I've actually been to Denver and we stopped off at Golden after a day out and it was lovely! Really liked Colarado from what I saw but we only had a couple of days there as we were visiting friends but we mostly went on a trip to Yellowstone. Totally wish we'd had longer to spend in Denver/Colorado itself.
