I've been revisiting a few characters lately! Here are some rough ideas for Annie's parents who I haven't touched in 3 years, and KoJo who I wanted to make older.

Thinking of naming the mom "May", carrying over the "Mei" from Annie's name that I've since dropped for a while, and naming her dad Sunn for now.

Two of the three PCB's that make up the piece of rack gear I call my DI box.

on the left, is a clone of the EQ section from a 70s Sunn Coliseum Bass amp, Half assembled.

It is a 4 knob eq, with controls idiosyncratically (but accurately) labeled high, mid, hi bass, and low bass. the high and mid controls each have a 2 position frequency switch. The result is a very versatile, but still easy to tune tone control.

On the right is my standard line output pcb, fully assembled, except for the gain setting resistor.

this is a transformer coupled design, which uses a small power amp, to ensure it cant be overloaded. I didn't know it when I designed this, but this is almost identical to the design used by urei in the late 1970s, notably in the 1178, and la4a.

It has better isolation and a lower noise floor then a modern integrated design, and is actually cheaper then the IC solutions sold by That crop.

I used the same pcb with a different transformer as a reverb driver in my rack mount spring reverb.

If you have ever listened to my music you have heard both these circuits on synth, guitar, bass, and even my drum machines. I've also sold several identical units to local studios.

also, the spring reverb is my go to reverb now. So its on most tracks as well.

When that happens I usually get a LOT of twitching and stuff to the point where it looks like I'm having a seizure sometimes, although that has more to do with being controlled by more than one of the system, which is why when the fourth guy tries to take over, I will often start twitching uncontrollably, and my movements will be much more erratic than usual. but these other personalities are like

They're so complex they're basically other people, and I also interact with these other personalities quite regularly in my sort of...

Weird system headspace.

We all often hang out here when we aren't piloting the body, and while I can only feel what goes on when I'm piloting, it's...

It's like I'm having my entire identity swapped out every time I switch. Like, everything that makes a person individual and unique.

Although, one of the weird things is that we do all share memories, both inside and outside of our system headspace, which is one of the main things that I think makes me different from most systems.

Extremely violent (will attack on sight)

Okay so fourth guy is:

Necrophiliac + into rape (and other fucked up stuff)

Extremely horny (see above)

Psycho-sociopath (wants to kill everyone/do horrible things to them and will act out in these tendencies if I let him)

Sadomasochist (has choked me several times in an attempt to kill me, as well as trying to fling me out my window while I can't do anything about it and just have to accept that this is what's happening)

LGBTQphobic (so hates all of us in the system even more)

Racist (self explanatory)

In general just a disgusting human being

He's fucked and if I could remove him from the system I would

But we don't say it

We try to avoid mentioning him because when we do he forcibly tries to pilot

Which is bad
