there’s this fic, where the justice league ask nightwing to join and seeing how comfortable nightwing is with batman (he sits on his chair arm during a meeting i think), they assume they’re dating, it’s kinda crackish, but i really loved it and can’t find it anymore :(

I just made a VERY prominent realisation in terms of Superbat lore

As far as anyone in Gotham or Metropolis is concerned, Batman and Bruce Wayne are hooking up and Superman is in a polyamourus relationship with Pulitzer prize winning journalists Lois Lane-Kent and Clark Kent.

So imagine people's surprise when they see Batman, tangled up with Superman on the side of a building!

The tabloids are running wild, Bruce loves the attention and keeps on fucking with the reporters, while Lois and Clark are slowly going insane over the pressure that is Batman and Superman's passionately homosexual affair.

Not only does this have an affect on Bruce Wayne, it also affects the BATFAMILY as well!

Dick is betrayed, Jason is collecting money from other members of the Batfam, Oracle is disappointed, not because she didn't know, but because THIS is how the fam finds out, Damien is both angry and slightly delighted that there's a chance that he and Jon might become stepbrothers, Steph and Cass are ripping Bruce apart like a pomegranate with Superbat jokes, Selina is appearing on the doorstep to Wayne Manor with a box of pride flags, "to put up in 4 months", and Alfred is trying his best to be the supportive father figure he's been to Bruce almost his entire life, when he knows DAMN well that he's caught Clark Kent hiding in closets that Alfred is putting laundry away in a few months prior.

It's a mess, but like always, Batman and Superman find their way out together.

I feel like there should be both a ship name and a sib name (sibling) for the Bat fam because unlike SuperBat that can refer to any interpretation of their relationship, some don't want to see the ship side and I personally want cute shortened combo names that I can differentiate

Like maybe the ship name is JayDick but the sib name is LittleWing? No space, since the spaced one people already used for Jay's childhood nickname... or HoodWing

Alright Superbat fam, help me out. I’m looking for Bruce/Clark fan fic on AO3. Here’s all I remember about it, and I think the last time I read it was maybeeee four or five years ago? Maybe more? Also, I’m pretty sure it takes place in the DCEU, but I’ll take suggestions from other universes.

So I remember that Clark and Bruce were on like a secret investigation or something. I don’t remember much except for one part where Bruce picks up a lady at a hotel and gets a room with her, and Clark gets jealous. But Bruce had also seen Clark getting hit on by a guy at the bar of the hotel (maybe? Details are fuzzy). So Clark’s room is next door to Bruce’s, and he hears the…you know…nightly activities, and gets jealous. Then next morning, he takes a shower, but Bruce knocks on Clark’s door. Clark answers it and I think the shower is still running, which I think is what makes Bruce assume that Clark had invited the guy from the bar up to his room, and Bruce acts either jealous or annoyed. But it wasn’t finished when I started reading it so I decided to wait until it finished, but now I can’t find it. 😭 If anyone out there has any information, please tell me! Feel free to link any ao3 fan fic that even remotely resembles this. I will search through all of the suggestions. Thank you in advance!

Looking at BatFam/ SuperFam/DC fan art is kinda funny because on one hand you can see beautiful art works from all over the internet, on the other hand it’s often stolen (which is bad in of itself) but also often when it’s stolen it has no information/tags.

So I have no idea if that is SuperBat, TimKon, aged up JonDami, DickKon or anything buckwild like JayDick, JayTim (TimJay? Idk), Bruce x [child] or Dick x Damien or whatever.

But maybe it’s also not shipping content at all but instead just any of the Fams hanging out together.

Bruce patiently (or so he tells himself) waits for the words. Just two. Three without the contraction. Four if he addresses Bruce directly. He’s not an idiot—he knows it would be unbecoming to assume that out of his many children, there would not come a day where he has to prove to them that his love is unconditional, that he accepts any-and-everyone they deem worthy of their love (as long as it’s not someone idiotic like Roy Harper or the likes).

He’s as prepared for it to happen today as he would be any other day.

“Bruce…” This is it, Bruce knows. He already has the I know, and it’s okay on the tip of his tongue. Dick just has to say it first. “You’re gay.”

…

“I’m sorry?”

That is… not what Bruce meant to say. But he can no longer remember what he did mean to say, because Dick looks a picture of empathy and compassion as he pats Bruce on the shoulder. “You’re gay,” he says again, but slower. “It’s been a long time coming, and it was time for you to know.”

Inside Bruce’s head, one would find some kind of hell with static-like white noise and a fog of plain confusion.

I got a different drink and pastry this morning!  The coffee shop had a homemade poptart (brown sugar cinnamon!) and I got one of the seasonal drinks, a hibiscus morning latte.  Both very good!!

I saw???  This new bird???  At the arboretum???  And they are so PRETTY!!!!  A tree swallow!!  I love their shiny blue feathers SO MUCH.

And another new bird for me!!  A Harris’s sparrow.

Not one, but TWO types of woodpeckers!!  A hairy and a red-bellied

My sweet mourning doves, I love them so much!

A goldfinch!!  Female, I think.

White-throated sparrow.  I love their yellow eyebrows!

I think the way you've grown a little more towards a softer Bruce kind of works as I'm reading your fics as they come out cause it's almost like I'm watching the relationships between him and Clark/Diana grow and him become more comfortable showing his softer side to them?

Feels like story progression and character growth rather than sudden ooc placement?

Idk if that made any sense and I could be reading into this too much 😅 but I still absolutely adore your superbat (/superwonderbat) fics !!!!
