hiii!! thank you so much!! I’m so glad you like the redesigns! do you have a favorite? 🥹 I use two apps, one called SuperimposeX and another called Studio (or GoDaddy Studio, previously called Over)! 😄

I just create them on my phone! (I’m not about to purchase a Photoshop subscription!) 🤣 although SuperimposeX did cost but it wasn’t by much and it has loads of features!

I would like to apologize in advance for this monstrosity… but here we go. The other night I discovered a new obsession in creating “movie posters” based on classic film posters. Rather than sleeping, I spent a few hours on superimposex, phonto, polarr, and driving myself to the point of near insanity to recreate a classic “Grease” poster with a twist.

In a conversation with my brother -a fellow lover of DC & Marvel- I asked which character he could see being in a production of Grease; we very quickly agreed on Ray and the rest quickly fell into place. Anyway, enjoy this monstrosity of a scrap edit with Ray Palmer and Nate Heywood in “Waverider.”

FINAL COURSE REFLECTION BLOG

Overall this semester showed me a new level of design and editing. I already have experience in video making with stuff on YouTube and TikTok. But I never was really familiar with the adobe editing softwares. Anytime I made a thumbnail or logo I used SuperimposeX. An app in the apple store, the course showed me the general use of indesign, photoshop and illustrator. I can see myself using photoshop outside of class for more in-depth designing. Most of the projects that required the use of indesign I had a bit of a struggle with because I think it's a more difficult software to use. I love the logo project I think my logo came out really good. I enjoyed the course overall and it showed me a lot and added more to my design skills with an introduction to these adobe apps.

miss angel how to make those banners! both the ones for the main display and the tiny thin ones :0

hewwo bb! for my main headers, I clean up panels on photoshop and change the lineart/background colours via different blending options on there. @blahkugo edits the text on for me and other lil edits here and there on her phone. All of my headers have gone through her! hehe

for the tiny thin lines, I used a screenshot of my blog’s background colour (the pink!) and this website to crop it super thin. I know some of my friends do it on ms paint or other apps, but that’s what I personally use.
