saying this before i get to this story idea, but i do not hc the alternate sanses as cousins. nor do i hc the alternate papryi as cousins. a lot of people who write anti harem stories headcanon them all as cousins, but i don’t.

but my story idea is; what if two of the sanses were dating each other?

let’s say that fell! sans and swap! sans somehow fall in love during their time in the alpha timeline. fell! paps doesn’t care because as long as blue can beat him in a fight, he’s a good fit for his brother. and swap! paps doesn’t mind since he can see how happy red makes blue. and the classic bros and swapfell bros don’t care because it’s not their business

so when the skeleton group all collectively fall in love with the same girl, they try and court her, all that fun stuff. but then she finds out that blue and red are dating and she is weirded out by it. 

she is aware that blue and red aren’t related. she is aware how all of their relations work. her energy towards their relationship seems bigoted, homophobic in a way.

so when the reader comes to live with the skeleton group and the girlfriend, and they find out that 1) blue and red used to be a thing and 2) the girlfriend forced them to break up because she was disgusted by them being bisexual; the reader has to help them break off things with the girlfriend so they can be happy again.

Au: Cs-underswap, Multiverse collision 

Fell (he/him, ???)

Blue (she/her, Bigender)

Underfell angst warning! 

Due to a multiverse incident, Fell has now lost his au and has found himself at home in Underswap. However, because of a second Multiverse incident many sets of Sanses and Papyri have been invited to a new year’s party, Swapfell (and in some people’s minds indistinguishable) Fellswap, Classic Undertale, Geno, Sci, Reaper, and some more random sanses are all there. What wasn’t expected, however, was that there was a second Underfell au present…..

Blue and Fell never left each other's sides. Partially because they had stuck together for so long but mostly because Fell was very socially awkward and extremely introverted when it came to people he didn’t know. Blue had to drag Fell out of the corner by the fridge of classic’s house several times. Eventually Blue got him to socialize a bit by talking to Classic and Geno. They were both  very nice and welcomed Fell in right away, though they did seem a bit confused when he denied them having seen him before, but looking slightly different “With smaller teeth.” Cash had said who was also in the conversation. Blue shook her head and told them that she hadn’t been here either. They seemed to understand and Classic jokingly gestured towards “Blueberry” a two foot tall mini version of Blue that only resembled Blue in the sense that he wore a scarf. 

There was one hour till the big countdown, and Blue had made herself comfortable on the couch, Fell by her side. Within a few moments Fell had fallen asleep leaning against her, snoring away. Blue chuckled and gazed into the distance, which happened to be a Tv. The house was very similar to her own, but a bit differently colored. “Oh there you are Sans.” Blue tensed up, she knew that voice too well. Edge?? But… wasn’t he dead? Apparently Fell recognized it too as he was awake within a second and was scrambling away, off the couch. “What’s wrong?” Edge asked, looking genuinely concerned. That didn’t seem to register to Fell, and for good reason too. Nothing good could happen when Edge was looking for him. Blue stood up, recognizing something was off, but it was too late. Fell was already cornered and shaking, his pupils pinpricks as he grabbed at the wall for anything to defend himself with. Blue glanced towards the rest of the skeletons who didn’t seem to notice, except one. Fell? But, he didn’t look quite right.. Fell#2 jogged over and tapped “Edge” on the shoulder. Edge looked over confused, it taking a moment for it to register that he had the wrong Fell. “Oh! Sans, I was looking for you!” Edge looked over at Fell, and back at Fell#2 he blinked, squinted, and seemed to realize what had happened. “I am so sorry Sans.. Hmm? What’s your name?” Fell stared at him, his eyes wide, and opened his mouth to speak, but nothing came out. “Fell.” Blue said, glaring at Papyrus. Edge seemed more concerned than anything and took a step forward. Fell#2, pulled on his arm, and whispered something to Edge, who backed off. “I'm sorry.” He whispered and followed Fell#2 back into the crowd. Blue glanced over at Fell who sank to the floor. She ran over and sat beside him. She gently pulled him onto her lap, and he curled up around her. They sat there in silence, Blue could feel her sleeve getting wet from his tears. Blue Still didn’t know all that had happened in underfell, but she knew enough to understand why he had reacted like that, and she knew well enough to know not to talk about it, not until he was ready of course. Fell had pinkie promised her that once he was ready he would tell. Both of them valued pinkie promises highly, and Blue knew He wasn’t gonna take it lightly. So, she relented to wait for him to talk. After a  few more minutes. Fell shifted, wiping his tears away. Blue looked down at him and offered him her hand to get up. He shook his head and rubbed his face against her arm, trying to get closer. Blue exhaled in amusement and put her arm around him. Closing her eyes for a moment before dozing off. 

She woke up to Razz (swapfell) shaking her awake, “1 minute till the countdown!!” he exclaimed. “Huh? What?” Fell was awake now too. He stood up, dragging Blue along with him. “Countdown!” Fell said, excited. Blue, nearly pulling Fell back down, stood up as well and dragged Fell to the main room. Everyone was staring at the clock, Razz was a bit off, it was more like 15 seconds till the clock hit 12. Fell stared at the clock, his pupils huge. Blue wasn’t sure why he was so excited, but she supported it. Plus, since Fell was so distracted that meant her plan would work. “10..9...8..7..6..5..4..3..2…..” Blue kissed an unexpecting Fell on the cheek who turned, mid kiss to kiss her as well. People cheered as the clock struck 12, but the loudest cheer of them all was the sound in the two of their souls as they embraced each other in their kiss.

CLASSIC:

He would probably push his feelings aside, thinking that it's just some fling of his, until he started to care very deeply for you. Like, highly worried for your well-being. Which was an instant sign for him that this isn't just some fling.

He would play it off cool when the realization hits him though. You wouldn't find out until he would confess to you. He would be acting like he has zero feelings for you, but the moment you turn around...he blushes like crazy and tries to calm himself down. It's really silly from anyone else's perspective though.

He gets really excited whenever anyone mentions your name, it's gotten to the point where he looks like a fanboy of you.

He sometimes rants about you to Grillby. He can go on for hours, talking about you. Grillby's getting real tired of this, he once kicked him out for ranting for so long.

You're sometimes confused about his emotions towards you, he's giving such mixed signals... You asked him about this one time, but all he said, was; "Sorry, gotta get to Grillby's!" And disappears very quickly.

In conclusion, Sans is absolutely enthralled by you, but doesn't let it show.

SWAP:

He's very much aware of his feelings towards you since the start, but values your friendship too much to ruin it.

Since he's the future royal guard, he thinks he wouldn't have time for you if you got together. He's also fully convinced that his feelings are one-sided... :(

After he joined the star sanses, he was even more busy and didn't have as much time for you anymore. He missed you even more because of this outcome.

Don't get it twisted, he was happy to be helping so many people! But he felt so un-happy inside...sure, he was smiling at everyone, being a people-pleaser, but these smiles were very much fake.. he didn't see the purpose of smiling if you weren't the one he's smiling at..

He also felt so guilty that he couldn't tell you about his job as a star sans, feeling awful for lying to you...but one day...it accidentally slipped from his mouth... After your long persuadation, he finally caved in and explained everything to you in great detail, feeling relieved that he finally told you.

In short, Swap loves you, but thinks you don't feel the same way... Give him a hug! >:(

FELL:

When Fell realizes he's got a crush on you, the first thing he does is run away from you. Which was really funny to suddenly see his pupils widen and then him immediately running away.

He feels so weak for that. He believes he could've handled the situation better..oh well.

After that day, Fell was way more nervous around you than normally. He also sweated a ton more...which was kinda... disgusting.

Everyone thinks that Fell would immediately flirt with you, but... When Fell first met you, he would flirt with you just for the fun of it, but after he realizes his feelings towards you...he gets, strangely, shy..? It's actually really cute...from your side. Fell feels weak acting like this. He hates it.

You make him so shy just by your presence that the player sometimes takes advantage of that, to distract him. Just mentioning your name is enough to make his skull flash red.

He literally turned from bad boy persona to simp.

His brother thinks he should already confess to you so he can get rid of his feelings. In his opinion, it makes him weak. Even more weaker than before.

He loves you really, but he just can't admit it.

What makes them happy

🎡 Undertale (Classic): He’s a simple guy. The kind to try and appreciate every moment. What makes him happy is probably also the most important thing for him: his family. Nothing can make Sans smile more than a nice hang out with his brother, either it be at home or going out for some food. Papyrus is always there to chit chat with him, and he likes listening. But all of the above can apply to his special someone… Underfell (Red): Another simple guy! He likes when someone thinks about him, in general. Obviously, he very rarely felt that way considering his universe is the contrary of kindness. It did happen, long ago, that his brother would make cards or handmade gifts for him. It’s the fact that those things were directed to him that made him so happy. Now, any kind of attention towards him makes his soul skip a beat. Underswap (Blue): Holidays, his favorite thing ever. He just absolutely adores seeing everyone gather up, naturally happy and appreciating each other's company. Any kind of event that includes him welcoming people to his home, cooking and providing for them. He loves feeling helpful and making others feel at ease. Blue likes the simplicity of holiday joy, that’s when he feels the happiest. Dreamtale (Dream): Similar to Blue, of course he likes helping others, it’s his duty and reason to be alive. However… We all have a selfish side, and his selfishness created the fact that what makes him happy is getting favors in return. Not anything life threatening, just a task to assign someone in return for his protection. He also likes being pampered. He takes care of everyone, why can’t somebody hug him too? He’d very much like that, and he deserves it. Dreamtale (Nightmare): Now why would he want to be happy? He hates it and hates everyone in this stupid post. Kidding. Sadly for him, it makes his soul tingle a bit in happiness when he gets something new to read. He especially likes those big spined books, with shiny writing and sometimes embroidery of uncommon color. He’s also a fan of classic old decor, as long as it’s dark enough. He likes his environment, that’s what makes him… Satisfied.

 Inktale (Ink): It’s confusing him. Sometimes he likes things, and other times he hates said things. But something he obviously likes is art. Art is so vague, it can represent anything, it can even make the worst soulless ink-made skeleton in the universe relate to an ambiance or sentiment. It doesn’t need to be happy to be beautiful, and neither does he. That’s what he likes so much about it.

* Ah but he has the cutest reactions when he feels your cold hands. He’d do a little squeal and giggle from the surprise coldness. And squeezing the chest makes him laugh even more. He knew you were messing with him but dammit it was working.

* He’s not used to being held though without uh….yknow. “Favors” in return. But you being all cuddled up to him just unlocked him to a world of affection✨

* He couldn’t stop smiling even when you both dozed off.

Blue:

* Honestly at first he had no idea what the hell you asked him for- buuuut when shown an example? A blushing lil blueberry. Sure you didn’t mean TOO much harm in saying that but gosh how bold of you to ask this of him!

* But huh?! No he’s not scared! The magnificent Blue will not back down! Just….give him a minute to hype himself up💦 and try not to die of embarrassment-

* His Ecto is like a blue ocean in a tropical climate. It’s quite the sight to see. Best part? He had the perfect mix of muscle and a little fluff. Extremely comfy-

* He is just cute to begin with. But look at him now, getting all flustered✨ though he was more worried about how cold you were and poor thing was ready to buy you gloves and everything. But he lets out a loud “MWEH?!” Upon feeling you give him a few squeezes.

* He’d giggle just to turn around and give you a big ol hug! “Oh you tease! Come on….lets cuddle on the couch and drink hot chocolate together!”

* Ah what would you do without him?

Fell:

* Deadass he thought you was joking. He even laughed and went to see if you were laughing. Wait….seriously? You wanna do THAT??? “Well damn shouldn’t yah take me tah dinner first-?”

* He was stalling at this point but enough begging will finally make him crumble and give in. You are so lucky he likes you and so on with his grumbling and mumbling.

* His ecto reminds you of a garnet due to the much darker tones along the edges (*Ahem* Fits him because he’s a edgelord *Ahem-*) plus he’s a lil chunky. He’s so soft 🥹

* Oh man but as tough as he tries to act, he immediately shrieks feeling your hands- “ARE YAH FUCKING DYING?! WHY ARE YAH SO DAMN COLD?!” Then you squeezing him just makes him blush all over-

* Yeah he’s definitely getting you a scarf, gloves, and extra jackets and sweaters. Buuuuut…..he still said his chest was still an option if that’s not enough.

* Ah he’s a sucker….and a sucker only to you.
