Eyes of the SEES members ~

I’ve always admired artstyles where every character has super unique and recognizable vibes, so decided to try it with the gang. Super fun, highly recommend!

In the process of designing these I developed headcanons for each of their eyes, kind weird but if you want to read me ranting about why I drew Yukaris pupils a certain way or whatever, feel free to click read more lol.

Makoto: I wanted him to look tired, so a lot of his eyelashes go downward instead of upwards, also eye bags because he has insomnia and you can’t convince me otherwise. I didn’t want his eyes to look hollow/empty, but I didn’t want to put super obvious highlights and I think it works? Idk. Also drew his eyes in a way that reminds me of the ocean at night (Atlus gave me a ocean/water motif and I run with it ok?). His eyebrows are kinda “messy” in comparison to the others but I think it makes his eyes prettier so it is in character to me.

Yukari: I wanted her eyes to look a little more intense and turned them a little to give them a slightly “angry look”. Yukari should have a light case of rbf imo. I feel like Yukari puts a lot of effort into her appearance, and she probably wears more makeup but I cannot draw that to save my life lmao. Her eyebrows are probably the least messy other than Mitsurus, for the same reason as the previous one. Also hard to tell, but I put hearts in her pupils because it’s cute. Really proud of these ones, they read like hers so well to me.

Junpei: Junpeis eyes were so fun to draw! I feel like he’d have pretty short lashes and slightly smaller eyes, but still very vibrant! I really wanted his eyes to look full of life but still pretty simple, and I think I did pretty well! They feel very expressive to me. Also I feel like he’d have naturally very thin eyebrows, so gave him that lol.

Akihiko: idk how I feel about these, but I guess they’re alright? Gave him a kinda intense stare ig. I gave him really long natural eyelashes because I feel like he’d have them (canonical pretty boy that he is) and I’m somewhat proud of them because I stuggle with making longer eyelashes look masculine so guess this is a win. Gave him an eyebrow slit because I was so sure he had one in p4arena only to find out he didn’t even have eyebrows in it. What.

Fuuka: I feel like Fuukas neutral expression would still look slightly confused/concerns so her eyes are a little droopy. Gave her short but thick eyebrows because I thought it would be cute. Her eyes kinda remind me of rain and I like that! Also sidenote love the fact that official art draws fuuka with teal eyebrows. The implication that she was either born with teal hair or is so dedicated to the dye job she even dyed her eyebrows is hilarious to me. I know blue is treated as a normal hair color in persona-universe but Fuuka is literally the only one with teal hair how is it not dyed but yosuke and chies is??

Mitsuru: I wanted Mitsuru to be pretty. I gave her thinner but crisp eyebrows and eyeliner. I was a little worried because before I started shading her eyes looked kinda evil?? Lol but they turned out better in the end. Didn’t do a lot of details in her eyes because it felt like it worked better that way, but gave her bright highlights in her eyes to make up for it.

Aigis: These are my least favorite, and the first ones I did. Not sure if thats awful, because I wanted them to be very different from the rest. I feel like Aigis doesn’t actually have this wide eyes but willingly widens them so you can see the whole iris. I feel like her eyes would look more normal at a distance, and most of her classmates just assume she’s got weird eyes because they’re an uncommon eye color (major “give her brown contacts please” energy). Made her eyes look like does target-thingys and slightly plastic-y.

Ken: I didn’t want his eyes to be to bright, but still lively and childish. I gave him round wide eyes + smaller and thicker eyebrows to give a more childish feel. His eyelashes are pretty short but made them point more downwards since they looked too cheerful when turned upwards.

Shinjiro: dunno how readable these are as shinji, but theyre fine. Made his eyes very dark and put bright highlights cause I thought it looked better than the grey he actually has. Also gave him major eyebags because man has not had a good nights rest since like. Last October (sorry)

okay more pictures I had thoughts about

Starting with these:

This handwriting is diff than how he wrote his name on that scan sheet in so I’m glad I can see his natural handwriting and not the neater one for tests and such, also the 😩 emoji he drew out I’m cryinggggg he’s so silly 😭😭😭 and I loved the little drawings he did in the book too, esp the cute version of the spider and the hearts around the bite!!! His memory is so fucking good too, to be able to remember all the details in the people he’s drawn and a spider he hasn’t seen in a long while (or a few days, idk when he actually drew this part)! Next ! :3

This one is soooo fucking funny to me. Bro can’t stand his ass he really can’t believe this is NYC’s new protector. Miles needed to get charged 50% more for embarrassing himself and by extension me bc I had to defend him here. It is a quick moment with him and Lenny (I think that’s his name?) but I like to think that they know each other, or at least have a friendly relationship for Miles to be so casual about this. If I really wanted to reach, and I do, I would say that he knows it’s Miles lol bc the voice is a dead giveaway.

THIS IS MY FAV PAIR OF PHOTOS TODAY. So I love the squinty then closed eyes, the use of his other powers besides the usual spider-man abilities, AND how he’s using them effectively but ends up indirectly causing a blackout ! Of course this isn’t the way I wanted it to go, I would prefer him being the direct cause in a scenario where maybe he takes the energy or overloads it to the point of a blackout, BUT this was funny, and it was still basically what I really hoped to see! And wasn’t this robot villain super similar to a robot toy either Miles or Ganke had in their dorm room??? can you imagine that the villains have more merch than Miles does and Ganke makes sure to remind him of that 😭😭😭 help

Now listen I think Miles would be ADORABLE. SO PRECIOUS. SO SILLY. with a few hairs actually above his lip. He swears it’s a full on mustache but it looks like he drew it on with eyeliner. Can you imagine how similar he’d look to Aaron when he laughs AND has those few hairs? He’d be ecstatic and would be showing them off to everyone he knows, he’s telling his dad that he’s a man now and can’t be grounded and that his curfew needs to be later, Rio’s probably only egging it on and Jeff is so proud but SO annoyed bc both him and spider-man, by pure coincidence, are starting to act like they’re much more mature and above anything and everybody in the way teenagers are when they reach a milestone, only to still be an anxious teenager underneath the new attitude lol. Also bug eyes :3 you know I love me them bug eyes

And I have no words for this autistic ass smile. “Didn’t know how to smile until I was 8” faceass. “Intelligent young boy but struggling to connect with peers” written on his 3rd grade report card faceass. “Doesn’t get along well with the other boys in class and opts to read instead of participating in recess or class fun” said in the PTC faceass. I don’t even care that this isn’t even his natural smile and he’s rightfully awkward looking here, to me he has been canonically stated to be some form of neurodivergent. Sword slash to the chest. Can I please request a soulmate au!Namor x fem!human!reader where she’s very clumsy, jumpy/gets startled easily, but also really bubbly, and she’s traveling on vacation, and she’s on walking around on the beach when she trips over her own feet, and kinda tumbles down a hill, happening to fall into Namor’s cave (Lol I’m telling that I would be this clumsy ☠️, also tell me why I imagined the Princess Bride scene when she falls down the hill lol, I’m sorry for the chaos…) She lands sitting up, legs sprawled out, hair in front of her face, all right in front of Namor, like literally in front of him, at his feet, and screams at the top of her lungs 🤣☠️ He’s looking down at her in disbelief (but also anger because she’s a surface dweller in his home), she’s looking up at him with a mix of fear and embarrassment, trying to stutter out an excuse while also trying to piece together how this man is clearly not human… And she also feels drawn to him. All the while Namor pieces together why he didn’t immediately act on this trespasser, and also feels drawn to her. This cute, chaotic little human is his soulmate 🥰 Their strong connection only grows and grows, he asks her to stay (not that she ever wanted to leave) be his Queen (he makes her be able to age slow like him, and also breathe underwater), and he’s also really protective of her and super soft with her, she’s his little Angel (also she makes him laugh a lot)🥺🥺

Namor x Female!Reader!

The soft winds blew and the waves crashed against the sand. Everything was as it should be, For now at least. The girl who sat on the sand hoped, gazing at the water that captured her attention with every move.

‘I'm so glad to have gotten that time off...’ she thought closing her eyes. she stood up and began to walk on the soft sand and her eyes drifted to the empty beach.

‘Also lucky to have all to myself it seems!” she chuckled and walked further admiring the view.

With time she stumbled into a small save with a small opening. She was filled curiosity, a something drew her to it. It was odd,

Before she could even think, her body felt heavy.And she fell into the hole and the girl screamed into the darkness as she flailed helplessly in the air.

She could not think as only fear occupied her mind. Then her back hit the rough floor and she groaned.

“Urgh..” rubbing her shoulder she looked around, She was in a cave illuminated by a blue glow. ad the rocks were a beautiful color. One she could not described. She was never good at describing things. If she were to tell her friends or family about this, lets just say she would never do it justice.

“At least I'm not dead..” She mumbled in pain as she slowly lifted herself up.

At first her groans went unnoticed by the man who had his attention solely on his art, He slowly guided the brush against the wall. He thought of nothing. Taking the brush away from the wall he stood back to examine it. As he stood there the groan reached his ears and he turned his head quickly. He made his way out of the small hut. His gaze landed on the girl who was stretching and rubbing the small scratches she had sustained. She had her back towards him and didn't notice his presence.

“Who are you?!” He asked his voice stern and the girl turned around quickly jumping from the sudden scare.

“Oh- you scared me!” she exclaimed looking at the man who stood before her. He had cloth around his body that hung loosely. And she noted the supposed gold that adorned his shoulders. But most importantly she stared at his ears and ankles. His ears were pointed up like a elf. His ankle had a wing.

The man noticed that she was staring and began once more,

“I'm not asking you again, Who.are.you.” his voice was more stern by the second. and the fear began to well in her chest.

“i-i uh....” she mumbled before telling him her name. The man before her still looked serious, his gaze deadly. If looks could kill she thought. i would be dead now i think.

“How did you get here?” he asked again, His accent revealing itself.

The girl fumbled as she lifted her hand slowly to show she meant no harm. Upon seeing that he didn't react harshly she lifted her hand to the hole on the top of the cave.

“i fell from up there..” she explained looking at the hole and there man looked up to the hole, examining it. the girl thought.

“can i have your name?” she asked twiddling her fingers and the man shifted his gaze back to her. “i've never seen anyone like you if i am honest” she admitted,

and handsome, she added only in thought of course. the only continued to examined her. For what reason? the girl thought,but she didn't dare to ask judging from his reaction.

“What are you?” he asked suddenly ignoring her previous questions.

“what am i..?” she repeated as the man in front of her nodded already seeming to let loose.

“Im just a traveler, im traveling for my vacation.” she explained, The man seemed to loosen up alot after that.

“A traveler?” he repeated and the girl nodded,

“yes, im taking a break from my job so i came here.” she explained.

“The man in front of her smiled loosely,

“I see, sorry if i scared you. As you can see this is where i spend my time privately” he explained gesturing inside the house where the murals stood. The girl followed his hands to it.

“Ah..!how pretty” she exclaimed with a small smile on her face. “But..if i can ask how exactly do you get out and in...?” she asked looking around.

The man in front of her only chuckled and looked away,

“Come let me show you.”

Time passed at the two somehow grew close, The man introduced himself as namor, The king of Talokan. To the girl surprise at the time it was added to the list of amazing things about him. She wondered about her life before, Whether she should return. (She didn't really want to)

Its was not like she had anyone up there to return to. All she had was her work, which..she was most likely to be fired from by now as her vacation had long ended.

She sighed into the air as she waited. Namor had gone to attend to his people as he usually did. it was a routine that she unconsciously fallen into. He would leave for hours and she would wait here for him. However there had been a thought that had plagued her for a while now.

‘Was there someway to join them?’ she thought,Namor had told her stories in intricate detail about how his people lived, how they would pluck their versions of seafruits off of long vined with big leaves, How he had brought the sun to his people, How it ascended and fill the place with light. The girl had tried hard to imagine it. But a last they were only images in her brain and she had longed to se it in person.

Despite her longing to see Talokan, She had also hoped to stay with man who ruled over it. This time they spent together was already the time she would cherish when he was gone, was it to early to say she loved him..? maybe. But she did know she didn't want to be apart from him. Not now not ever.

As if he had heard her thoughts the sound of water splashing reached her ears, and she turned to look at the source,

“Namor!” she said with a smiling sitting up and running to him, The King smiled back at her making his way out of the pool.

“How was it?” she asked him as they both sat on chairs and she leaned on the table sitting across from him. Namors brown eyes met hers and he began to speak.

“It is the usual” He replied, as he always did. But still The girl listened to him as he explained the simple troubles his people faced, His face seemed to beam when he did talk about his people. It was admirable she thought. As he continued about a quarrel between a child and his sister. How they fought over a ball they had gotten from their parents. a chuckle left the girls lips thinking of the faces small children make when they were mad.

He continued, and she listened.

After a while, he stopped and stood up to look at his murals. This was something The girl had not asked about, she forgot where she heard it, But it was something along the lines that artist (Not all) are somewhat shy when people showed their work. Though the question lingered on the tip of her tongue every time she spoke to him.

She never asked.

Today though, she stood up and walked besides him. They both admired the murals in silence. until...

“Which one is this one about..?” she asked the tip of her fingers grazing among the painted wall. It was smooth and felt like all the other walls she touch in her life. But unlike the others this one was painted like no other.

Namor, shifted his gaze to where the girl laid.

It was was one of a man who fought a black feline, at least that what it seemed like to you.

“ Do you remember the fight with the black panther i told you about?” he asked and you nodded recalling the story. “ I painted this shortly after” he said also placing a hand next to the girls

“It beautiful,” she breathed out looking at it, Their fight would forever adorn these walls, twenty-years...fifty-years...sixty...and so on. They would last even me, The girl thought. And a feeling of anxiety rushed over her.

In years to come he would be sitting here, Alone. As he did before” she thought

With another breath the girl turned towards namor,

“That story you told me, The one of your mother” she said and namor turned his gaze back to her.

“Yes?” he asked his brown-eyes filled with curiosity.

“That plant..” she said, trailing off struggling to get the words out.

‘what if he said no?’

‘what if-’ she cut her thoughts off by shaking her head.

“That plant you said they took..can i have it?” she blurted out. Namor eyes widened clearly taken aback by her question,

“What do you mean?” he asked, before she answered he seemed to piece the puzzles together.

“You want to turn..” he thought for a moment

and the girl thought, some reason...She expected to be bombarded with questions. But she remembered the time they spent together, The laughs. everything.

“ I planned on asking you.” he said as if he had heard her thoughts.

“I just wanted to see if you ever would ask.” he said with a grin, as the girl smiled “Really? huh..guess i beat you to it then” she said smiling as namor chuckled. and looked into her eyes with a serious look,

“Im only asking this once..”. he said his voice low now, “do you tr-”

“Yes” she cut him off, “i’ve thought about it already, so..yes.”

A small smile formed on his lips, “Alright, “

‘One more thing...” she said and held his arm. “I want to thank you, Really. you could have killed me when you first saw me but..you didn't.” She explained looking into his eyes. “Thanks!” she said again with a smile The king smiled back at her.

“It was weird.” he admitted looking away and walking out of the hut and to the small pools of water,

“I felt..an..” he trailed off deciding what to say next. He looked back to the girl and shook his head smiling.

“I want you to stay.” he admitted and gestured to the girl to come closer. SHe did just that and felt the water on her feet.

“ i want to ask you one more thing” He said with a new found intensity which the girl noticed as he looked at her.

“ for exchange for turning you, I want you to be the Queen.” he stated looking at the girl as her eyes widened, Though flustered mostly she was happy. With a newfound confidence she nodded, Namor smiled and placed a hand on her cheek and kissing her softly.

So many things happening at once, the girls heart raced thinking about what happened and how quickly it was happening.

soon after Namor left again to get the flower and arrived shortly after. As he placed the glowing gel from the plant onto a small bowl, the girls heart raced in excitement. She watched as Namor took the bowl and laid her down on the floor where he had laid out a small blanket,

“Okay, You may fall asleep after so just close your eyes” he instructed as he laid the girl down into the blanket as she nodded and the man lifted the bowl to her lips and what was once glowing gel was now reduced to liquid slowly made her way inside her mouth and she swallowed it.

It was dark for her after that. The girl slept for a while, and then her eyes opened and she gasped while sitting up. Namor who waited patiently besides her held her shoulders.

“Breath...Breathe...” he whispered as the girl tried her best to calm, Namor helped her up and walked back towards the water. Now calm, The girl stood besides Namor as they both stared at the water,

“Are you ready?” he asked taking her hand in his as she turned to look at him.

‘Im ready.” she whispered, He gave her a small smile and looked back

‘Let's go then.” he stated jumping in first and disappearing in the water, He was waiting for her.

The girl stood at the edge of the pool, She breathed and closed her eyes. She thought of Talokan and all its beautiful wonders, The sun rising from out of the Namor temple. The people who plucked their fruits and foods swimming though the water. With one last breath, the girl placed a foot in the water.

The cool water surrounded it,

She removed her foot and stumbled back. She ran and jumped in the air feeling its last remnant's in those few seconds.

Then she landed into the water,

Into its beautiful blue world.

omfg thank u for asking um let me think …

kotone & junpei - i’ve drawn very little for them even tho they’re literally one of my favorite friendships in the entire franchise 😭 they make me laugh so hard and i love to imagine how chaotic they are together. i loved junpeis sl and how protective he is over her even as just a friend. it’s rare to find a good m/f friendship where romance isn’t forced on it (tho im sorry to anyone who wanted to romance junpei) and i think kotone and junpei are such cute & funny friends

junpei & shinji - i drew 1 single thing for this duo but it’s also really really funny to me. shinji rarely gets to be silly and i just think he’d be like junpei’s older brother. i laugh every time i play dancing and shinji just goes “you’re too damn loud junpei” because it makes the brother vision so clear. also junpei thinks shinji is a badass. also i like imagining junpei bothering shinji about everything and shinji going along with it. and just imagine for one second shinji doing some dumb shit with junpei and tell me u dont love this duo also

junpei/fuuka - SORRY for another junpei one but. and yall might get on me,,, but this ship is soo fucking cute omfg. i lowkey love it a lot. i didn’t see it before reload (and dancing) but ever since playing dancing into reload, they’ve really grown on me. their dances are so cute together and, with kotone’s guidance, i think junpei would be able to sweep fuuka off her feet… fuuka would cook for junpei and immediately kill him

yukari & aki - i know u said “don’t talk about as much” but i couldn’t not mention them. they’re like the angelic behalf of shinji&junpei. i’ve always felt like they preferred each others company out of the others. like i feel like they wouldn’t bother each other and would actually enjoy being around each other. + reload added some interactions/lines that i loved. time to bring up my brief moment of disappointment when yukari asks aki for help in a study session but he doesn’t get to answer </3

yukari & kotone - this one is soo cute. i do think romantically they’d also be really cute but even as just friends i just love seeing yukari get to interact with another girl and have a super fun relationship with her. i cry when kotone can tell yukari her favorite color is also pink. they’re just girls…

i also love aigis & aki (i think aigis could find comfort in him about kotone since their situations are similar)

and recently (i went into it a bit on a diff ask) chidori with yukari & fuuka !! i love chidori having actual friends that isn’t strega, though i also love her with jin in more of a sibling sense (but if u ship them that’s fine)

Shoto was obsessed with you. Genuinely, he could not stop thinking about you. No matter what, you were on his mind. He wanted you to be his. However he was also nervous to ask you out. If he was going to ask you out, it needed to be perfect. He needed to plan the perfect date for you.

He wanted to know everything about you so he picked up on a lot of things about you. He noticed everything about you so of course he noticed your love of space.

The books about solar systems and stars you carried around, the small keychain of a telescope on your bag, the doodles of stars and moons you drew on everything. He noticed all of it.

So when he eventually got the courage to ask you out on a date, of course he suggested that you two go star gazing. You accepted, nervous but also excited. He didn’t know much about space however he was perfectly content simply listening to you gush on about it.

“Ah, I’m sorry” you mumble, glancing over to see how Shoto was simply staring at you. “I’m probably boring you huh?” You say, smiling nervously. You worried you might be boring him with your space obsession. You mean, he hadn’t even talked much through your speeches about different stars and solar systems.

“No, no, keep talking. I want to hear you talk about what you’re interested in” Shoto says calmly watching you glance away and down as if you’re embarrassed by his words. He didn’t mean to say anything to embarrass or fluster you. He simply wanted you to know the truth.

“I was worried I might be boring you with you with my space obsession, I know you’re not really that into it” You mumble, bringing your knees to your chest as you look back up at the stars above you. Shoto only watches you, almost breathless at how gorgeous you are even when you’re just looking at the night sky.

“No, I love hearing you talk about it. I may not know much about space or anything, but I like hearing how interested you are in it” He says, watching you lay back against the ground again. You pause for a moment before saying another random fact, Shoto still listening.

You may have thought he spaced out as you spoke about space because he seemed to stare at you without speaking. But he really was listening. He was simply making sure to remember every fact you said. He wants to remember everything you say to him and every single moment he has with you.

Oh good question!

Our first twst ship is Azul/Idia. These two were pretty much the reason we fell into this fandom in the first place. Our very first twst posts here are fanart of these two, and we weren’t even sure we’d be getting this invested in twst back then. We kind of thought we’d just post a couple of things and move on 😭 Who knew.

Our most recent ship… has to be Crewel/Deuce, right? It’s hard to tell because this is one of the ships we’ve been talking about here and there, but it’s been just about a month since we’ve posted them for the first time.

But that was the entire point, Anon. Even before posting the sketches of the girls I’ve said a couple of times: I really like the idea of fem!Lilia looking pretty much the same as the original Lilia. It’s supposed to be confusing – that’s the comedy and the interesting part of it, at least to me. I love that it’s tricky to tell them apart, just like with Idia, whose baggy clothes hide her entire body.

Who knows, maybe she used to have a low tied bun when she was living in a forest with Silver. But maybe she didn’t 🤷 I feel like Lilia’s hair isn’t a commitment – she does whatever she feels like doing, just like the original Lilia. And I just happen to love it when her hair is identical to male!Lilia.

Funny enough, I think I drew the original Lilia with pigtails a couple of times lol

That Jade quote still lives in our heads as a reminder that we should definitely do something about it, because this is such a juicy piece of Jade’s personality, but we never get to using it to its full potential. One day we will..! Still, we think about it pretty often. It’s a pretty good indicator of just how much Jade (and presumably Floyd as well) would hate the feeling of betrayal. We always talk about Azul being the most yandere-coded because of how petty he is and how unforgiving he is, but Jade and Floyd probably aren’t much better. Their only advantage is that they don’t get as attached as Azul does (and he isn’t someone who gets easily attached either, so that’s saying something). Which in a way makes the betrayal scenario even worse for these two: if they end up actually getting attached to someone and that person backstabs them, well it’s over for that poor fool indeed lol

It could happen to one of them or to either of them, and honestly a lot of it depends on who betrayed them. How close they were, what kind of relationship they had… But in general, I feel like Jade didn’t lie when he said about dragging someone beneath the waves. I think these two might actually drown a person, then force the guy to drink a potion that allows him to breather underwater, tie him to a pole in an abandoned ship and leave him there in the cold darkness of the ocean, unable to die or move. And then they would come back from time to time to torment this person, maybe torture him, maybe just bully him a bit, maybe rape him. But always, always come back just in time before the potion’s effect wears off to force him to drink more of it. And then, after a couple of months of this life of nothing but loneliness, terrifying underwater ghost haunting and eel torment, they would suddenly stop appearing, as if they got bored and got over it. Just so that person doesn’t get too used to relying on them bringing the potion to keep him alive and all.

I can see this type of scenario for either Idia or Riddle, but it would be a bit different for both of them, I think. And of course, this is just one of millions of other options…

• That’s one of the things that drew George to you. He thought it was amazing how you were so funny without even trying to be. You just made comments that came to you. And they were hilarious. (This isn’t you’re funny without meaning to in terms of, like, ignorance or stupidity, btw, like “Aw, cute, haha, you don’t know how to do this thing or you don’t know what this is and you should”)

• So he notices when you haven’t joked or even really talked that much one day.

• He sits next to you and asks you in all sincerity what’s wrong.

• And, of course, you reply that nothing is.

• Which earns you a frown. Because obviously something is wrong.

• So George asks you again.

• And you know the jig is up.

• You try to explain it to him.

• And he’s flabbergasted.

• “You mean…to tell me…that you don’t think you’re funny?”

• “That’s right.” You’re completely serious.

• George laughs.

• “What’s so funny?”

• “The fact that you don’t think you’re funny.”

• “How so?”

• “It’s just the things you say, the things that just pop into your head, are funny. You are naturally funny. I’m actually jealous.”

• Now it was your turn to laugh. “You’re jealous of me? I’m jealous of you!”

• “Why would you be jealous of me?”

• “Because you’re so funny and likable.”

• “And you’re not?”

• You shrugged. “I dunno. It just seems like you’re really funny and everyone likes you.”

• “Well, you’re funny and everyone likes you, too.”

• “Do you really not see how other people laugh at what you say?”

• George tsked “well, I guess I’m gonna have to change that.”

• “What do you m-“ before you could finish your question, George had grabbed your wrist and was dragging you along.

• He went to what seemed like almost half the company asking people if they thought you were funny. All of them said yes. He also asked them what the funniest thing you’ve ever said was. All of them were immediately able to cite multiple things without being able to pick one.

• you started crying at one point. George then enveloped you in a hug.

• He held your face in his hands

• “you see that, sweetheart? You’re funny as hell.”

Joseph Liebgott:

• Cobb (lol, sorry buddy that you’re my go to instigator) had said some mean things about you, particularly your body (PT gear, running Currahee or whatever, maybe just training in general, idk what I want the context to be)

• And Joe was having none of it. It took several guys to hold him back from ripping Cobb to shreds (like, think Bill and the Samaria, except they hold him back before he actually gets to take a swing at Cobb).

• After he had calmed down (or perhaps to calm down), he decides to try and find you.

• You had gone back to the barracks and were lying face down on your bed. Joe sat next to you and ran his hand soothingly up and down your back.

• You moved your head to the side to tell him: “don’t do that.”

• He stopped, but asked: “why not?”

• “Just don’t, ok?”

• Joe scoffed. “Don’t tell me you actually believe that idiot.” Joe was starting to get angry again. How dare Cobb say those things about you. How dare he make you feel bad.

• “Why shouldn’t I?”

• “Because he’s wrong?”

• “How is he wrong?”

• “He just is!”

• When you said nothing, instead opting to just pout at Joe, he sighed and moved to sit further up the bed.

• “Why do you think he might be right?”

• You shrugged. “I dunno.”

• “Is there something you wanna tell me, sweetheart? What’s wrong?”

• This is when you started to cry. Joe instinctively pulled you up and into his arms. You tensed a bit at the contact at first before relaxing into him.

• “What’s wrong sweetheart? Please tell me. I hate seeing you like this. It breaks my heart.”

• “The things he said hit a little too close to home for me. I’ve been a bit insecure about my body for a while now, even though I’m loosing a bit of weight now due to training. So, when he said those things to me, it hurt.”

• “Oh, sweetheart. I’m so sorry. I didn’t know.”

• “It’s alright. You couldn’t have known. I didn’t tell you.”

• “You’re my girlfriend! I should’ve known!”

• “It’s ok, Joe.”

• “No, it’s not ok! That prick can’t say things like that to you and get away with it.”

• “Don’t give him that satisfaction.”

• “What satisfaction?”

• “That he’s right. That he’s angered you.”

• “Same goes for you, too, sweetheart. Don’t be all mopey in here. Get out there and be your badass self.”

• You blushed and smiled.

• “There’s that beautiful smile.” He booped your nose. He then started tickling you.

• “Joe! Joe! Stop! I can’t breathe! It hurts! My cheeks hurt!” You said through your laughter.

• Let’s just say you felt a whole lot better after that.

Ron Speirs:

• He gets pissed. Like really, really pissed.

• You’ve had to hold him back and calm him down on multiple occasions at bars and pubs if someone insulted you. Or if some private questions your competency as his superior officer.

• But now he’s got all this pent up anger.

• So he steals you away and turns all soft once you two are alone.

• He’s holding you tightly to him and petting your hair while he tells you how wrong the jerk was. He lists off all the ways in which he is wrong. And all the ways in which you are wonderful.

• You get all shy and blush at first, trying to be humble. Because you didn’t really believe him. You thought he was just being nice. That he just had to say those things because he was your boyfriend.

• But then he tells you that he’d like to show you how wonderful you are.

• I will not go into detail about what happens next, but let’s just say he gets his anger out and you feel as loved as ever. It’s a win-win. 😉🤫

So im starting a series (that will probably go on for as long as i can remeber to keep it going) where i post 1 peice of art that i have made, either that day or some other time, and leave notes about the art underneath. This is technicall two pieces but crowley and aziraphale are forever a package deal in my opinion, i didn’t want either to be lonely in seperate posts :,(

Aziraphale

I love the idea of the bookmark bookshelves, got that idea from my friend in class who game them to me which inspired the enitre peice

I really don’t like a lot of the shading on this peice, especially the out of place mark under aziraphales ear on his closer up and the two stripes on aziraphales face that was my attempt at shading

I also hate how the full body version of him looks, it's just a bit off to me

I do love aziraphales chibi version, i liked that i drew him leaning on a book lol

Crowley

I love the leaves I made, i think their super cute

I also like the the hot glue spirals, they don't have anything to do with crowley but i thought they were cool aditions along with the devil soda tabs and the two painted bottle caps made to look like his eyes

I also tried to make his page look a bit more minimalist since thats crowleys personal aesthetic (at least in the drama tv show)

I don't like his close up, i think it's a bit off and his classes don't match

Also his hands are shit lol

ILLIT - Super Real Me

Not bad, I guess? Not great either. Very trendy, I’m sure it’ll be popular and all that. But what originally drew me into kpop is that groups weren’t always trying to be cool. Being weird and cute and exciting and dumb were all totally valid and popular concepts. But now everyone’s trying to be cool and it’s kinda frustrating, because that’s not what I got into kpop for!

I quite liked the sound design of the album, but if it had any more songs on it then I would’ve gotten bored. That’s what happened with the fromis_9 album. But they had the good sense to keep the EP short (nine and a half minutes!) which means that it didn’t overstay its welcome. I’ll add them all to my playlist, but I do not expect all of them to survive on my playlist. Average of 7.5.

SPOILER REVIEW FOR ACROSS THE SPIDER VERSE BELOW THE CUT

1000000/10, best movie, go see it immediately, Spider-Man my beloved 💖💖💖

- The Visuals

• Holy shit guys, this might be THE best animated movie ever created. They took the visuals and art styles from the first movie and cranked it up to 10,000!!

• Seeing all the Spider people in different art forms had my eyes glued to the movie, there were so many Easter eggs and nods to other popular Spiders, I know I didn’t see them all!

• The backgrounds were absolutely gorgeous! My personal favorite being the ones from Gwen’s universe, almost every shot had different colors in the background and it was just mesmerizing!

• They did a fantastic job distinguishing each universe from one other by using different color schemes and art styles, even when some of them looked similar, you could tell there was something different!

- The Characters

• They definitely go all in on character development in this film, they wanted to give everyone more character and personality and backstory. We’re missing a few of our Spider friends from the first film but they’re replaced with some new faces!

• Miles, the absolute GOAT, was such a great protagonist in this film. We spend a lot more time with his family this time around and they didn’t shy away from the slow and heavy moments. His mom even gets more of a role in this movie and she was great! He’s only 15 y/o in this movie and absolutely outsmarted every single other Spider at one point which was great to watch! There’s a plot point in the movie concerning Miles that will absolutely break your heart 😭

• Gwen gets a lot more screen time than in ITSV, she’s a stand out character in this movie! We get to see the relationship she has with her dad and get to go more in depth about how she lost her Peter! And I’m happy they didn’t rely too heavily on the romantic aspects between Gwen and Miles, but they touched on it and it was incredibly sweet!

• Miguel O’Hara my beloved!!! (I’m an Oscar Isaac stan, Moon Knight was the best Marvel tv show, fight me on it, lmao) I wouldn’t consider Spider-Man 2099 a villain, but he made a very good antagonist to Miles, he was very threatening! He didn’t get a very in-depth back story but you were given just enough information to sympathize with his pain. Something seemed fishy about his story, maybe I’m reading too much into it, but I’m hopeful they dive into it more in the sequel!

• SPIDER-PUNK, HOBIE BROWN OMG, what a fantastic new addition, he’s such a fucking anarchist and it’s great! He speaks in a thick cockney accent and I love his rebellious nature, he don’t give two shits about what anybody thinks! His character’s look might be the most impressive in the film, apparently it took animators 3 years to make him look the way he did!!

• Pavitr Prabhakar, baby boy, sunshine!! He’s a little cocky but in a cute way! His home of Mumbattan was SO GOD DAMN COLORFUL! I honestly wished he had more screen time because he was super funny and HIS HAIR, SO FLUFFY AND SOFT!!!

• Everyone’s favorite Peter B Parker makes a return! I can say he didn’t have as big of a role in the film as ITSV but he was still great regardless! And now he has a baby girl named Mayday!! And he kept trying to show everyone pictures of her like an actual new parent would lol.

• Jessica Drew is also a new character! She was super badass with her Spider Cycle! AND she was pregnant the whole movie which is even more badass! (Also, side note, when Gwen asked about her pregnancy, I really appreciated that Jess said that they she didn’t know the sex of the baby instead of saying gender, it was small but I liked that little detail!)

• Spot, the main villain of this movie (and the next) was interesting! If I had any real complaints about this movie, it would be that Spot was not in this movie as much as I hoped. I understand why because this is the first part of a 2-part movie, but by the end of the movie, he shows up and I was like “Oh yeah, Spot, where the hell has he been??” But he technically is a character we’ve seen before (I don’t wanna say who because it’s actually funny who he turns out to be!) He starts out being kind of goofy but he gets very threatening!

• There are bunch of other minor characters that I won’t go too deep into but my favorite minor character had to be Ben Riley, he was made to be super over dramatic and stated really obvious things while he was on patrol, got a few laughs out of me!

- The Plot

• Babes, the story is so good in this. I don’t want to give EVERYTHING away cuz I want y’all to see it for yourselves but I will say that this is a 2-parter! There is a “to be continued” at the end of the movie just so you’re prepared!

• The basic premise is that the Spiders have to take down Spot because he’s hopping to different dimensions, making himself more powerful. Spot has a personal grudge against Miles and wants to take away everything from him. You can tell from the trailers that Miles is trying to defy Miguel and what he’s doing, which ends up going in a very suspenseful direction! Again, not going to spoil everything, but it’s just such a great story!

• Like I said, they focus more heavily on family dynamics in the sequel which I loved! More time with Jeff and Rio which was nice to see, Rio has a great talk with Miles during the movie and it was so heartfelt! Gwen and her dad have a few scenes together too, it’s a really great relationship to watch unfold. Gwen and Miles have some great character moments together, but of course it’s not all positive!

• The dynamic between the different Spiders is a blast as well! I was never bored with this movie, it kept me engaged even during the non-action sequences because they did a great job making you care about these characters!

• This movie clocks in at almost 2 1/2 hours but I promise you, you’re not gonna feel that time. I did not want this movie to end! They throw so much at you but at the same time, you’re gonna leave wanting more!

• Where this movie ends is…wow!! I can say I definitely didn’t see it coming until a few seconds before they revealed what was going on, and I sat there and just went “oh…oh no…” for the last 10-15 minutes lol. And apparently the sequel will be out next year! And thank God cuz I could not wait another 3 years!

• A heads up! There aren’t any end credit scenes so you don’t have to stay for those! The only thing that happens after the initial credits is text appearing saying “Miles Morales will return in…” and it gives you the next movie title (won’t say what it is!)

- Miscellaneous (mostly Easter eggs and cameos)

• There were so many GOD DAMN Easter eggs in this film, it’s insane! I know I’ll have to watch it a few more times if I want to catch everything the put in here! There is def one cameo that stands out above everything else (I won’t say who, but you’ll know when you see him 😏)

• They actually showed very brief scenes from Toby Maguire and Andrew Garfield’s movies which caught me completely by surprise, but I sure as shit was happy about it!!

• They don’t show any scenes from Tom Holland’s Spider-Man (which I understand cuz Marvel 🙄) BUT they make two references to it, one with a line from Miguel and with the cameo I mentioned previously!

• The Spectacular Spider-Man had a fucking voice line and I almost passed out, like I watched the shit out of that show, I was so happy he was included! They also showed the PS4/PS5 version of Spider-Man which I thought was pretty funny!

- Final Thoughts

• Peak cinema! The story, the characters, the visuals…all incredible! Go watch it right now immediately!!

Marinette lives with her mother and father in Hateno (Link’s House in BOTW). She trains with others in her village to be a knight in the Hyrulean army. Hateno does have inns and had lots of people that used to come, but due to the rising threat of the calamity including more monsters that’s just something people don’t want to risk unless their lives depend on it. Marinette is one of the few people that goes outside of town normally. She used to go with Marc Anciel until he got an apprenticeship in Castletown. She also used to go to Zora’s domain and Lanyru in general to spend time with the prince, but at this point it’s far to dangerous to go over there due to the electric enemies and not having the funds to defend against those.

Marinette just hopes to make Hyrule a safer place to benefit her family and others across Hyrule especially those who don’t have family and friends nearby and those who need help.

More about her reasons that her being a knight and a bit more of what goes on will be shown when I post her knight’s outfit and her hylian’s outfit.

Here’s more of an explanation about the outfits and what’s up with them:

So, I was so tempted to use the overalls Zelda look from the concept art and while it does radiate Marinette energy, I just feel like it’s something that canon Marinette would wear. Which I’m not saying that is a bad thing, but I wanted to make it so that she would look different in a way. I was going to have a picture of the overalls, but tumblr ate it ;-;. I looked through more concept art and found the cute hoodie look and I think that marinette would be able to move easily and to go adventure.

I wanted to do the pigtails for her normal outfit, but when I drew it in my sketchbook it didn’t really fit. I think it was the headband that I wanted to add which made it look weird, but I really don’t know. I went to the other hairstyles that marinette wears in the show and while I was upset about doing another ponytail (you have no idea how many of these designs work with ponytails the best lol) I did the pegabug ponytail, but a litte shorter.

I also looked through more concept art that would fit Marinette and I saw this piece from some Skyward Sword concept art. I did try to do her signature pigtails with this outfit in my sketchbook, but I really didn’t like it. So, I went with her long haired look. I did keep the more modern Hateno belt and a headband with the belt pattern.

Voyage of the Nautilus: The Gulf Stream pt. 2

Trying my hand at live-reading even though I was bad and read ahead. But this chapter hurts and I need to yell about it.

“Sir,” he told me that day, “it’s got to stop. I want to get to the bottom of this. Your Nemo’s veering away from shore and heading up north. But believe you me, I had my fill at the South Pole and I’m not going with him to the North Pole.”

I like Ned putting his foot down lol. Big "this party's going on for way too long, I'm calling the Uber" vibes.

“I keep coming back to my idea. We’ve got to talk to the captain. When we were in your own country’s seas, you didn’t say a word. Now that we’re in mine, I intend to speak up. Before a few days are out, I figure the Nautilus will lie abreast of Nova Scotia, and from there to Newfoundland is the mouth of a large gulf, and the St. Lawrence empties into that gulf, and the St. Lawrence is my own river, the river running by Quebec, my hometown—and when I think about all this, my gorge rises and my hair stands on end! Honestly, sir, I’d rather jump overboard! I can’t stay here any longer! I’m suffocating!”

Ned :((( This chapter is so anxiety-inducing and you can feel the dread. Also "When we were in your own country’s seas, you didn’t say a word. Now that we’re in mine, I intend to speak up" is such a good line.

I had a sense of what he was suffering because I also was gripped by homesickness. Nearly seven months had gone by without our having any news from shore. Moreover, Captain Nemo’s reclusiveness, his changed disposition, and especially his total silence since the battle with the devilfish all made me see things in a different light. I no longer felt the enthusiasm of our first days on board.

Aronnax :((( Nemo :((( I wonder if Aronnax's homesickness was amplified (or rather unlocked) after hearing one of the crewmen speak French during the devilfish fight. Everyone's depressed on this submarine.

You needed to be Flemish like Conseil to accept these circumstances, living in a habitat designed for cetaceans and other denizens of the deep.

Except for Conseil, who seems to be fine just chilling. Is this a Flemish stereotype? Should I be side-eyeing Aronnax?

Truly, if that gallant lad had owned gills instead of lungs, I think he would have made an outstanding fish!

I still think this line is super cute. I wish someone would say I'd be an outstanding fish.

“But I rarely encounter him. He positively avoids me.” “All the more reason you should go look him up.” “I’ll confer with him, Ned.” “When?” the Canadian asked insistently. “When I encounter him.” “Professor Aronnax, would you like me to go find him myself?” “No, let me do it. Tomorrow—” “Today,” Ned Land said.

Ned "either communicate with him or just dump him already!" Land.

I entered. The captain was there. He was bending over his worktable and hadn’t heard me. Determined not to leave without questioning him, I drew closer. He looked up sharply, with a frowning brow, and said in a pretty stern tone: “Oh, it’s you! What do you want?” “To speak with you, captain.” “But I’m busy, sir, I’m at work. I give you the freedom to enjoy your privacy, can’t I have the same for myself?”

My anxiety is off the charts. I also love how short and abrupt his sentences suddenly get. It makes the encounter that much more tense.

Aronnax saying they "were miles apart" ;-; Turns out the 20,000 leagues was the distance that grew between him and Nemo this whole time.

“Here, Professor Aronnax, is a manuscript written in several languages. It contains a summary of my research under the sea, and God willing, it won’t perish with me. Signed with my name, complete with my life story, this manuscript will be enclosed in a small, unsinkable contrivance. The last surviving man on the Nautilus will throw this contrivance into the sea, and it will go wherever the waves carry it.”

Only during my second reading did I realize that this is essentially a suicide note. Oh fuck. Then Aronnax going "👀 I wanna see that manuscript..."

The exchange between Nemo and Aronnax was brutal and tense, holy shit. You can feel Aronnax's anxiety and frustration and Nemo's impatience. The chapter they spent trapped under the ice wasn't as suffocating.

“Ned Land can think, attempt, or endeavor anything he wants, what difference is it to me? I didn’t go looking for him! I don’t keep him on board for my pleasure! As for you, Professor Aronnax, you’re a man able to understand anything, even silence. I have nothing more to say to you. Let this first time you’ve come to discuss this subject also be the last, because a second time I won’t even listen.” I withdrew. From that day forward our position was very strained.

I don't like it when they fight :(

But the skies became more and more threatening. There were conspicuous signs of a hurricane on the way. The atmosphere was turning white and milky. Slender sheaves of cirrus clouds were followed on the horizon by layers of nimbocumulus. Other low clouds fled swiftly. The sea grew towering, inflated by long swells. Every bird had disappeared except a few petrels, friends of the storms. The barometer fell significantly, indicating a tremendous tension in the surrounding haze. The mixture in our stormglass decomposed under the influence of the electricity charging the air. A struggle of the elements was approaching.

It's so cinematic aaaa. I love the way the weather matches the tension inside the submarine. Not the optimal weather for an escape, but I think Ned is in "I don't care if the price surge is 200%, I'm calling the Uber!" mode.

🎃🥧 Pumpkin Pie 🥧🎃

Guess what other Nintendo series I got into recently? 👀

And by recently, I mean a few months back in June lol

Ik Thanksgiving was almost a month ago, and Christmas is just around the corner, but I thought I’d post it now (very typical of me at this point). How was y’alls Thanksgiving? For me, it was just so-so. It wasn’t as boring as last year's Thanksgiving, but it still was pretty average. Though in all honestly I’m not too big on Thanksgiving in general, I only really like it because of the food, the Macy’s Parade, and the fact that I get to hang out with other family members :P

Also drew this as a (super belated) 29th Anniversary of one of the best RPGs and Nintendo games of all time, Earthbound/Mother 2.

Like with F-Zero, I always knew about the Earthbound series thanks to Smash Bros (not to mention that Ness and Lucas are one of my mains), but never really got into it until I got a little older. I haven’t played the game just yet, but I plan on getting it on my Nintendo Switch soon.

I’ve been listening to the Vocal Album of the first Mother game (specifically the songs where Catherine Warwick was the main singer because on God she has a beautiful singing voice), the soundtrack to Earthbound, and some Let’s Plays of the game by the Game Grumps, and I just immediately fell in love in the series. It is quite sad that it initially didn’t take off in the West when it came out in 1995.

It probably didn’t help that the slogan for the game seen from the Player’s Guide was, “This game stinks” 💀

To celebrate almost 30 years of the game’s existence, I drew Ness’s mom, Rachael. While she isn’t too involved in the plot of the game, she still has an important role throughout it. If Ness gets homesick, he has to occasionally call his mom to get rid of it. She’s one of my favorite characters in not just the game, but the franchise as a whole. I love her design sm, and I like the fact that she differs a lot from a majority of other mom characters in media.

She’s not a helicopter mom, soccer mom, or tiger mom. She’s not annoyingly overprotective of Ness, or even super strict towards him. Instead, she’s chill, helpful, and laid-back and is basically supportive of whatever he does, which I find neat. She’s one of the best Nintendo parents and is criminally underrated.

Since the game was released during the mid-90s, and a majority of the game takes place in Eagleland, a parody of and highly fictionalized version of 90s America, I wanted to give Rachael an outfit as a homage to that era. Gave her a cute sweater, jeans, and a headband, but kept her original earrings and necklace. I absolutely loved how the outfit turned out, though I feel like the headband could have turned out a little better.
