i try to keep this blog relatively fun but with the recent news from the US supreme court i would like to let you all know that this blog supports abortions and anyone who makes the difficult decision to have one. abortion is a fundamental right and no one should be able to force another person to remain pregnant.
here are some resources
if you have any more pop them in the replies or reblog with more

with the heard case results and now roe v wade being overturned we desperately need and hopefully will see another actual wave of feminism happen and i'm begging so many of you on here to learn the difference between feminism and transphobia and to stop writing all feminism off as t/rf ideology and learn to think critically. all it does is hurt women and trans people, and especially trans women. and to stop calling people who clearly aren't feminists t/rfs. because the people who are making the laws don't give a shit about women OR trans people. misogyny and transphobia are so closely linked (i wonder why...) and writing off all feminism as transphobic is going to help t/rfs recruit vulnerable and angry young women/girls while helping the masses to write off the feminism that we so desperately need. we need to unite together to fight the patriarchy that oppress us ALL to make a tangible difference against misogyny and transphobia. feminism inherently supports and includes trans women because they are women, and those sprouting any other kind of idea have a deep misunderstanding of feminism and lots of displaced anger and hatred.

imho the left had just as much issue with philosemitism as Christian Zionists but in different ways and it’s become super obvious with the open season on the Jews. Like there’s been years of posts treating Judaism like the ultimate liberal self-help book rather than its own complex and varied set of traditions and cultures with their own cultural inter community complexities and problems (right wing tziyonut, the political actions of medinas yisrael, and colorism among others) as the oppositional Good Religion that was everything Christianity was not. Like people kept holding up Judaism as the Good Ones when it came to abortion, birth control, lgbt rights, trans rights, and so forth and it’s true many Jews (though not all) do hold progressive opinions on those topics including those who consider themselves religious but treating a whole group as either a moral positive or negative is so strange especially once after some Jews in a specific part of the world started doing something really bad, people everywhere have decided that Jews as a whole and Judaism as a whole are morally corrupt and impure and at the heart of the worlds problems

From Secular-Pro-Life
[ID: Two photos sit opposite one another. The photo on the left is of a woman holding a sign that says, “I am a progressive pro-choice woman running for congress. My run is possible because of the abortion I had at 18.” The other photo is also of a woman holding a sign, as well as her child. The sign reads, “They told me I couldn’t be a successful teen mom so I’m proving them wrong.” End ID]
On a personal note, as the daughter of a teen mom who had to fight against pro-abortion, sexist bs just to have me AND succeed, I don’t want bigoted child killers claiming to represent me. You don’t get to preach how awesome it was to be able to kill your child for “success” and then turn around to say people like me, the literal could-be victims of abortion, should be represented by you. Fuck that noise. Less death, more love and support. Do better and be better.

I really don't understand how the pregnancy boards are so rabidly pro-abortion.
A woman was asking for advice as her husband was really struggling with their unexpected pregnancy since her last postpartum period was so difficult and he stepped up in a big way to support her and the family. It was stressful so he is understandably struggling.
But like 5 women jumped all over her like, "so it's your choice but you didn't even discuss an abortion?! You didn't even get his input if he wanted the baby or not?"
What a ghoulish mindset. No, they reacted like adults who accidentally got pregnant and started with facing and accepting the consequences of their actions.
Of course now she is like, "well, I guess I have to get one if he doesn't want the baby"
Just so gross.
And it is always shutdown to tell an abortion minded woman to consider that choice further to see if it's really the best option that she thinks it is. But this is fine, to berate a woman for not immediately thinking "I should just kill it"

i am an unapologetically Pro Abortion On Demand At Any Time No Questions Asked and i think i am open enough about this that so is anyone following me so this is preaching to the choir. and i feel weird about it in some ways anyway because, again: the question of abortion is you trust women & others who are pregnant to make choices about their bodies or their lives, or you don't. period. end of story. don't care why, don't care about context, don't care about anything except: do you want to be pregnant anymore? no? okay, you deserve an abortion. but. even so. even with all that. i do still keep seeing takes on the internet (my first mistake) that make me want to print out copies of this interview with a woman who had an abortion at 32 weeks on every wall in the fucking country. i want everyone who feels the need ever but especially at this moment in time to proclaim that they're pro-choice but only up to X amount of time to read it and understand exactly what fucking cruelty they're supporting.
and i also want to point out that this woman was a woman carrying a wanted child, living in blue state new york, who found herself, against all her expectations, flying on a plane to fucking colorado and traveling back a day and a half later, because the alternative was spending another month pregnant and having a C-section to watch her child either be stillborn or choke to death in front of her right after being born. that's what people are endorsing when they endorse late-term abortion bans, and it is your first day on planet earth if you think that there is any degree of codifying medical exemptions that is going to prevent situations like this from occurring. and if your first response to that is to think about how lucky she was to be able to actually do that instead of how horrific it is that she had to deal with that in an already traumatic moment of her life, something important inside you has been badly broken and you need to reflect on how to fix it.

Saw two strongly pro-choice blogs lamenting a case of infanticide from history because the baby was born irregular.
"so sad"
I don't get it. If the mom had had access to abortion, she'd have gotten one. The culture was Like That. How is infanticide of a presumably -disabled child sad when the abortion of disabled children isn't?

its so weird to me abt how trans men are always left out in posts abt feminism and shit. like i saw a post earlier saying something abt trans women especially needing support in light of roe v wade being overturned and its like..... i get what youre saying but theres another subsection of trans people who are gonna need support quite a bit more, who are going to be affected by this in a particularly nasty way. care for your brothers, not just your sisters
