hey man. you know what. school finally did it. made me watch a movie that i liked. enjoyed even. would 100% watch again. all it took was a two and a half hour surrealist adaptation of titus andronicus

being a writer with an established interest in horror basically involves an endless cycle of daydreaming something extremely fucked up and in a rare moment of self-awareness going “…hey, that was a little too fucked up wasn’t it?” only to add it into your story anyway because it was fucked up enough for YOU to feel fucked up about it

#my favourite type of horror story is one that has all of the gruesome grotesque thriller which is juxtaposed by eccentric characters that #feel as though they shouldn’t belong in a horror but they do #creators who manage to perfectly blend surrealist horror and indulgent gore with silly comedy and fun character dynamics are my inspiration
