I think we should have an rp server for swtor tumblr

But I don't manage other people well, I'm terrified of conflict and just. Do not want to lead it.

I'm hoping that someone does because it would be really awesome, but I know I'm not the person for the job. I would love to HELP, just not manage.

My swtor character, Crake, has been living rent free in my head for a couple weeks now. He's a Mirialan padawan and the best boy.

He just wants to help everyone, yes even the poor sith. They're just hurting!

Wiredraw was one among this band of fine SWTOR fanartists, fanficcers and RPers whose antics I used to watch from afar during SWTOR's heyday: @asceticcyan, @damarlegacy, @thegarbagechute, @ezroad, @miss-madwell, @awkwardtimezone, @heychief (are they back? 🤔), @amarearts, @lisjonok, and so, so many more, my comfort food and inspiration in times of growing stress.

A few of these incredible people aren't around on Tumblr anymore, quite probably out of frustration after having to purge their blogs in every successive wave of censorship, or maybe simply having outgrown it.

The thing about Wiredraw is that much of her distinctive art still survives the shutdown of her Tumblr, as reblogs by her peers and other admirers. Normally, as a fan art hoarder and compulsive reblogger 😅😓, I'd rather have the artist be reachable (via links to their Tumblr or any alternative) so that people can enjoy more of their art and commission them if they sell their wares, but in her case the only available links are her old DeviantArt (last updated in 2015) and a Twitter that hasn't been updated in a year and a half (and whose content doesn't have to do with any of this anyway, so, it might not be the best idea to link it).

Given things, I think I'm going to reblog her art whenever I find it, because I'd hate it if it would disappear out of sheer social media entropy. I saw @swtorpadawan collect a whole lot of it already, and I was hesitating because of the lack of contact data, but I know I'd regret not joining in.

If anyone still keeps in touch with Wiredraw, it would be great if they could ask her if this is okay with her. And tell her that we miss her and her OCs 🙂.

This is SWTORpadawan's EXTENSIVE collection so far (which I'm oh-so-going to raid and reblog 😅), and this is what I got at the moment, myself. Expect a ton more.

New and improved oc server post!

Swtor tumblr is awesome, but in terms of multiple people talking in one spot, tumblr just isn't that great. I love tumblr, I think it's wonderful for many reasons... but it's way easier to parallel play with the blorbos from your friends' brains on discord.

So there's this server...

It started out as specifically for swtor rp, but it's kinda sorta grown. It would be more accurate to call it an oc appreciation hugbox, with occasional rp, some of it even related to star wars... but the point is that so far, it's doing exactly what I had in mind, which is...

I've gotten to meet so many amazing OCs and trade ideas and pick brains and it's been. Awesome. And it seems like every time I reblogged the original post about it, I got one new person asking to join-- so I'm making a more streamlined, updated post! Because when it comes to having special interest time about people's ocs,

Job Security

That's the thing about medicine. People will always need help.

It's been rough since... well, to Sovos, it was a few days ago, but she knows it's been longer. Millennia, everyone gone and--snaps that thought off, no point. No use. She knows at some point she'll have to deal with it. Deal with the grief and the loss and the shock but, well, not right now. Agents are great at repression. Just a little longer, just until she's safe. And that's going to be difficult.

Finding somewhere to call home in any densely populated area is already a challenge, but it's worse when you're staggering from carbonite sickness and everyone you ever knew about is dead and all your money is unrecognizable to anyone but a few really niche historians. She did manage to get some of her credits exchanged like that, but only the ones on fixed value chips. And despite what the museum offered her for it, she's not selling her uniform or her carbine. Absolutely not. Ditto her medkit, that's staying too. But she's got to find a home base somehow, and unlike the day before she was frozen, there's no Imperial Intel to set that up. Sighing, she starts looking around for potential patients. At least medics will always have work to do.

So apparently SWTOR is at 27/28 ATC (After the Treaty of Coruscant) and class stories begin at 10 ATC and end at about 13 ATC... some thoughts:

1.) A character born in 0 ATC (but doesn’t partake in their class story) would be 27/28 years old 

2) Characters who had kids after their class story ended at 13 ATC would be 15 right now

The RP gears are grinding now and I am working on some... ideas.
