I think she understood his anxieties, you can hear in her songs over the years and I think just from what we know of her as a person... I think she got tired of waiting for him to do something and decide what he wanted in his life... And you can say that him not deciding has to do with his anxieties, but I think she understood him and just waited as long as she could...

they both of mental issues as we know . god knows what was their position in times. normal people without any issues (almost everyone has issues cause 'perfect' is just not a thing) can't commit easily , famous people with issues having a hard time is really normal. commitment is big. it's not just a piece of paper (imo)

I can't blame joe at all here. cause look at the position he was in. his career kickstarted and he was with her. something very unsimilar with her other exes. so, he doesn't have a career close to the people that debuted with him / close to the time he did i.e liz debici (they won a chopard together ) . he doesn't have enough press (lmfao billy lynn had the record for most press(if not collectively) with him until recently ), nominations and stability what so far judging that he is a decent actor (you can disagree for sure but he IS a decent actor objectively (even when miscast) )

I understand he doesn't want fame and hoards of money doesn't mean he doesn't want a stable career ( while tay's is 740 million a year! that's a load even after paying for everyone and everything! (idk why I pointed this out) )(acting is not a stable career choice it self but I bet he wants to have some kind of stability before at least marriage) AND he has to calculate his every word and action since the beginning .

this is gonna sound mean but do you think tay's position screams suitable for marriage and babies? I'm sorry but she is the position (was before the tour too!) where she literally is on top of the world ! ( yeah I wrote this after the people's article so I'm angry) to get married now and gain a load of attention FOR IT, is sure to be overwhelming for an actor like joe who grew up pretty normal. posh , but normal. We almost know the reason of the swiftwyn breakup.

Now that you think of it, Taylor's friends, especially Ryan and Gigi and also Abigail unfollowing Joe on Instagram was quite absurd.

Like Joe didn't even do something wrong. Joe was frirnds with Gigi before he knew Taylor. And Ryan wrote in that article that Joe and him were pretty good friends. I'm pretty sure his kids refer of referred to him as uncle Joe (Which is cute)

Them unfollowing Joe like this was quite stupid. Didn't they know that this kind of mass unfollowing can have such a big affect on the pr and stuff? This move basically encouraged the cheating rumours about Joe.

Instead of just choosing sides, they should've been supportive of the both of them. I get it that they were better friends with Taylor than with Joe, but they all did such a high school act as if Joe did something wrong.

Was Taylor trying to get back at Joe? Idk, but this was such a mean and a rude and a bad move.

Finally found a blog that can sympathize with Joe. Love Taylor and sure they are both going through some terrible heartache. But I think this impact Joe the most. We are in no place to speak on someone else’s mental health but at least we know he has anxiety. And rumors of him withdrawing from her leading up to tour, the noticeable weight gain and baggy eyes in movie premieres, I think there’s more than we know.

I’ve been through a withdrawal period before because I was feeling like I was a failure. Lots of restless nights, weight gain, self isolation and feeling worthless. I took a break from everyone to heal and learn to love myself again. So I can kinda relate to him why he wanted a break. Everyone cope differently and we cannot fault them for how they chose to do it. We all have our own demons to fight.

We do not know what goes behind closed doors. But based on facts given, I am comfortable to say he is a gentle, sweet, caring soul, does not read into tabloids, brought up loyal and kind by his mother(according AOTGYLB). Never used her name to gain fame and is a very private person. How can people say he intentionally leaked this out? The breakup is the last thing he would ever want to go public.

If he cared about the imbalance in their fame status, he would be going for commercial movies instead, not indie type films. I just don’t like how he is being portrayed as a person through these news outlet. It’s very dehumanizing to do.

I have a conspiracy theory that they are just taking a break and just letting the media and us believe that it's over for good. And maybe this was really leaked beyond their control, then proceeded to just let it be.

They did hid their relationship for a solid 8 months before the world find out. Jake and Taylor were on and off for months, we didnt know. So it can be the case. Plus she is touring, its the perfect time for Joe to work. Im not delusional haha I have accepted the break up, but i just have a weird feeling.

I also have this feeling tbh. I also think some day they'll be seen together and suddenly we'll realize that they were on a break or something.
