Cleaning out the bottom shelf of the freezer today which means finding a bunch of stuff left there by my roommate’s old roommates. Finds include: a whole frozen blue jay, a set of rooster feet, a raccoon pelt, a ziplock full of unlabeled shrimp with peel still on, bag of millet the size of Rhode Island, full lemongrass shoots, a pack of organic beef hot dogs

#guess whose staple carb for the next few weeks is fucking millet #there were also some awesome finds like a single tamale #some frozen roti and sweet potato fries and some sort of fig and Brie appetizer

I wanted to play sooo much bg3 and enjoy the family nye party!!! and yet #here I am) so I have spent most of my week sleeping it off and thoroughly fucked up my sleep schedule so that’s fun!! #more importantly humi and tamal were VERY sweet and would not leave my side while I was bedridden (exaggerated) but now that I’m better #they’re like ok whatever bye. except it’s cold! Ever since Charlie passed, Tamale has been glued to his Momma's hip. He just adores Sheri and has really stepped up to be there for her. He's a good boy. And the way he is looking at Sheri in this picture is how he "always" looks at her. When she works from home he has to be either standing next to her or sleeping next to her. But be sure, he is ALWAYS ready and early to clock in.
