suna looks up at you, “so?”

“you come here often?” you grin.

he gives you an unimpressed look. you still notice the way the corner his lips quirked up a little. (your pride swells).

“you know i work here.” he leans against the counter.

you bounce on your feet, lips pursing in faux confusion.

“what a coincidence.” you smile, leaning closer to him. “my favorite person works here.”

he leans forward when you say that, a smirk growing on his lips. “really?”

“yup.” you laugh.

“what about you?” he yawns.

you tilt your head in confusion.

“you come here often?” he shoots back, smirk becoming teasing when you turn away.

you hide your smile behind your hand when you look back at him.

“i frequent this place.” you put your hands on your hips.

“how interesting,” he sighs, “my favorite person also frequents this place.”

you cross your arms over the counter, a smile blooming in your lips.

you lean forward. “do they now?”

and suna nods, a genuine smile on his lips. “yeah. they come here every morning before their first class.”

“i bet they’re happy there’s barely any customers,” you lean up, “they love having you all to themselves.”

“what a coincidence.” he leans closer to you. “i love having you all to myself, too.”

you smile, slowly leaning towards him. suna inches his face closer to yours.

“i have to ask you something very important, though.”

you get goosebumps when his breath fans your lips. you can practically feed his lips against your. you inch your face closer to his.

he pulls away, cocky smirk on his lips. “what are you gonna order?”

you have to stop yourself from toppling over the counter. you blink at him. he laughs when he sees your bewildered expression.

“what?” you squeak.

suna taps the sharpie against the plastic cup in his hand. “coffee. you gonna have your usual?”

you blink at him, frowning. “will it be free if i kiss you?”

“no.”

you click your tongue. “fine.”

“i still wanna cash in that kiss, though.”

TUESDAY

a/n: my titles for these event requests are so boring i’m sorry lmaoo,, i hope you enjoy this love 🤍

participate in my 300 event here!

it was routinely for rin to visit the coffee shop nearby his school every tuesday afternoon. the coffee itself was pretty okay, and the vibe of the place was nice, but his frequency had nothing to do with the shop.

he happened the stumble in one day, merely trying to avoid the rain, taking a seat to pass the time. as he was looking around the place, he noticed you a couple tables away. he noticed how enveloped you were by whatever it was you were doing on your laptop, the cute little pink dress you were wearing and how perfectly you fit into the scenery around you.

as the rain stopped, rin decided he would grab a cup of coffee instead, developing a sudden interest to stay at the shop. he didn’t leave until about an hour and a half later, or more accurately, two minutes after you left.

he visited at the same time the next day, but to his disappointment, you weren’t there. testing out everyday of that first week, he was starting to lose hope, mind running through the possibility that you were a one-time visiter, and he’d perhaps never see you again. luckily enough, he thought it’d be worthwhile to give tuesday another try. grateful he did, he found you again in the very same spot, but he made no effort to speak to you. he wasn’t sure he’d ever build up the courage to talk to you, but still, he made it habitual to go every week.

a couple months since he found the shop, and he notices you aren’t there one day. rin decides to grab a coffee anyway, hoping you may be running late. when you don’t show after ten minutes, he readies himself to leave, a little worried he might have lost his opportunity. turning the corner outside the shop, he bumps into... you? you don’t look like you’re headed inside though, no you’ve got a little smirk on your face.

“i knew it, you’ve been coming here because of me, haven’t you?” you tease.

he huffs, trying to deflect your accusation, “that’s a little egotistical don’t you think?”

“you normally stay until five pm every single tuesday. the one day i’m there, you leave within ten minutes?” you cross your arms, “it’s true.”

he narrows his eyes, “still wouldn’t say that, but whatever.”

“listen,” your voice is quiet, sweeter now than when you first spoke, “let’s make next week a date, okay?”

rin’s eyes go wide in shock, he certainly didn’t know what to expect, but it wasn’t this.

“i’ll take that as a yes,” you smile at him gently, before turning away.

he stands silently on the sideway, passer-bys walking around him as he tries to process your words. he isn’t entirely sure what just happened.

all rin knows is that he can’t wait for next tuesday.
