TDLR: Overworked town’s mum keeps everyone from myth-inspired danger but has horrible people skills, leading to a widespread mistrust of her. Which... definitely doesn’t help her Nemesite creature version of a Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde situation.

Song Vibe Check: Saint Bernard, Alien Blues, Cinderella’s Dead, Mind and Body Daughter of The Phalanx’s Lieutenant General Sebastian and Principal Investigator Elizabeth, Nicole’s chances of normality were slim. Raised to be the perfect Phalanx soldier, she took to heart placing the lives of the townsfolk first, believing wholeheartedly that it was the Phalanx’s duty to protect the innocent townsfolk from the nightmarish creatures which lurked within the woods. Even as the Phalanx have begun restructuring to focus more on their own research, she continues to patrol the woods, answer citizens’ concerned messages, and douse Beoren fires. The only issue? With rising political tensions, the townsfolk have become skeptical of how much the Phalanx actually wish to help them and how much they can trust Nicole...  Recently, she has begun to notice a connection between her and the primal power known as Nemesis... Which has begun manifesting in a Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde like transformation she is struggling to control. With the ability to transform into a Nemesite, she must be careful not to be discovered by her fellow Phalanx Operatives. 

Fun Facts:

Nicole will near wear dresses. They restrict movement far too much in the case of a sudden surprise attack.

Nicole’s main weapons are a sword and a sword breaking dagger, which she has lovingly nicknamed Blade and Ripsword. 

When she gets extremely bored on patrols, she begins whittling little animals out of random twigs.

One of her greatest arch enemies currently is a radio demon version of Big Bob, from the WWTP radio. 

Nicole is incredible at the bass guitar, a skill that is rarely seen.

Her top priority is her younger sister, Adelaide (Addie) Adderley. She will do everything to keep her safe, and cares more for her than anyone else.

Nicole used to date Joy Kelman, the far too young head of the Ministry of Joy. They broke up when she discovered what the Ministry was really doing, and has vowed to take them to justice. It has been a good few months, maybe even year now. There is no sign of that justice sticking due to Joy’s exceptional manipulation skills.

So I was gonna wait till I had good dialogue to post this fake screenshot sketch, but then I figured, wait, it's more fun to have others come up with something for her to say. So go ahead in the comments lmao!! This is SW3-A, also known as 3-A or Tria. She's a manifestation of the ride soul of Nemesis and I've been working on her lore a lot recently. The thing on her horn is a translator as her vocal cords don't work well with human languages, sometimes she gets the translations slightly wrong or misunderstands, but she's doing her best!

also SW nobunaga's (japanese) voice acting is absolutely fucking iconic (up thru 4, at least) so if for no other reason just...... just look up any cutscene it's amazing. His sword makes lightsaber noises in sw3 and he has the most iconic fucking evil laugh it's exceptional.

Motochika respected Nobunaga on many levels. That uncompromising dedication to his morals, his beliefs, his chaotic and provocative nature was something Motochika himself could understand because it echoed much of his own tumultuous soul. That did not mean he trusted him. To do such a thing would be beyond foolish... and a clash between the two of them was inevitable while the land’s fate rested in the hands of the Demon King. Motochika didn’t particularly see value in delaying that clash through alliance, either, but because Mitsuhide asked, and because Mitsuhide's gentle soul would no doubt burn and scar with the consequences of following his chosen Lord soon, Motochika agreed to one anyway. It was inviting further pain for his beloved friend but there was no real path that avoided it, was there? Were Mitsuhide the sort to not be hurt by the life he was inevitably going to lead, well... Motochika probably wouldn’t love him as much as he did.

The Tau Herculid Meteor Shower — Possible Outburst | Spaceweather.com

NASA images of Comet 73P still crumbling years after its initial breakup.

Multiple forecasters agree that a meteor shower could erupt on May 31, 2022, when Earth runs into one or more debris streams from Comet 73P. The display could be as intense as a meteor storm (1000 or more meteors per hour) or as weak as nothing at all. No one knows how much debris is inside the approaching streams, so meteor rates are hard to estimate.

Whatever happens, people in North America are in a good position to see it. Almost the entire continent will be in Moon-free darkness when the shower peaks. Maximum activity is expected around 1:00 am Eastern Daylight Time (05:00 UT) on Tuesday morning, May 31st. The shower’s radiant (the point from which all meteors stream) will be almost straight above Baja California.  ...

...  Based on past performance, the tau Herculids seem unlikely to produce a good show. For nearly a century the shower has been a dud. The X-factor this year is fresh material from the comet’s catastrophic breakup. If the new meteoroids reach Earth–and that is a big IF–shooting stars will fly from a point near the bright star Arcturus in the constellation Bootes. Here is a sky map to help you find it.

Also, a new analysis by Jérémie Vaubaillon of the Institute for Celestial Mechanics and Computation of Ephemerides in Paris raises the possibility of two additional outbursts on May 31st resulting from debris shed by Comet 73P in the years 1892 and 1897.
