I think what appeals to me about the Inheritance Cycle tetralogy is that every time Eragon heard a new language, he simply learned it

Like at first the ancient language was so foreign to him but he just immediately was like "tell me all the words pls"

And then the first time he heard the dwarf language he has no idea what it even is but by the end of the series he does know at least a few phrases (if i remember correctly)
