I wanted to do some TDP fanart and had to stop myself before I just drew Viren or Aaravos again, so I went with homegirl who has what is, imo, one of the best character designs in the show.

Black women w/ gold motifs = me, sold, you should see how I reacted to Mel in Arcane. :')

I initially wanted to paint this, as the sketch was so pretty...but it was a double-edged sword. ;-; Nothing I did with colour brought it up to the standards of the sketch, and so it's been sitting in my WIPs for months, begging for liberation. ;-; Eventually decided to just go my usual cel-shading route and now I have a pretty Janai. ♥

"Did you really need to start with the 'How may I serve you line?' Oh, and let's not forget you saying, I never lie!" You exclaimed, running your hand through your cedar-brown hair.

A slight laugh erupted from the man you were accusing.

"I don’t quite understand why you are so... well pressed on this matter. I was also telling the truth; I do not lie." 

The midnight blue-skinned elf explained, pushing back some of his long white hair behind his ear.

"Ha.. never-mind Aaravos. Are you sure this is going to work? He seems, well, resistant." You finally admitted it, plopping yourself down on the red chair you have gotten so used to.

Aaravos slowly walked over to you, placing his hand on your cheek and caressing the sun-ray-like feature slightly glowing on your toned skin.

"Don’t you trust me?"

His deep voice rumbled as his lips slowly formed into a smirk.

"Of course I do, but there's no proof that this little experiment will work." 

You might have exaggerated when you said an experiment; after all, Viren is a human, but how does Aaravos think this will work?

"Is that so? Either way, you won't back out of this Y/N. You’re too curious to see how this will play out." 

He commented, slowly extracting his hand from your face.

As a sun-fire elf, you usually stand your ground and don’t let others sway you. That all changed once you entered this, well, prison with Aaravos. You find yourself yielding to him whenever he wants your assistance.

"Tch, well, you aren’t entirely wrong, I suppose. I swear, my love, if this ends up creating more chaos, I'll—"

"Shh… Make no mistake, this will work beautifully."

Aaravos interrupted, placing his finger over your lips.
