Tonight was wild. I mean that in a good way.

Recently I've been feeling out of touch with some of my friends from high school. So i hung out with them.

At first, that wasnt the plan. I was going to do English, play some video games, watch anime etc. Normal night. But then i got a text from my friend.

"Whats the plan for today?"

Well i was at class atm, and totally forgot i was going to hang out with him. But it was no big deal, we got food, played smash bros, and i went home in time for dinner.

Later, my other friends added me to a group chat and invited me to the park near my house. They didnt stay long since it was almost 10pm, and they have curfews, but i was left with my last friend. We talked for a while about stuff. Some heavy, some not so much. But then. There was this dog.

This fat, round golden i dont even know. He came right up to us while we were on the swing set. Logically, my friend was prehensive about touching him, but i was like,

"Look how fat he is. He has got to have an owner around here."

Of course its 11pm, and my friend's BF just arrived, but i mean this guy has no collar and is super friendly. I needed to ask around for the owner. So i started looking for a house that still had a light on, and there was one. And little golden boy seemed to really like the place so i figured he lived there. I knocked on the door not too loud, but there was a lot of barking inside. A very nice mom came to the door along with a variety of dogs behind her.

Oh boy. I have a stray and i picked to knock on the door to a house with a bunch of dogs... Bad idea. But, the lady was suoer nice. She stood by the front door with fat little golden boy and I as her husband got a leash and collar for the guy. We traded a few words and sge offered to take the dog in for the night.

I mean, like she was super chill. She told me that she worked with rescue dogs. Her friendly demeanor and her many foyr legged friends seemed to support her statement. As well as the fact that she had an extra collar for chubby golden guy we had.

I was totally suprised when she offered, but its not like i could have taken him home. She seemed much more prepared to take care of him. So i left little chubby guy with her, and i headed home. I was about 45 minutes later arriving home than i originally intended, but i hope this guy finds his family soon. Im really lucky that the only house i knocked on had such a perfect person to take care of him.

I hope you find your family little dog!

(Unfortunately i dont have pictures of him but imagine a sphere, but a small golden lab mix)
