Because of how many characters I’ll be mentioning, I’ll try and simplify it as much as possible. I’ll be making a more in depth explanation about their relationships on @teammateswap-au once I get that going! So uh please be patient with me!! I am stupid and cannot read or write /lh.

(Also follow that account btw nothing’s there yet except for me freaking out about teammateswap susie appearing in a deltarune memes video. still boggles my mind. still not completely over it btw—)

Before I start, I already talked about Kris and Berdly’s relationship (along with Berdly’s relationship with Susie and Noelle) in THIS post! So I won’t be talking about Berdly’s relationships in this post (except for like…with Ralsei since I didn’t mention him)

Ok so everything’s under the cut have fun reading my incoherent ramblings :

KRIS - SUSIE :

They’re childhood friends! They’ve had their ups and downs but they’re still very close! Susie is basically Kris’s honorary sibling and is pretty much considered a part of the Dreemurr family. She, like with all of her friends (...and Berdly), is very protective over Kris. They’re bffls. Ride or die even—

KRIS - NOELLE :

They also knew each other when they were kids. However, Noelle was more aloof and clingy towards her family (mostly her sister). She didn’t really like hanging out the Dreemurrs. Now, they’re friendly with each other! Are they friends? Ehhhhh... Noelle sees Kris as a friendly acquaintance. (However, she would be very touched if Kris refers to her as a friend.)

SUSIE - NOELLE :

Susie is shy around strangers (around cute girls in general) but she out right avoided Noelle. Mostly because she didn’t want to make a fool out of herself. (She still did anyways but Noelle found it to be cute) Noelle always made an effort to get to know Susie more. (She tries to get acquainted with all of her classmates.) But she failed…Susie was very shy before. Noelle’s more caring to her compared to everyone else. (Mostly because of her shy and kind nature.) Eventually, they do become friends! (Friends who have GIGANTIC crushes on each other. That they’re acutely aware of but doubt the other has a crush in them. Because “Why would someone like HER like someone like ME?”)

SUSIE - RALSEI : Susie and Ralsei aren’t TOO close currently (Susie is still shy around strangers.) But they’re still friends! He tries to be really gentle with her but also teases her from time to time. (And Susie, again, is protective over Ralsei. A little more protective compared to others.) Susie actually thinks Ralsei is very adorable and (accidentally) comments on that fact. (And she gets teases by Ralsei for it) I actually talked about these 2 before! Didn’t really change that much stuff but still going to share regardless. Their relationship doesn’t change a lot—

NOELLE - RALSEI * : Noelle likes messing with Ralsei (because she’s a menace to society). Ralsei doesn’t particularly mind Noelle but wish she was a little nicer.

BERDLY - RALSEI * : Berdly thinks Ralsei is cute. WHOA WHO SAID THAT???? Anyways, ignoring that, like everyone else, Berdly talks down and condescends to Ralsei. Not really taking him all too seriously. Ralsei doesn’t have any opinions on Berdly. He just…kinda exists to Ralsei.

* Because Noelle and Berdly haven’t really gotten to know Ralsei in game (like…regular deltarune), this is speculation.

fandom's need to make everything romantic is literally so annoying bc it completely disregards all interesting character moments for the sake of romance. like when ppl say susie saved kris at the end of chapter 1 bc she likes him?? when it was rlly abt how she's violent and mean as a defensive mechanism bc no one likes her and she doesn't have friends but when kris befriended her and saved her she was able to let down her walls and honestly care abt people!!! not to mention it shows how ride or die she is for her friends!!!!! like!! boiling it down to "she has a crush on him" ruins the entire moment and does a disservice to susie's character :/

holy shit susie is like. an allllllllllllllllllllllllll-time favorite character. she's right up there next to nighteyes, and if you know realm of the elderlings you understand how high of a praise that is. because like basically everything that comes out of nighteyes's mouth quite literally changed my life forever he is a very special, very beautiful character. but i think i'd put susie above him any day

everything about her is so well done. watching her grow and develop is the most delightful thing i've ever seen. when i first played chapter 2 i had to keep stopping to like. explode whenever she was on-screen. because she's just so much happier now. and it made me very happy as well. i adore that she stays rough around the edges but she also becomes one of the kindest, most compassionate characters in the game. she loves her friends so goddamn much. she has an abundance of love in her heart and all this time it was just waiting for someone to take the time to get to know her and extend a hand in friendship towards her... and now it's all pouring out and it's affecting everyone all around her and it's so. auudhhuhuguahy. susie.

oh my god she has so many friends. which i think is so important. lancer, kris, ralsei....and i think she and berdly have a very good friendship dynamic in the works :)

i feel like her friendship with ralsei is the one that gets overlooked the most... she sees him as 100% one of her ride or die besties, as indicated by her response to his tea. you can tell in ch1 and in the very beginning of ch2 that she's slightly put off by him. she just isn't sure what to make of him, which i think comes from the fact that like. she's such a perceptive person. she can read people with an unerring accuracy, but ralsei is. very good at masking himself and presenting the version of himself that he thinks people want to see. and i think susie can see right off the bat that that's what he's doing, and it makes her uneasy. she's also very candid, you know? just unapologetically herself at all times, even if people don't like it. and also, i think his rather harsh criticisms of her from chapter 1 kinda linger in the back of her head when she looks at him...

but then they spend almost the whole day in cyber world together, letting both of their guards down a little bit and getting to know each other in a more honest way. susie's suspicions of him are banished because she realizes they're not so different; they're both lonely kids who never got a chance at friendship. his way of reconciling with that is just a lot different than hers. they spend an afternoon growing and learning together...away from the player's influence. and i think that's really special and important.

They’re cute!

I love suselle (they are adorable and they’ve had crushes on each other for so long but are so oblivious to the other’s feelings, due to not knowing the other rly well and *glances at Susie* to having such low self worth that they can’t really believe it.)

and Krusie (as bros but they’re cool also. The two weird kids w issues become ride and die menaces who like to cause problems on purpose. They seemed very lonely, and it’s nice to see that their relationship developed enough for them to regard each other so positively. Possible angst w possession).

I don’t really like Kris and Noelle romantic but they are rly good as friends so sure I guess (childhood friends who fell apart likely with time and w the dess incident but still care about each other and seem to long for the closeness they once had, and in one path, they become close again. The other is snowgrave, in which we fuck up their relationship completely but they do still care for each other even then)

All of them together form a nice dynamic, I like this trio! Whether it’s romantic or platonic, as long as they’re together things will turn out alright.

my best friend was on call with me while i played, and when kris originally fell down his only words were “why are we blue?”

AND ON THE TOPIC OF LANCER,

he just randomly decided he wanted to voice lancer, and he gave him the NASAL-IEST VOICE EVER, AND I FUCKING LOST IT

also, some of my favourite moments so far (weve gotten to the part where susie switches teams to go work with lancer now??) are, when we chose to compliment lancer, and said that we cant tell his clothes from his body, when the game said lancer was too young to ride a motorcycle so he lit his bike on fire instead, when my friend went - in lancers voice - “can i have some of your money? i need a new bike. my old one mysteriously went up in flames,” and when i picked lancers note out of the hat and my team got dubbed the lancer fan club

im in love with this already.
