Princess, or are you? Leon, you brainwashed your kid—Leon number two!

You were oblivious to the door opening, revealing the man himself. Basically a Disney prince in the making, watching his princess and lover. Arms crossed as he watched the scene. Brought a tear to his eye that his baby girl was gonna dance and sing her heart out. A quick drive and check for closings, your next date in the planning. Drive-in, here we come! You nervously trying to not sing, while the toddler was beginning to get fussy. Noticing this, he sighed, shaking his head Daddy to the rescue, again.

Walking off, you noticed the footsteps. Wait, he was there? Damn, you didn’t even notice.

“Hey, Dani, why don’t you give mommy a sec?” You offered, a shaky smile on her face. Please, Danielle, spare mommy a little second! It’ll only be to talk to daddy! C’mon, don’t you love daddy, Dani?

Danielle whined, but you already took it as a yes. Hearing her cry her poor heart out. Dance and sing with her! It’s only the sixth time today! Running after you with her hands out.

“But why!? Mom!? MOM!!” Why? Uh, when you basically never actually parented, you kind of don’t want to deal with the screaming kid! Who wants to deal with a screaming kid, anyway!? Hoping, praying that she’ll turn out ok… Not a spoiled teenage girl or one of those girls who want Drunk Elephant at nine.

Breathing a sigh of relief as you slammed the door shut and locked it tight. Hearing the door knob be turned and struggle with. The horrifying sight of tiny little fingers coming through the bottom of the door, too. A small demon coming for you. Get the holy water and bible, and the Priest from down the street. Poor Leon will go flying across the room because the poor girl doesn’t wanna let go of her poor dad.

“Uh…” The scene before you as you turned your head was certainly something. Leon in the process of tying a pink dress to himself. Sparkles and all. Fairy wings attached, and a stupid wand he stole from Danielle. If you had something to drop, now was your chance.

Leon offered an awkward smile, before motioning you over. Of course, you walked to help him, he’s struggling! He struggles to remember his meds, his back brace, and to finally relax! Helping him button the back of the dress together.

“You’re so stupid for this. I have to take a photo, c’mon.” A laugh had burst from your lips as you took a few steps back. The male giving a twirl with the ending being a hip popped out. Wand loosely hanging in his hand. A grown ass man trying to impress and love his daughter. How come he got it so easily?

Getting make-up on his face, daughter putting those cheap hair strand dye powder things in his hair, messily painting his nails. Stickers on his motorcycle and helmet. As he said, he was a ‘girlboss’. You doubt he truly knew the actual meaning, but you’d let him have his fun.

The screams of the toddler outside the door brought you away from the dress. Banging on the door and those demon fingers coming from the bottom of the door again. Making you glance towards the dressed up dad. Hand reaching for the door lock, with a raised eyebrow still.

“I only have one question, then I open the door.” Holding a finger up, you motioned towards the dress. “Where’d you get this and how much is this?”

“Honey, that’s two questions, you said one.” That stupid cheeky smirk came across his face as he said that. His arms crossed as he batted his eyelashes and pursed his lips. Before letting out a chuckle, the reply following afterwards, “eBay, who doesn’t use it these days?”

“eBay? Please tell me you’re joking. Tell me it’s at least new.” Ok, you had to admit that if he bought it new, you’d be surprised. If he didn’t, you’ll be pretty disgusted. Who knows who worn that? You’ve seen the things he buys from eBay, used parts for a motorcycle. What if he got used clothes? Please, Leon, you have brain cells. Don’t do your daughter like that!

The man shrugged, rubbing the back of his neck. “Nah, just new. What? Do you think I’m that cheap? C’mon… I’m not that bad.” Thanks, Leon. At least you didn’t cheap out on something. Well, kind of did.

“Thank the heavens for that, seriously. Old men and eBay are something else, Leon.” Shaking your head for the final time, at least you hoped. Finally doing the lock and opening the door to reveal… That crying demon turn from a fussy fit into a look of shock at her dad.

“Daddy? How’d you get here? Magic!?” She gasped, jumping up and down. Was daddy actually a magical pink princess!? Making the man give out a chuckle, before a clearing of his throat. Did he have to every single time? Maybe his old age was getting up to him.

He was starting to develop the slightest of crow’s feet. His bones and muscles aching from work more often. A few gray hairs here and there. Fat growing on him, even if he continued to work out. Often finding him coming home from a jog covered in sweat. Lifting weights and training his legs and flexibility. Means he can stay home more frequently, though, right?

Before the poor man could say anything, he got tackled. Well, at least his leg did. Small toddler clasping onto his leg like a koala. Not even letting go as Leon struggled to walk. The girl babbling on about how her daddy was magical. For once, Danielle was right, Leon was pretty magical.

“Daddy! Tell me your secrets! How do you get so pwetty? Did the princesses come and give you a makeover? Or a fairy?”

Leon chuckled, leaning down with a pop from his back. A small grunt coming from his lips as he crouched down. Danielle pulling away with wide eyes, face full of wonder. Only if Leon could say he had wonder about life just like her. Bringing the child into his arms.

“Maybe I can tell you…” His daughter’s eyes filled with joy, before being shushed by a lip. Not so fast, patience, Dani. “If you beat me in a singing AND dancing competition!”

It was so fast that they sped off, making you stumble after them. At least you didn’t have to dance! But, could’ve at least walked you like a gentleman! What’ll Leon do if you even get married? Fly off into the water on a motorcycle? Arrive down from the ‘heavens’ in a pretty pink dress? Show up in his pajamas? A sigh came from your lips as you walked after the two.

Watching the two dance and sing to Let It Go like nobody’s business. Say that to the neighbors when they file a noise compliant. Cause the dog was barking, alongside the giggles from Danielle. Dog probably just wanted to sleep. Had to admit, you liked it. They both were having fun, even making you nod your head. Leon swinging around his own daughter while singing lyrics from heart. They shared more in common than you’d like to admit. Disney addicts.

Leon laughed, watching as Danielle whined as the song ended. Rushing towards the remote, giving him a second to you. Moving to stand beside you with his arm around your shoulders. Pulling you against him, a kiss to your temple and lips.

“C’mon, don’t be a sourpuss. Dance with us, at least with me.” He purred, a dopey smile on his face. Dimples showing as he tried to sway you into a dance. Gently pulling you into the middle of the living room. His hand trailing from your shoulder, down your back, and around your waist. The other taking your hand and squeezing it in his own. Much more human compared to his, and he loved it. Hips swaying as he successfully forced you to dance with him. Swinging you around slowly but surely in a dance.

Danielle turned around, looking up at her two parents slow dancing. Seeing that small smile on your face, and a blush, too. Disney movie… Belle and the Beast!

“Daddy…” Her voice had drawn the attention of the brunette, making him look down at her. Still gently swaying with you in his arms. “Yes, sugarplum?” He asked, glancing back at her.

“Why are you dancing so slow?” Really, Danielle? All the movies and shows you watched were slow! Lovey-dovey! Kids… Sometimes they just asked some of the stupidest questions. All in good faith, however.

“Well, when mommy and daddy love each oth—” Was how he started before a “BLEH!” Danielle waving her hands and covering her eyes. “Ewwww! Nonono!” She began to explain, sadly making the short-lived swaying stop.

Leon whispered in your ear, “I got this, you go take a nap. Daddy saved another princess again.” Followed with a kiss, and a wink. “Talk later, honeybun.” Taking the valiant effort of sitting down in front of his daughter. The girl falling into his lap, fingers tugging at his dress. Sumo jumpinf off of the couch to lick her face. Babbling on about Mickey Mouse and Minnie? He seemed more than happy to listen, tickling the girl. Happy squeals and “Stop!” repeatedly filling the air.

Good on you, Leon. You finished your job… Rescue mission done. Princess? Saved.

After an hour of entertaining his daughter, putting her to bed with a kiss to the forehead. Don’t let the bedbugs bite, Danielle. Joining his lover in bed, body sinking into the mattress. Arm curled up around you. Holding his head up with a hand, peppering kisses to your neck.

“So… Since she’s to bed. I was thinking we could talk about later.” Nuzzling his face into your neck. Gods, it made you wish he trimmed a bit more. Stubble rubbing against you and all. “First, the fact that our kid tore Elsa's head off. Second, Drive-in is open on the weekend, wondering if you’d want to do something simple.” He chuckled.

Leon waited with bated breath, leaning over your body. Listening to you breathe, before a huff came out your lips.

“I’m up for it, but what about Danielle?” You questioned, doubting he planned that far ahead. He never made plans that far ahead. Turning your head to be met with a kiss. “Claire, she said she’s fine with watching Danielle with Sherry. Don’t worry, babe, they got this. Even a pretty princess like you needs a break.”

He rolled over on top of you, hands beside your head, staring down at you. A smirk playing at his lips as he leaned down, kissing at your neck. Hands gently tipping your head back as he kissed at it. Body pressed against yours.

"Perhaps you'll let me make this break more enjoyable? A beast like me constantly needs something to eat, and it certainly ain't blood I'm looking for."

He can’t help but feast on such a beauty. Even a beast like him deserves a grand meal once in their lives. Drunk on your love like him a year ago to whiskey and liquor alike. Happy to have you, happy to stay for awhile.

Adopting a Dog Together

Fandom: Detroit Become Human

Character(s): Hank Anderson

Type of Request: Winter NPC Event Thingy

Note(s): Did a bit of researching for dog breeds for this one. But I love the idea of getting Sumo a friend just because Hank and Connor are probably busy a lot of the time so the poor doggo probably gets lonely.

"I can't believe you convinced me to do this. You and that damn android," Hank grumbles as he walks around the adoption center with you, looking at the various animals as you smile brightly.

"It was actually pretty easy. Besides, you know Sumo is getting older. He could use a friend when you and Connor are busy," you reply and Hank sighs. That was your reasoning when you brought the idea up in the first place and Connor had easily backed you up. He even looked up a list of breeds of dogs that would be really good to have. Hank had to stop Connor when he mentioned dogs that are good with kids.

"You're assuming that Sumo will get along with another dog," Hank states but you both know that Sumo would be fine. He's gone to the dog park with you and played with other dogs there with no issue.

You continue your light bantering with Hank as you look over the list of dogs. You already made an appointment for a specific dog, but you still wanted to see what other dogs might be good just in case.

There was plenty of research that went into this before you got there. And even though you'd love nothing more than to take every puppy there, all three of you are way too busy for a puppy. A middle-aged dog seemed perfect.

"Wonder if we can post some of these flyers for the older dogs around the station." You hear Hank mutter to himself and that made you smile a bit.

It was time for you and Hank to go meet the dog. Connor was very pouty earlier when he got called in because he wanted to see the dogs too. But it's you and Hank as you hear the barking of the dog before seeing it.

"Hey, maybe it'll be a better guard dog than Sumo," you tease Hank and he rolls his eyes. The breed is apparently a good watch dog, which would be good to have since Sumo is friendly when people break into the house apparently (considering nothing really happened when Connor had broken in before).

There's definitely a bit of excitement between you and even Hank despite him trying to seem gruff about the idea. The door opens and the very handsome Bracco Italiano dog walks in. It's a bit curious with you and Hank in the room before it walks over to sniff around a bit.

"Hank, I love him," you tell the older man next to you, who chuckles. The dog seems to understand the praise, or at least your tone of voice, as it walks over and sits in front of you, allowing you to give him some good pets.

"Yeah, he's a good boy," Hank replies and pets the dog too. You both had thought you'd have to look through a few more dogs before you found the one, but like with you and Hank, it was also love at first sight with this dog.

yuuji itadori, nobara kugisaki, nanamin, aoi todo, higuruma, makin zenin, toge inumaki, yuki tsukumo, ijichi, miguel odoul, kirara hoshi, jogo, kusakabe, nitta, takaba, tall idol takada, tsumiki fushiguro, utahime iori, that sumo guy & that other guy with the sumo guy (i think)

this is a packed category. itadori & kugisaki are right on the cusp of "insane about them" and "love them a lot a lot a lot" ... tsumiki should be ranked a little higher. mimiko and nanako were not included in this template, but they would go here.

3. good, in a literary sense:

5. induces a complicated, quiet rage in me. so incredibly infuriating, yet also boring. meant to be sympathetic, yet i have no sympathy. i will not judge you for how you dealt with insurmountable adversity, but i do not like you:

this category was created specifically for mechamaru. threw ui ui in here too bc why tf not, he fits (most) of the criteria.

6. don't care:

panda, hana/angel, noritoshi kamo (the younger), anime alcoholic zenin what's his name, dagon, nishimiya, principal gakuganji, plane hair girl, sky girl (ume? uro?)

listen..... don't shoot me. in canon....they are boring to me. i don't care about them. i don't care about their backstories, I don't care about their motivations. they are literally taking up space on my page/screen that could be dedicated to someone i give a fuck about. two of them made it out of the bottom tier by being hot.

7. i want to dip them in acid, coat them in pop rocks, then dip them in lava repeatedly:

Another LU thought:

Time, Twilight and Wild are Honorary Gorons

Let’s start with the ace of the chain: Wild. He got to prove himself to the Gorons numerous times, by calming Vah Rudania, doing side quests and shrine quests (like the gut check challenge). Not to mention he was already an honorary member of the tribe 100 years ago through his friendship with Darunia. He definitely visits Yunobo and the boys at Death Mountain to vibe and eat rock roasts.

[Training at Death mountain in Twi’s era]

Darbus: I think we should take a break for lunch.

Wild: [excitedly] Are we having rock roast?

Dangoro: What’s that?

Wild: [running off] A really good dish made from rocks. Sit tight you two, I’ll make some!

Darbus: ...Can Hylians eat rocks?

Twilight: We can’t, but that doesn’t stop him.

Twilight’s approach to making friends with the sentient rocks was unconventional in a traditional sense. Typically when trying to get on someone’s good side you don’t go on a rampage through their home fighting and throwing around all their friends. But the Gorons are tough so in this case that worked, and after Twilight beat one of the Goron’s most respected members he earned their trust and was permitted entrance into their sacred mines.

[After Twilight told the story of how he climbed Death mountain]

Warriors: Is there a Goron in your era you haven’t assaulted?

Twilight: They were fair fights.

Wind: Like hell they were, you used iron boots that’s cheating!

Twilight: ...

Twilight: Well, I haven’t fought any of the kids or elderly.

The chain: ( ಠ_ಠ)

After saving their patriarch and helping them reconnect with the people at Kakariko they would’ve definitely considered Twi as one of them. I can imagine him taking trips to Death Mountain post TP to train with the Gorons, chuck rocks around, rock climb and of course sumo wrestle.

Ooh what if Twi teaches Wild sumo so that they could pass it to the Gorons in his era. The sport must have died out by that time since I don’t think it comes up in BotW. I imagine that Time already knows it. Since it was stated to be something of a tradition for them and his era is less than 200 years behind Twi’s.

Speaking of Time, during his adventure he got really close with the Gorons, although he didn’t do any official challenges like Wild (I think) or brute force his way through their territory like Twi. He just kind of showed up as a kid, solved their problems and then did it again 7 years later.

In the child timeline the adult part of OoT means diddly squat, but I’m pretty sure a little kid strolling in and doing what grown ass members of your tribe couldn’t would be enough for you to respect him. Plus Time has Biggoron’s sword in LU, meaning he did that side quest for the master craftsman. If that isn’t one brother helping another then I don’t know what to tell you.

Going over now to LU, the three of them would spearhead the shenaniganery that would ensue if the chain were ever let loose in the Eldin region (in any era). Wild would be climbing around all over the place making friends and Twilight wouldn’t resist a few friendly sporting matches and yeeting half the population off the mountain.

Also I’m thinking that the chain would meet up after an afternoon of doing their own thing only to walk in on Time winning an arm wrestling match with a really strong Goron. Whether he’s using the golden gauntlets or not doesn’t affect how hyped the group are seeing their leader kicking ass with the biggest grin on his face.

Also i hc that he has a very low tolerance to alcohol

I need to disagree on this point, babygirl. Kyojuro is so traditional Japanese who enjoys watching Sumo and Kabuki/Noh plays that I do believe that he would enjoy a cup of sake with his food and with friends. But he doesn’t and I solely believe the reason why he does not drink has to do mainly because of his father Shinjuro.

He saw the negative effects of alcohol at a very early age. Even if Kyojuro would never admit it, he is traumatized by that and the neglect and bad temper of his father and his alcoholism. Additional to the death of his mother Ruka.

And to the point with his low tolerance. I am not sure. Someone who eats so heartily and is so well trained has actually a higher tolerance (that’s of course not always the case). Also genetics play a huge role and Shinjuro can surely drink a lot. Of course this is what I headcanon. That doesn't have to be the case for everyone. ♥️

What’s his relationship with the gods boy he before and after he allies with Humanity and what Humanity thinks of him

-If you were to say the name Y/N anywhere in Valhalla, ever single god, goddess, demon, Valkyrie and a good hunk of the humans would know who you’re talking about.

-Professional, strong, loyal, follows orders to a T, without fail, the perfect example of a servant.

-You were no mere servant however, you were the personal butler of Thor himself, requested specifically by the Thunder God, as you didn’t annoy him like his previous servants. You were quiet, respectful, but also very strong.

-You would spar with your Lord Thor whenever he wished for it, as you were one of the few who would handle his strength without being seriously injured as well as give him the challenge and exercise he wanted as well.

-You respected Loki and Odin as well, holding them as equals to your own lord, but the one person’s orders you follow is Thor and Thor alone.

-When Ragnarok was announced, you stood beside your master, hearing the gods desire to wipe out humanity, seemingly on a whim.

-When asked if anyone opposed, everyone was stunned when you stepped forward, “I do.”

-Nobody could believe that you of all people would stand against the gods, stand against you own lord, even Thor himself was surprised, but not upset, by your declaration.

-When Zeus demanded an explanation behind your reasoning, you called many of the gods out, “You are the ones who created humans, but you see them as mere playthings, many of you who torture so cruelly. -While there was nothing but truth in your harsh words, many were still furious at you, for your disrespect to them.

-You immediately bowed to Thor, apologizing to him, but you were going to fight for humanity, but he was only one of the few gods who wasn’t upset with you, he was more curious about what you were going to do.

-You approached Brunnhilde, volunteering and she immediately accepted you, becoming the first Einherjar for humanity.

-You watched Thor’s battle with Lu Bu and you smiled softly, seeing the joy on Thor’s face, fighting such a strong opponent.

-When he returned backstage, he saw you and patted your shoulder, “I now see why you wanted to protect them.” His words did surprise you a bit, but you didn’t have much time to think yourself, as you were preparing for your own battle, once the stadium was fixed.

-The other human fighters were amazed by you, Kojiro was so warm and friendly with you, Adam was polite with you but he could tell that you weren’t human, you only looked like a human.

-Jack was the same way, seeing the colors within you, you had such a blazing color of determination within you that it was breathtaking!

-Raiden could almost immediately tell that you were strong, wanting to have a sumo match with you, but you politely declined, as you had to fight next, but he wasn’t bothered.

-You were fighting against an animal god, Gary (I’m lazy and don’t want to think), who could call upon the strengths of various animals to help him fight (forgive me, I’m lazy and didn’t want to think too hard, and this was one of the moments in the series that made me laugh so hard!)

-Gary shouted at you, while you looked pristine in your suit, looking almost bored, many other gods jeering at you as while.

-The humans were all behind you, as they heard that you were the first to stand up for them.

-Gary summoned his strongest animals, auras of each one surrounding him, “Panther! Falcon! Rhino! Buffalo! Lion!!” charging up a powerful attack to hit you with.

-Many humans screamed out in worry for you, telling you to move as his punch hit you dead center of the chest, a cloud of dust forming from the force of the punch.

-Gary gawked as you didn’t even flinch, leaping back from you as you dusted off your suit, “Was that all?”

-Thor, who was sitting with Odin and Loki, smiled, looking amused, while Odin and Loki could tell that you were way stronger than they originally thought.

-Gary pointed a finger at you, “How did you withstand the strongest animals I have?!”

-You smiled softly, straightened your tie before you immediately charged at him.

-To the untrained eye, it looked like you had vanished, but to other warriors, you were insanely fast, your eyes glowing bright red, as you delivered a single punch, taking his head clean off.

-Jaws dropped all around the stadium, humans stunned that you defeated a god so easily, as many thought you were a human, or even a demi-god, the same with the gods, who had no idea you were so powerful.

-Heimdall was gawking before he shouted in amazement, “How did you do that?!”

-Your eyes closed as you smiled softly, holding up your hand, your thumb and index finger held up to show the difference in power between you and Gary, “I gave him my best attack in respect to his own power. He could have done more damage to me, had he been just a bit stronger.”

-The humans cheered loudly for you, celebrating their first win as you returned backstage.

-Thor met you, smiling as the two of you shook hands, “Why didn’t you tell them it was because you are a dragonoid?”

-You chuckled, as he was the only person who knew that little secret about you, “And ruin the surprise? Perish the thought, my Lord Thor.” Your words made him chuckle as well.

-As the two of you parted you spoke, “I shall return to my post by your side following the completion of this tournament, my Lord.”

-Thor nodded, “Good, I want to have a serious match with you. That human- no, Lu Bu, got my blood pumping.”

-You merely nodded, as if his order was something simple like fetching the mail, your hand over your chest, “As you wish.” And you parted, both going to watch the remaining matches on your respective sides.
