Alright, now for the School!

Obviously it’s going to work like a regular school, starting July 1st (First day of Autumn) and ending March 56th (Last day of Spring). Then there is a Summer Camp starting April 28th, ending June 28th. But, some children can stay all year round.

It was created a few centuries before the initial timeline by a Child of Darkness, Arielle Morales, a Spanish woman, recognized by the spirits and given assistance by them for the school.

For the children, the school presents itself as whatever it needs to, to get them there safely. Maybe a just a regular school, maybe a boarding school, or a school for “problem children” that need help, or maybe even a private school. But, sometimes it doesn’t always work out, and the Spirits need to intervene.

Once the children get there successfully, they are shown around. The building are as such:

The main school, Solstice Academy.

Then you have the Dorms, One for each season, Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter and even a one for “unclaimed” children. (They will eventually create a space for Sun/Light and Moon/Dark children.

Then we have the recreational spaces for developing powers.

The Greenhouse, the regular Garden, the Swimming Pool (One indoor and outdoor) and the Gym.

Everything is surrounded by a forest, which there are paths and places in there where kids can get some peace.

The school mainly functions like a Middle or High school but they do have lower classes for younger siblings of claimed or unclaimed children.

Once the child is set in the Unclaimed Dormitory, they stay there till that Friday when there is a big gathering after dinner and they are claimed, then sent to the associated dorm.

The next day, they get to choose a pet of their Spirit parent. This is an animal that the Spirit favors and the child will be able to speak to them through their mind. All children can speak to all animals, but they do it best with their Signature Animal.

Spring Animals:

Bunnies, Wren and Snakes

Summer Animals:

Hawks, Deer and Ferrets

Autumn Animals:

Foxes, Cats and Owls

Winter Animals:

Wolves, Raccoons and Ravens

And that’s most of it for the School! Next I’ll be showing my characters.

Honestly, Danny is having such a good time right now. He gets to travel with Ellie, explore space, just have fun. Plus his secondary protector-instincts are having soothed despite him not technically doing any hero-ing anymore. Really his sister had the right idea when she decided she wanted to become a doctor, this is honestly a blast.

And if someone does end up passing away, well, Ellie is always happy to help soothe their spirit and guide them to the Realms where they can reach their respective afterlife. Or become a ghost. 

They are completely oblivious to the fact that there are now legends and entire temples dedicated to them now. Apparently accidental ascension is in fact a thing, as Dan later laughs at them about.
