In honor of the Amphibia finale, I draw Anne in her calamity form.

When I first watched this show, it really reminded me a bit of Gravity Falls, as that show really set a whole new trend for modern cartoons nowadays. I instantly took a liking to Anne, and enjoyed watching her journey and all the fun times she had with the citizens of Wartwood and such. I can't believe that we're finally at the end of the course. This show was really something to me during when it would air in summertime.

So thank you, Matt Braly, for giving us this amazing show.

ngl my eyes watered a bit

#also i'm so proud of all my girls #kinda wish there was a little more post-canon content tho #biggest regrets aside from that are darcy not getting as much screentime as they deserved #and andrias's backstory kinda got smushed in towards the end #like it worked fine i just wish there'd been more buildup #also - and i understand why it didn't happen - would've loved to see more super saiyanne as well as the other two #buuuuut plot over cool superpowers i get it

Thinking back on it the Amphibia season 2 finale was an event and a half. First Battle of the Bands lulls us into a false sense of security with cute music and character interactions. Then there's the collective outrage at Disney and iTunes for leaking the episode and the cast and crew begging people not to watch it until the episode proper aired. And then we get into the actual episode that starts with a warning of all things which was unheard of. The action, character interactions, reveals (Andrias outing Marcy for getting them stranded in Amphibia was cold), and after so long theorizing we got the first proper look at Calamity Anne (aka Super SaiyAnne blue). Marcy getting stabbed was just a gut punch. I really miss this show when it went big it went hard

Okay but what if the Calamity girls go Super Saiyanne, fly up the moon, and after destroying the Core and its mechanization, just... Push the moon back into orbit?

This is a moment where the allegedly “dumb as a bag of rocks” Anne comes up with an idea that seems stupid when taken at an unthinking face value, only for it to actually be sensible and work.

I found a lot of fans compare calamity anne with goku, nicknaming her "super saiyanne" and i'm surprised that there isn't much superman comparison, especially when her super form have superman-like cape and Matt braly himself said that him and his team nicknamed her calamity form super-anne as in superman

I think it's the blue hair.

Doesn't Goku have blue hair for a certain form?

Yikes it's finally hitting me that Amphibia is ending this week. I've been watching this show since the bulk drop of eps in 2019 and and I'm gonna be honest i never thought it'd end up meaning this much to me. We started with funky frog adventure shenanigans and now we're finishing off with super saiyanne transformations to black pink discography while defeating the giant lizard cybord led invasion of earth and it turns out the ultimate big boss is the friggin moon and now our protagonists have to use the power of anime and god to defeat the parasitic lunar object in the sky and okay I'm getting off point here, it's just that....this was such an epic journey.

Every single beat of character growth for Anne, Sasha and Marcy was so so good and don't even get me started on Anne and the Plantars. The comedic elements and jokes balanced with all the heartfelt moments from the scene where spring talks about his mom to the confrontation in toad tower and everything that happened in true colors.... This story has just come a long way and it's heartwarming to see these characters that you're so attached to learn to forgive and grow and love themselves and the people around them all the while wrapped up with a doomsday prophecy plot .

Like yes, they have all been through some shit, but they're still here standing strong and smiling and ready to do what's right and isn't that all that matters? It's about Anne learning to love herself and Sasha learning that love doesn't mean control but its letting go and trusting that they'll still choose you and Marcy understanding that you don't need to be together because loves all about being there for each other no matter how far apart and it's about the Plantars opening their hearts and doors to an absolute stranger as on if their own and it's all of them realising that change is constant and forever but it's not that scary when you're together with the people that matter and ugh I'll probably write an even more incoherent essay after the finale cause I just have a lot of feelings about them

Opinión de Amphibia (S1 y S2)

Despues que Anne fuera transportada a otro mundo, donde los anfibios son una especie inteligente. Otra serie de Disney, y pues, me sorprendió un poco. Pensé que iba a ser algo hiper infantil, que más o menos en partes lo es, pero aumenta su calidad.

La primera temporada se encarga de introducirnos al mundo de Amphibia, en especifico el Bosque Verruga, donde conocemos al trio anfibio principal, el abuelo Hop, Polly y Sprig. La primera temporada es más de desarrollo y entender a los personajes. Aunque descubriremos algo...

Al final de la primera temporada, y en la segunda temporada vemos a una de las amigas de Anne, Sasha, una persona tanto controladora que literal manipula a un lider militar para conseguir sus metas, con un rencor fuerte a Anne por el final de temporada.

En la segunda temporada, conocemos a Marcy, una persona torpe y distraida pero con una personalidad algo encantadora, le gusta los videojuegos y además es muy inteligente. Aunque escondiendo un secreto oscuro.

El final de la segunda temporada si está algo bruh, para lo que andaba viendo, pero estuvo bueno, ahora a esperar a avanzar la tercera temporada. Digamos estuvo bueno, y la Super Saiyanne.

So basically the writers blatantly foreshadowed Anne’s powers and I’m just now noticing it. But that raises the question: if the blue around her head was foreshadowing, what does that say about the skull?

In conclusion:
