If Punz was a tiktoker, he’d be 1 of those 2 dudes who appear on everyone’s for you page for the sound ‘6 feet tall and super strong’

Tends to use the same sounds on repeat which annoys new followers; old followers are quick to go 'first time?'

FUN IN THE SUN.

n. wooo, haven’t been here in a hot minute, but this is an imagine for @sushisoot ‘s writing event! i was gonna post this the night before the deadline but school was kicking my butt :( p. p!ranboo x gn!reader ( reader uses they/them prns! ), p!niki x reader ( if you squint ) w. 565 words. highschool au. volleyball team. this is not haikyuu lmao :D

Today was the final game of the volleyball season, and Y/n was not feeling it.

Their legs were super sore from so many days of practice, and they felt like their legs were going to collapse. Plus, the game was outside, so the heat would be unbearable.

Y/n looked up to see their coach speaking to them, and trying to soothe everybody’s nerves.

“I want you guys to try as hard as you can, remember this our last game. If we win, I’ll be so proud of you guys, but if we lose, I’ll still be proud of you, because you did your very best. Alright, the game starts in 5 minutes, I’ll allow you guys to chat with your fellow teammates in the meantime.” She waved her hand as a sign of dismissal, and the team dispersed.

Y/n walked over to her teammate and the team’s libero, Niki. They greeted her with a smile and quick hug.

“Y/n!” Niki gushed, “How are you this morning?” Her light pink hair with up in a low ponytail, and her jersey with blue with white accents, whereas Y/n’s was white with blue accents.

“I’m good! Pretty nervous for this match but I’m feeling confident that we could win!” Y/n replied.

The two engaged in a bit of small talk, chatting about school and daily life struggles, you know, the usual. Their conversation got slightly interrupted by their coach motioning them to come over and do team handshakes.

As the team lined up, Y/n found themselves to be stuck between their two closest friends, Niki and Ranboo. Niki was the team’s libero, because of her agile build and high stamina, and Ranboo was the team’s middle blocker, mainly because of his height. Y/n was the team’s setter, and Ranboo and they were two of the team’s important players, mainly because of their sets and his impactful spikes.

The two teams all high-fived each other, as a sign of good luck, and went to their coaches.

“Ok you guys, get ready, and stay focused, you all know who’s first on the lineup. Y/n?”

They looked up to the eyes of their coach, who gave them a beaming smile. “Spike well.”

They nodded, and their coach brought them all in for a team huddle. All of them stuck their hands in the middle, and yelled “Go, team!” The team spread up, some sitting on the bench, and some staying on the court.

Y/n ran to their place, in the right front, and found Ranboo already there.

“You ready?” Y/n questioned.

“Always,” Ranboo replied, moving some hair strands out of his face.

“You know,” Y/n said, fixing their kneepads, “if we were to 1v1 each other in a volleyball match, I could like, totally beat your ass.”

Ranboo started to chuckle. “You can’t even reach my knees.”

Y/n started to laugh, and stuck their tongue out at him. The blow of a whistle indicated the start of the match, and the two turned to face their opponents.

“After this match, we better settle who’s better,” Y/n whispered.

“At the park, whoever wins pays for dinner?” Ranboo answered.

Y/n nodded, and the two shook hands, determined to win both matches.

Turns out, Ranboo lost money, and Y/n got to tease him about his ‘sucky’ volleyball skills.
