Honestly though, the thing is, even though I still think that he wasn't right leaving Obi-wan kenobi (his padawan!) alone at Melida/Daan, I also get why he did what he did? Like it wasn't the best or the most right thing to do, yes, but I also get that it was the necessary thing to do. First of all, yes, Obi-wan was his padawan, but ultimately Obi-wan was also his own person. It was a matter of choice between staying with the Jedi or helping the young because Jedi were not supposed to get involved in war. Qui-gon did not have the right to dictate what Obi-wan chose. He doesn't get to make Obi-wan stay with the order, had he chose not to, because it was not Jinn's choice to make. It was Obi-wan's. One could argue that he was still a minor, but, again, that doesn't erase the fact that Jinn does not get to decide for Obi-wan. leaving the order is a big deal.
Secondly, the jedi weren't supposed to join wars, they were peacekeepers. The political implications of joining the war may mean escalating the conflict and involving more innocents. Not to mention, they had no plan at all. Getting involved in such serious matter without any concrete plan could just prolong the conflict, risking their lives for nothing and ultimately making the situation worse.
Thirdly, as established above- there was a mission they had to complete. Obi-wan's sense of justice was understandable and justifiable and he wasn't wrong, but we can also argue that Jinn wasn't completely in the wrong either. Opting to choose the mission first wasn't unjustifiable, it was a task they had to complete and it isn't exactly the most righteous thing to do to leave a mission unfinished to start another, because then you'd end up with two incomplete missions, and even more possible victims. Also, again, someone was literally trying to murder Yoda. Qui-gon was definitely not wrong in wanting to rush back to try and solve an attempted murder case. Again, it was an unfortunate situation with difficult choices to make for both Obi-wan and Qui-gon, and arguably neither prioritized their ego! Both of them made choices they both deemed was for the greater good, was for the sake of saving people. There was valid points in their actions, neither was completely guilty or guiltless. They're both just people, after all. They try their best, but are still very flawed persons.
Also, all that aside, what's to say that Jinn didn't feel guilty and returned as soon as he could? traveling in space takes a good while, yknow. In the end, both their choices had been necessary, even though it wasn't the best or most right one. They're not bad people, Obi-wan and Qui-gon, they were trying to make the best of an ultimately unfortunate situation.
Conclusion: Qui-gon wasn't entirely right, but this doesn't make him a bad person.
Then begs the question: what was the best choice? I guess, in my opinion, the best choice would've been for Obi-wan to go back to the order with his master, discuss plans with the council, and then ultimately split the job between several jedi, some for the case, and some for Melida/Daan. However, again, factoring in the urgency of the situation, as well as other matters, the choices they did make were simply necessary choices, albeit not being the best or most right one.

Sharing a thought I had in a reply regarding Sabine being force-sensitive and that being an unnecessary retcon that offenss the drama and development of her journey with the Darksaber:
"I hold out hope that they used "aptitude" (quoted from Huyang) deliberately here; she's not especially sensitive to it, but she meshes well with it and has a bent toward acting according to its whims and walking its lines, even if it can't speak with her or show her the connectors that otherwise sensitive folks can see."
"Tldr she's on its wavelength even moreso than most, even if she doesn't have the tools to project it to her senses like a Jedi would."

I don't think Force-Ghosts are real :| HEAR ME OUT!!!
What do we KNOW about The Force, alright?
It's an energy-field penetrating and connecting all things in the Universe
Jedi talk about the dead "Becoming One with The Force"
Jedi talk about "Listening to The Force" and "a Connection to The Force" and "the Will of The Force" and "The Force Moving/Working through them"
I think Force-Ghosts are just an easier way for The Force(which is PROBABLY the Universe? But that's another post) to talk to people, using the forms, voices, and personalities of dead people they know so they won't go COMPLETELY insane from, you know, THE FRIGGING COSMOS trying to communicate with their little ant-brains u_u u_u

I’ve seen some fans disappointed that the flashback scene didn’t take place during the Clone Wars. I know we all want to see Hayden and Ewan in those General uniforms 😅
But I still have hope! Hayden is confirmed for the Ahsoka series. And the Clone Wars were Ashoka’s most formative years, so a flashback to that era would only make sense, right?

10 Reasons why I think tech is alive and well…and evil
1. The looks
Besides the similar front part of their helmets, their stances and movements show a resemblance.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
2. Fight movements
Right when I saw this scene it felt familiar to me and then I remembered this very moment of season one. It’s the same attack…
If Tech was forced through the clone x/assassin program, he would’ve been robbed of most of his individuality, like fighting with two blasters for example, while clone x was shown fighting with all obvious choices of weapons of his 99 brothers : sniper rifle, knife and hand to hand combat. They also could’ve shown him with a usual blaster…
3. Relying on Technology
There were multiple moments where clone x checked on his arm data pad, even after it was broken after the building collapsed and his reinforcements had already arrived.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
4. Voice / Noises
Sounds familiar? Tech is the only clone that has a visible British accent and there were definitely hints of that in clone x voice. Also the voice modulator seemed to be a little stronger than with the other clone assassins we’ve seen before, I wonder why…
And when you compare the grunts, they literally sound the same!
5. The height change
A few days into the third season of tbb Star Wars officially changed the height for tech and we all wondered why…. my theory is that they did that because tech's legs got injured after the fall and when the empire put him into the shadow assassin program his height went down to his new height.
Changed the height from 6’4 to 5’10
Tumblr media
6. “But crosshair would know if it was tech”
Probably, but would he tell them? It took him a good while to tell anyone about the information he has gained in his imprisonment..he is still hiding things and if he knows I believe he doesn't want them to know, fearing they would try to get him back and he has realised that there is no chance to do so...the program these clones go through is so much stronger than what the inhibitor chip was.
Also this scene hits a lot different, if it's actually techimplicating this could be a reference to crosshair choosing to stay with the empire instead of the batch at the end of s1
There is also a scene in tantiss where he looks back at clone x...
Tumblr media
7. THE PARALLELS
There were multiple parallels to significant moments and situations that
Tech went through.
- THE FALL sry to remind yall of plan 99, but clone x fell in that tower after crosshair shot his explosive and also in the waterfall fight.
- LIMPING after clone x got injured when the base collapsed, it was like the scenes in season 2 after a crate fell onto techs leg. Also important quote from this episode " I'm a survivor. Remember?"
8. This exact shot
the similarity of these specific shots is undeniable. And both when they come out of the water? Like?!
Tumblr media Tumblr media
9. He’s too pretty to die
No but for real, storytelling wise IT HAS TO BE someone important.my other guesses are Cody, another 99 clone or (brace yourself) a clone of crosshair, like an evil twin
10. Maybe I just miss him

how much do you want to bet that these flowers will be placed on one of her brother’s graves in the end
and what if, instead of a bunch of pink ones, there are dozens of pure white ones

She was putting the batches artifact there tech glasses and the doll use to belong to wrecker. They will truly be artifacts when wrecker dies . This makes me super sad because he is my favorite . But I think it's forshadowing on how the series will end

I love the number of fanon illegitimate and adopted children everyone foists on Obi-Wan. Korkie, Cal, Anakin, Ahsoka, Luke, Leia, literally every child he comes into contact with, and a few he doesn't, just results in a fandom kneejerk reaction of "that's a dad right there."
(Hells, we see him interact with Nuna and even if that's not his kid, the way he acts is just Pure Dad Mode. Amazing.)
IDK how Ewan McGregor managed to get literally thousands of people to look at his 33yo self (with artificial grey hairs, admittedly) and go "that's a father, right there. That's a bona fide Dad. He's got at least a few kids." but he did it. Maybe everyone--including the TCW team--looked at him holding CGI baby twins and went "oh. Oh we gotta do something with that."
Tumblr media
You know the one. (Source: @yeahyeahyeaaah)
And like. He has no kids. Canon says he has no kids.
Yet we all* know that, deep down, that man is a dad.
* "All" is a deliberate exaggeration. This is not an objective truth or universal belief, just a very common one that I find enjoyable as heck.

I’m going to say it. The last episode of The Bad Batch series, The Cavalry Has Arrived, will be Rex arriving with his crew and fucking shit up.
Bonus points for Ahsoka being there as well and Wolffe just saying “fuck this shit” and turning on the Empire with his men following suit.
Extra bonus points: all the clones in the facility who are not prisoners turn on the Empire as well. One big giant fucking clone rebellion.

OK wait. Hold the fucking phone for a minute. I think I'm onto something here.
Omega has reached a new level of badass since returning to Tantis. From the moment she entered the vault she's been cool, calm, and confident.
Tumblr media
This is the face of a girl with a plan, and with absolute faith in her brothers.
We've all been assuming that faith is in Hunter, Crosshair and Wrecker. But what if it's faith in someone else, too?
Tumblr media
And hey, come to think of it, remember how we all thought it was weird that one episode ended with Omega alone with CX-2, then the next opened with him handing her over to Hemlock? Remember how rushed and unnatural it felt to have our protagonist alone for hours with the mystery villain and not get to see a single second of it?
And OH MY GOD look at this fleeting expression the moment CX-2 bends to undo her cuffs, before she quickly averts her gaze.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now let's go over her dialogue with the kids again:
"Want to know a secret? I escaped from this mountain before"
"Really?"
"How?"
"I had training. And I wasn't alone. Know what else? I'm doing it again. And I'm taking you all with me."
What if Omega told us a lot more than we realize? She has a secret. She knows she's not alone.
