Added two new tools to the arsenal, the scangrip sunmatch 3 and the Elcometer 311. The elcometer measures paint thickness to give a good idea on how much material is available on the vehicle and how much can be removed to restore the paint. The sunmatch 3 is a very powerful handheld flashlight with a wide range of different color temps to help with different paint colors, brightness settings and, most important, has an extremely high CRI, or color rendering index. This means what you see is what you get. No more pulling a car out of the garage thinking it looks amazing and the sun, completely disagreeing with you. This is the best light to check your work with, as well as just being very bright and versatile to me as a detailer. Thought it would be appropriate to purchase a new storage box for my new electronics to keep them safe, and why wouldn’t I buy...an ammo box.
