Hey sorry for messaging you like this but you recommended Swifthawk’s Chance by Birdsong-Warriors a while back? Well I started reading and followed them after that. I thought they were safe because they recently called out a proshipper (Toffeebun) but turns out they made feral p0rn and a LOT of other problematic stuff in private. I’m kind of freaking out about it rn?? Why do these gross freaks ruin everything. I don’t know who else to tell. I only have uncensored screens from some callout that a friend linked to me I’m sorry. Idk how else to prove it?

I will admit I haven’t had the time to extensively go though this yet but I will (there’s over 170 images) but it definitely seems pretty damning.

I strongly request please that no one under the age of 18 open that link. Anyone under the age of 18 leave that link alone. Although not explicitly graphic there is a lot of drawings depicting feral, some of it even non consensual, all by bird. And that’s not even mentioning the messages I’ve only just seen the tip of the iceberg of.

If anyone (over 18!) has a chance to look though this properly before I can and let me know if I’ve got the wrong end of the stick here please let me know but I really can’t see another way the evidence I’ve seen so far can be interpreted.

There is also the possibility this may not be bird but the art style is identical, if someone was faking this it would take a lot of effort

Could you please recommend some good Warriors fanfics or authors? :•)

To be honest I've really fallen far behind on reading fanfiction since I started throwing my back into running this blog, since Clan Culture research takes up a lot of my time

But I do follow Birdsong-warrior's Swifthawk's Chance, especially with how much effort they put into portraying Swifthawk's injuries and the attention to detail they put into family trees. Not to mention how excellent they are at capturing the utter dread of having such a toxic family member. It's something special, definitely check it out.

My buddy @katiek101's work is real good, particularly the History Has Its Eyes On You series. I tore through the whole thing on a long bus ride, they have a great way of showing how this volatile couple has a deep and comforting bond under it all, and I adore the way they describe yearning. It made me enjoy Romantic RussetfurxBlackstar when I usually get behind them as Gay Besties, which I think says a lot.

Aaaand I really enjoy Fire and Water, which is a retelling of TPB following Fireheart joining RiverClan instead of ThunderClan. I hesitate to call it an AU, because it keeps the events largely the same while just putting the POV in another Clan. Its worldbuilding is brilliant, it manages to make every Clan feel distinct in the short time we spend with each one, and never forgets the 'emotional core' at the center of character arcs. Its current sequel novella, Leopardstar's Lament, has been absolutely marvelous.

So there you go! Three recommendations. Right now I'm rereading TNP for my rewrite.

Ok I know I said I wouldn't get bored of spreading the word about Birdsong and their bs but I did for a bit. They updated their shit comic again though. So uh screw them

Tbh I used to like SC before all this, but seeing the gross shit they did with those characters ruined it for me. And seeing how much work that proshipper did for the comic. Don't get me wrong, proshippers can fuck off, but damn did Birdsong exploit them. Its gross knowing that the comic was able to exist because of someone they abandoned, harassed and worked with bigots over.
