AU where SBI are villains, and Kristin is the villain wrangler making sure all the kids who get counseling in her office get a chance to meet who ever they want, even if they’re wanted dead by the hero commission.
Cue meet-cute(?) between Kristin and Phil, where she spends weeks tracking down the infamous “ Crowfather, killer of heroes and hater of the system” because some little kid wanted see him, and she stands tall and totally not terrified (/s) on a rooftop waiting for him.
And Phil is faced with this woman who spent hours and hours researching his routines not to arrest him but to let a little kid meet him, and he just falls for her.
So they exchange numbers, and everytime from there on out when Kristin has a kid who wants to meet The Blade or Orpheus or Nemesis she just casually shoots THE TOP VILLAIN a message, internally screaming, while Phil is kicking his feet on the air like a stereotypical teenager everytime his phone dings with a personalized ringtone.
Hero!Dream: I have finally confronted you, doer of evil! Today, our fight will be legend-
Crowfather!Phil: wait pause mate- OMG ITS HER 🥰🥰
Hero!Dream: wait wha-
Technoblade: I’ll take it from here
And so begins her getting really casual about the fact she personally texts the top villain.
I’m imagining some side stuff where she meets Tommy, a sidekick in desperate need of help (which she’s happy to provide), and a few others who’s relationship evolves with her over time.
Kirstin when first meeting the Blade: hooooooly smokes this guy is Dangerous, but if the kid wants to meet him… I’ll be prepared
Techno: uhhhhhh (struggling to interact with the receptionist, holds kids and swings them around gently like planes, lets them win fake fights)
Kristin: ok wait he’s like seven shaking puppies built like a brick house
She and Phil talk more and more as the arrangement continues, about everything and eventually life, and things shift from there. The first time that a villain tries hurting one of the kids also shifts their relationship…. especially since Kristin handles it as efficiently as she does.
There’s more, but in this AU I imagine Kristin to have a super dangerous power of her own (unregistered because teehee) that motivated her to work with troubled youth in need of help and kids working with a limited lifespan. I want her to be OP but just friendly and downplaying her ability since she was never in a situation to use it to the full extant.
Also there’d obviously be a CrimeBoys plot and adoption of Tommy into the family (bye bye Dream) which leads to her getting invited over to like. Family dinners and stuff, where the interactions are all completely cute and normal but undercut by her perspective reminding her of crimes they’ve all committed. Like-
“Phil, who had the most beautiful eyes but hands stained with the blood of approximately 3,791 people, passed her the salad with a bright smile. His son(?) continued the story of how he met a new friend. Kristin wasn’t sure if the story was in or out of masks, and she was scared to ask at this point.”
I especially want her to and Phil to reflect the two main approaches to changing the world, where you could either completely destroy the system in place (villains, anarchy) and forcefully restart, or you could tackle an issue at its lowest (if the world is full of corrupt people, change the people from a young age)

Out For Blood
Chapter 1
Technoblade attends Theseus Academy: The world's best school for aspiring young super heroes. The only problem? Technoblade doesn't want to be a superhero! Technoblade has tried a ton of things to wash out of the program: He's lied about his power, he doesn't try in his classes, he breaks as many rules as he can, but NOTHING seems to convince the faculty to kick him out! At least he has one teacher Mr. Craft, the totally not suspicious teacher who promised to make sure that Technoblade NEVER becomes a hero. Or: Dark!SBI Superhero AU. Where Technoblade doesn't want to be a hero, and Philza is secretly the world's worst villain who decided Technoblade would be an EXCELLENT protege.

COMMON TROPES IN SBI SUPERHERO/VILLAINS AU FICS THAT I ABSOLUTELY LOVE
The trope where Tommy is the sidekick to the Number One Hero, Dream, and they have a close-knitted bond, plus points if their relationship is unhealthily co-dependent. Reading Tommy struggle as he's torn between the loyalty for Dream or Wilbur and maintaining his duty as a hero never gets old.
Villain Siren Wilbur Soot is my favorite. I know it's been overdone in many, many fics—but having the power to brainwash people through voice and words just fits his character so much, it's like butter and bread, it just works perfectly.
The trope where Tommy is simply minding his own business but finds a wounded, passed out villain on the street— usually its Wilbur, sometimes its Techno— and going on a mental struggle on whether he should save them or call the cops. Bonus points if Tommy has healing powers.
Where Las Nevadas is a neutral ground away from normal laws; your status as vigilante, superhero or villain doesn't matter, Quackity is in charge once you step foot to his domain.
CLASSIC SUPER POWER FIGHTS. VILLAINS AND HEROES DUKING IT OUT.
The dramatic secret identity reveal. Either it's anticlimactic and sort of meh or holy fuck, i need a breather. The latter I'd like to put in example that scene in Everything Costs by AmberRunnel. If you read it, you guys know what I mean.
Where Tommy is an underage minimum wage worker and one of the SBI supervillain/heroes takes an interest on him. Later on the story, They'll persuade him into adoption— illegally, and maybe forcibly— and shower him with affection, Tommy's response to it would depend on how shitty his past and self-esteem are.
Tommy getting kidnapped. I don't need to explain this one lmao.

Tommy can speak to animals.
Normally, someone with this power would become a vet, or work in a pet shelter- but Tommy saw potential in his power- and after months of grinding and saving, he finally burrowed away enough money to do what he’s always wanted to.
He makes a coffee shop- for people and animals.
Now, Tommy knows that stray cats and raccoons don’t seem like wealthy company, but if he communicates with them appropriately, he can turn his 4-legged friends into petty thieves.
Because one thing that all of nature can agree on, is that shiny = good.
So while people are coming into his shop for coffee, idle talks, and a little free entertainment from his company; the crows are bringing him jewelry and stray coins, the raccoons are retrieving broken technology from the garbage, and the stray cats and dogs are bringing in customers.
Tommy, in return for the animals hard work, gets them “gifts.” As much of a gift that you can give creatures that don’t care for money or things that are particularly more tasty than the last thing they ate.
So, the crows are fed to the brim with seeds and dishes overflowing with bread crumbs, and while they eat they rest on his shoulder and nip at his ears while he works. He talks to them while customers are low, and they show off what amazing customers they are by chirping and crowing right back. No one else can understand them, but Tommy does, and he cackles loudly along with the murder of crows resting on his countertop.
When the raccoons wander into his shop, grumpy and untrusting as always, he directs them to a dish of fresh water to clean off in and listens to their chitter chatters, nodding solemnly as they review their memories with him. They’ll leave his shop cleaner and more well-fed than when they entered, and return the next day with gifts from the garbage to acquire another dip in fresh water and a warm biscuit.
The stray cats and dogs are interesting characters with varying needs. They might just be looking for a temporary shelter, or maybe they want saucer of water and ground beef. Sometimes their requests are more time consuming than others, like the dogs that wander up to his counter and whine for a bath to get rid of any flees and ticks. There was even a cat who demanded he stop his work and scratch behind her ears immediately. When he tried to resist, she gave him some pretty aggressive scratches. Well, some customers are nicer than others.
He feels good about his work. He especially feels good when he looks at the statistics of animals on the streets, which have gone down dramatically from his cafe keeping them clean and fed, raising the number of strays that get adopted or taken in by shelters.
Everything is going well!
Until a murder of crows fly up to his door at the end of a long shift, carrying one of the most powerful objects in the world:
The Power Orb.
The Power Orb is a powerful ability enhancer- once they figure out how to utilize it, anyway- that the Heroes and Villains have been fighting over for months, desperate to gain an upper hand over the other in their ongoing war of morals and superpowers.
And Tommy has it in his hands. The ones that are covered in flour, age-old coffee burns, and faint red claw marks.
It’s smaller than he was expecting it to be… and was there always this giant crack in the side?
Phil clutches the Power Orb in his arms as he runs through the chaos. Neither side knows he has it yet, so the fighting continues, abilities clashing in magic, fire, water, lightning, and illusions. His side is bleeding thickly, and his right wing burns as his healing ability fights to keep up with the damage he’s sustained.
There’s a crack in the Orb. No one knows what or who caused it, but the fighting only crescendoed when the Orbs power leaked into the air, uncontrolled. Even now, as Phil hugs the blue, translucent ball to his chest, he can feel his legs shake as it hums throughout his person.
He whistles sharply when he makes it far enough away from the fighting, some dingy alleyway on Southside. Quickly, his crows descend around him, cawing and crowing in a cacophony of sound.
He hands them the damaged Power Orb, rattling off orders about finding a safe place to keep it, and his voice cracks painfully as his entire body shakes with adrenaline.
The murder flies off just as quickly as they arrived, and Phil collapses to the ground, his hand reaching up to cover his mouth as bile crawls up his throat. He hits the emergency button on his wrist, before rolling over to rest his back on the dirty alley wall, gasping in air greedily.
Fuck. He can only hope those damn birds even know the definition of a “safe place.”

SBI superhero AU (shout out to the co-creator of this AU @void-candy !! he helped me lots with this!)
Philza is a superhero, his twin sons are heroes in training, and Tommy is Philza's archenemy, a villain that no one knows his real identity cuz whenever he commits acts of villainy he's inside of this large robot, Sam Nook.
Oh, and Tommy is a 10 years old.
Phil is well-known for consistently emerging victorious from his battles. However, no matter what he does, it seems he can't capture this villain. Which frustrates him even because they have been fighting occasionally for months and with mostly 0 information about this villain's identity.
Expect for this detail the investigators trying to get Tommy's identity noticed, a common factor it's that they only appears when Phil is in hero duty and the villain's attacks don't go beyond petty commotion with minimal collateral damage, almost childish. At least it's something.
Techno and Wilbur are doing their first internship with Phil the next time Tommy appears. It wasn't the first time Phil had back-up or sidekicks, so he isn't really worried.
He should have been, because Techno (and Wilbur but we'll talk abt him later) pretty much kicked his ass.
All SBI are shocked at finding a 10 years old on command of this large menacingly robot.
Meanwhile Tommy it's like "!?!!?! YOU BEAT ME? THAT WAS SO COOL!!! NOT EVEN PHILZA- THE MAN HIMSELF- HAS BEATEN ME IN ALL THIS TIME!!!", all fanboy-ish towards Techno and the latter's reaction is just "...HEH?"
Techno, taking Tommy by the collar of his shirt: uhm. Wil. i caught. the enemy.
Tommy: OMGGG HIIII I'M YOUR BIGGEST FAN DUDE YOU ARE SOOOO COOL THE COOLEST THE BIGGEST BIG MAN EVER, BIGGER THAN ME EVEN.
Techno: .....WE MET 5 MINUTES AGO?
They take him to the authorities they discover that, surprise surprise! he has no legal documentation. So they interrogate him. The only relevant information collected it's that Sam, Tommy's father and who made the robot, died years ago. Tommy says he doesn't remember how Sam died.
Since Tommy's 10, doesn't has legal guardians nor papers; after multiple sessions to assure he hasnt any antisocial traits to be concerned about, its decided that he'll be entering a government-sponsored training course for Little Future Heroes as part of a rehabilitation program.
The funny thing it's that Tommy gets the benefit of choosing or at least propose which heroes would he like to be his mentor, so of course he says "I want the Blade!!!". Apparently Techno has his first number one fan.
Sadly, he gets his request denied because Techno is still a hero in training and it needs to be a professional hero.
Tommy: i want the Blade.
Government: He's literally just 18 he isn't even a professional hero, he can't be your mentor.
Tommy, pouting: damn, i guess I'll have to take Philza...
And Philza is. there. hearing Tommy talk almost dismissive of him after spending months fighting, standing next to him.
Phil thinks of denying Tommy's petition, 'cuz fuck no. he's not gonna accept to have under his wing the person that he spent months trying to capture so that in the end all be a game for him to gain the hero's attention
Buuut, there aren't many heroes to mentor the little blonde (a certain hero is available but Phil doesn't trust them), so he would fall under the government's wing and Phil isn't cruel, he's been working as a hero for years to know it won't be safe for a kid so he accepts it resigned.
That aside, when Tommy got all "haha the blade! THE BLADE :D!!! B l a d e ! ^-^" and fanboy-ish, Wilbur was like "huh- i helped Techno beat you??? Why is he the only cool one here" which Tommy responded with "...who are you".
After that, Wilbur tries to get Tommy's validation, respect and recognition, and God he wonders sometimes if it's even worthy for such a gremlin annoying little child under the excuse of helping Techno get rid of the kid since he clings to him like a leech.
So, now Philza is mentoring a kid aside of Techno and Wilbur, Tommy has become Technoblade's #1 fan and copied his hero costume (Techno told him he'd sue him for copyright), Wilbur only wants to be acknowledge for once and Techno tries to avoid Tommy's awful clinginess.
They'll warm up to the little mischievous blonde running around the hero departament eventually, don't worry <3

New to the blog and loving all of your art!! I’ve been on a comic/superhero kick lately and saw your amazing neopoltian trio hybrid super Au art from way back— do you still have your notes on it?? I would love to know more!
Oh wow, I haven't thought about that AU in a While! I definitely still have some of my notes, but most of them are in my head so all the physical notes are backstory and the first few planned chapters of the fic I was writing 😅
I put so much thought into the worldbuilding and plot of that au, maybe I should revisit it at some point...
Anyways, I'll just copy-paste all my notes below the line for you for now! If you have questions I'll happily answer, whether it's about the characters or the plot or the worldbuilding, I have it all in my head!
Setting:
Basic world lore is that the nether and end realms merged with the overworld(less the end, more the nether) and people started being born with ‘mob’ attributes. It’s semi post apocalyptic, the cities are surrounded by walls attack on titan style and outside the walls are the mobs. The further out you get the more dangerous they are. There are multiple cities and they’re all fairly modern. There are heroes and villains, don’t know how they started yet.
Prologue: Memories of a lost homeland, hope of a promised land.
When the Nether and End spilled into the overworld, so did many other things. Mobs, magic, wildlife, plants. And among those beings was a Virus. Created by the magic of the End and the Nether colliding was a Virus to the world. It started as a sprout in the center of the wastelands, but it grew, attaching itself to travelers and animals, looking for the best host.
ACT 1: The pact of our Youth
Tommy was kidnapped by an illegal organization when he was three, he’s (thought to be)an avian hybrid. He’s roomed with Dream(063.D), who’s around ten at that point, and after Dream gets attached he’s used as collateral so Dream cooperates with the organization’s plans.
Dream is given the resources to teach Tommy as rewards for achievements in training, and since Dream wasn’t always in the organization’s ‘care’ he taught Tommy about the outside world. Dream learned not to go against the organization years before Tommy showed up, so he taught Tommy to be neutral to the scientists.
Dream and Tommy didn’t use names when others could hear, at first it was a way for Dream to try to keep himself distant from Tommy but later it became a habit. Tommy often just called him ‘Green’ around the scientists because he’d compared his eyes to the color when Tommy had been learning, while Tommy was just ‘Star’ because he’d loved stories of the stars. They only called each other by name when they knew they were alone.
Dream is basically Tommy’s only positive attachment until he’s eight, when Dream is sent to work his way up the ranks of the heroes. (Dream is 15 at this point).
Dream leaves willingly, only because the organization promised he and Tommy would be free the moment they get what they want.
Tommy is then roomed with Wilbur and Technoblade, twelve year old Piglin hybrid twins who were recently brought in. Techno has the more obvious Piglin traits, he’s physically stronger, has tusks, and has bright pink hair, while Wilbur is only slightly above average strength wise, has burgundy hair, and is more aggressive to ‘outsiders’.
Tommy is initially wary of the twins, especially since his first interaction with them was Wilbur and Techno trying to attack the scientists as they were brought back to their room, but he slowly becomes curious about why they kept fighting. Eventually, after Wilbur is taken for testing, Tommy asks why they keep fighting. Techno tells him that they don’t belong there. When Tommy asks where they do belong, Techno says ‘Anywhere, as long as we’re together and free.’
There are a few time skips with flashes of Tommy, Techno and Wilbur bonding, Tommy never tells them his real names so Techno names him Theseus, Wilbur and Tommy coming up with stories about creating a nation(called ‘Vienna’, since Wilbur vaguely remembers the name from records of the world before.), Wilbur and Techno noticing that Tommy’s wings are growing gold feathers.
When Tommy is ten and Wilbur and Techno are fourteen, they make plans to escape and, eventually, they do.
ACT 2: hurt and grieve (but don’t suffer alone)
They’re on the streets for two weeks before Wilbur is injured and uses himself as a distraction for Tommy and Techno to escape. A few weeks after that Techno does the same, leaving Tommy alone.
Tommy is by himself for the next few months, until he meets Tubbo, a normal, if neglected, Ram hybrid kid his age. Tubbo hides Tommy in his room during the nights and they play at the park during the days until Tubbo’s parents find Tommy in Tubbos room. They decide to call the police the next day. However Tubbo decides that he’d rather be on the streets with Tommy then at home, alone without him and they run away together that night.
They’re both twelve by the time they’re able to afford a tiny, very much illegal, apartment. Tubbo had made some (somewhat accidental) connections with a trio of Vigilantes during their time on the streets (It’s Aimsey, Billzo, and Freddie because I couldn’t help it) by helping an injured Aimsey. Once Tommy realizes Vigilantes actually exist he starts planning to become one and take down the organization.
While all of this has been happening:
Wilbur and Techno were back with the organization, separated and under higher security. They knew the other was there but not how they were. After months of this there was a Hero Raid.
Techno was found by Philza, the no.1 hero, and he refused to go with them, fighting to find Wilbur. Philza went after him and eventually found Techno hugging Wilbur in a training room. Wilbur refused to let Philza near them until Techno convinced him to relax.
Techno and Wilbur didn’t trust anyone except Philza, and tried to run away from police custody multiple times to find Tommy. It wasn’t until Philza visited again and promised to look for Tommy that they calmed down. Philza got custody of them and they insisted on joining the Hero training program.
When Philza goes to tell the other heroes to keep an eye out for Tommy he’s pulled aside by Dream, a up-and-coming Hero who’s rising through the ranks rapidly. Dream tells him that the Hero commission is corrupt and that telling them would put Tommy in danger, insisting that he knows Tommy’s safe.
Back with Tommy:
They end up hacking into police records and find notes of a hero raid on an unknown illegal experimentation operation. They obviously decide to join in. In the chaos Tommy finds Ranboo hiding in a room deep in the building, away from the Heros and Scientists. Ranboo insists that he can’t be found by the Heros and, after Tubbo meets up with them, Tommy agrees to bring him with them and they escape the (now burning) building.
Wilbur was one of the heroes helping evacuate the area and he sees Tommy leaving with Ranboo and Tubbo, he recognises Tommy’s hair and Tommy’s wings look gold because of the fire. He calls for Theseus and Tommy turns back to look at him before disappearing in the crowds.
ACT 3:
Years later, Tommy and Tubbo are 16, Ranboo is 17, they’re all vigilantes.
https://archiveofourown.org/works/33003292
(That's all the notes I have specifically written out for plot for now, but I wrote a few chapters of a fic for this AU before I got too busy to write. I linked it there.)
Ages throughout the story:
Tommy: 3-8 when he’s with Dream, 8-10 with Wil and Techno, 10-12 on the streets and with Tubbo, 12-16 with Ranboo and Tubbo
Dream: 10-15 when he’s taking care of Tommy and being trained, 15-19 training as a hero to talking to Philza, 19-23 fully fledged hero
Wilbur and Techno: 12-14 with Tommy, 14-16 being saved to starting basic hero training, 16-20 looking for Tommy and becoming fully fledged heroes.
Philza: Old (/j, probably around 28 when he meets Wil and Techno
Powers/Hybrid traits:
Tommy:
Thought to be an Avian (a hybrid with permanent bird-like traits) but later realizes that he can hide his Hybrid attributes, making him Elytrian.
I haven’t actually decided his power yet haha
Techno:
A Piglin Hybrid, has enhanced physical strength, tusks, and pink hair.
His power is to manipulate Gold, shaping it into whatever he needs. He discovered it when he was on the run with Tommy, stealing a gold ring as a last-minute weapon. Once he becomes a hero he wears multiple pieces of gold jewelry and his trident is made of solid gold.
Wilbur:
A Piglin Hybrid, has slightly enhanced strength, burgundy hair, and is more aggressive and possessive than the average person.
His power is sound manipulation, using high frequencies to disorientate people and corrupt enemy frequencies. (I was thinking of giving it a physical effect as well but idk what)
Philza:
An Elytrian Hybrid, has the typical Avian attributes but is able to ‘de-summon’ them at will.
I had way more stuff for worldbuilding but I got a new phone and the transfer deleted the app it was written in 😔
I do, however, have playlists for all the characters where the songs follow their full personal plot in the story. Granted, y'all wouldn't understand most of it, since you don't know the plot, but still, they exist😅
