The Vitalizer: “The bag contains $100,000 courtesy of Brighter Day Bank,” the Vitalizer said and took a seat at the end. One leg went on the floor, the other on the chair’s arm. “Knock yourselves out.”

Fighting Words

This was created by @ally-thorne, who also tagged me for it! Thank you! I’m really behind on tag games, but I’m going to be catching up over the rest of the week. ^_^’

Anyway, the rules are this:  Post a brief scene where you MC is having a fight.

Here is a neat scene from Clockpunk and the Vitalizer 2. No spoilers.

Another slowdown gave Dolores free rein to slip out of the alley. A line of damaged vehicles gave her additional cover, and when she ducked low beneath one sedan’s windows, the men didn’t appear to notice. Now what? I don’t have many options from a crouch. Hold up a second. She placed her hand on the sedan’s chilly door. Dr. Awesome shouted some other insult at his opponent, but Dolores shut them both out to hear the noise around them. It had the usual look of a The Vitalizer visit, with debris flying everywhere and massive damage as far as the eye could see; parts of the area, in motion or not, scratched or clobbered each other. All the activity made a significant ruckus, even with her earplugs. They have to shout to communicate, she thought. They won’t hear me hop inside a car. She tried the door and found it unlocked; she slinked onto the front seat to see a key ring in the ignition. The owner must’ve ditched. Thank you, stranger. Your car’s already totaled from behind, so I hope you don’t mind me taking the wheel… Once more, she slowed time. She turned the key, started the car, and lay across the front row when time elapsed as normal. It gave her time to catch her breath. Since when can he lift a dozen cars at once? He might’ve gotten stronger since our last encounter. I have to stay on my toes. The Vitalizer wasn’t the only person to wisen up since the summer, however. Dolores poked her head just above the dashboard to see the street’s future. In seven seconds he’d be in her sights, though perhaps not for long. She put her gun aside and curled back into the front seat. Three, four, five, six, go. She sat up and slowed time. Her foot hit the gas, her hands spun the wheel out, and she quickly pulled the seatbelt over her chest before ramming into The Vitalizer.
