Based on what my eyes saw and the trauma of all of the characters

conspiracy theory Hecate actually adopts Sybil ( because she sees her struggle and panic attacks and thinks she needs to be supported more) after Mrs Hallow went to prison for fraud and Mr Hallow is out of the picture or not really able to cope with all of them. She looks at Sybil and sees her young self and recognises the effort she puts into everything.  HB  also totally adores Esmerelda and doesn't want her the struggle with her trauma and depression alone and Ethel clearly struggles with the lack of attention and loves she receives so HB gives her more attention and love than on the surface it looks like she deserves. And so lets them both live with her to- though Esme goes to university and sometimes they both( Esme +Ethel) live in the student accommodation. Mona unfortunately wasn’t able to be adopted by Hecate but Pippa and Cackle appeal to take her out of the home when she reaches 12 and she ends up living at Pentangles.

Carmilla Casino has been more than a bust tonight. Connor is grumpy and when he is grumpy there is very little that can pull him out of this mood. Often times the attempts often grab him and drag him further down into the deep pits of his own (sometimes undeserved) angsty ruminations. After being nearly accosted by a vampire and his favorite fairy abandoning him and still not answering questions, he doesn’t really want to stay here to fuck around and find out what other terrible things can happen.

If only Esme would answer his fucking text messages.

He feels her more than he sees her really. Ghosts have a certain air to them that are easy to sense once you’ve gotten used to it, and being a wolf it’s easier for him to feel and sense than anything else. He’s about to tell whoever the fuck this ghost is to fuck off and leave him alone when he notices the straw start to float in front of him.

There aren’t many things, living or dead, willing to fuck with a Talbot. Especially one you can tell is incredibly pissed off.

“If you wanted a drink, Sybil, you could have just asked.” Connor smiles softly and pats the barstool beside him. “The seats not taken. I got ghosted.”

He probably would feel bad for the turn of phrase, but it’s hard to say anything anymore without incorporating a bit of supernatural flare. For some reason the Unaware have such a proclivity for it.

Sybil is, without a doubt, his favorite person he’s met within his Circle. Often times ghosts are uninterested in involving themselves with others and, frankly, Connor isn’t into it either. But many of his late nights at the shop involve a closed door, a cup of tea, a roaring fire, and a conversation. Not many people are willing to indulge him in his more refined tastes.

Wolves are supposed to be strong and threatening. Dangerous and powerful. It’s brawn, not brain -- and Clifford’s philosophy degree is more ill-gotten than anything. There isn’t a single cell rattling in that idiot’s empty cranium.

“Sorry, I didn’t bring Poe with me for a night on the town and right now I’m more inspired by Helsing than anyone else.”

He’s not really positive about it, but by the way some of the people in the bar turn to stare at him in mild disgust, there may be some truth in Bram’s writings. Good to know.

Hallows Or Crows?:

This is for a fic series where the "Harry Potter" films share the same universe as the 1998 "Worst Witch" series. As part of the series, it may reveal that, through Molly's Squib Second-Cousin, (let's call him "Benvolio Prewett"), the Weasleys are related to either Ethel Hallow and her sisters or Clarice Crow (the friend of Sybil Hallow).

Here's Choice 1: The Hallows--

As a Squib, Benvolio Prewett would work in the Muggle World as an accountant/stockbroker. Then, in the 1960's, he'd marry a lovely woman by the name of "Bernadette". Yet, Benvolio would soon reaize that Bernadette was a witch of the Ex-Codice ("Worst Witch" wizards) breed. The two would then have a daughter, Mafalda who, with her "Slytherin-Like" traits, would marry a wizard; Otis Hallow of the wealthy Hallow family. Together, they would have three daughters; Ethel, Sybil and Mona ranging from 1986-1994.

Choice 2: The Crow--

Benvolio Prewett would marry the Ex-Codice witch, Clarissa and have Mafalda as their daughter. Mafalda would later marry a wizard called "Lucas Crow" with Clarice being the product of the union.

- Your “canon” train combination? For my very first play through I picked mystical and street smart and I’m still mostly drawn to that combination.

- What third trait would you pick for hardcore mode? Probably talk to animals, just because Dustin is a dear friend to me and I love being insulted by Frou-frou directly.

- Who are you romancing? Kaneeka. It physically pains me when I romance others. Oscar and Avery are close seconds tho, but at the end of the day I’m a very simple lesbian.

- What romance are you least interested in? Stella’s actually. Sybil’s and Joan’s are gonna be unhinged and Wayne is interesting. Stella just really doesn’t speak to me as a romance.

- Who would you romance if every single character was eligible? Still Kaneeka. I’m always gonna romance Kaneeka.

MISCELLANEOUS:

- What character would hurt you the most if something bad happened to them? Kaneeka definitely, but seeing as bad things are definitely happening to her (looking DIRECTLY at you Sybil) I’d have to go Avery. They just wanna be a part of the town so bad, and as someone who is very flamboyant but has trouble finding their place as well, I just feel a deep kinship to Avery and I will get violent id they get hurt.

- Would you stay in Scarlet Hollow when the week is over? It depends on how the rest of the game plays out, but honestly it doesn’t really seem like MC has a lot going on for them in their hometown, so yeah I probably would.

- Who would you vote for as dog mayor? The only right choice is Scraps and we all know this.

It was strange but since Alice touched her so gently during the Hallow's Eve events, it's like something was unlocked that she hadn't ever noticed. She liked the physical attention. And she wished she had someone to give her a little attention.

She cleared her throat. There was nothing she could do at that point. She would be okay. It wasn't the end of the world. The ball would be a blast whether she had anyone on her arm or not. She had plenty of fun on her own for so long that this would be no different. Her hands straightened her dress, she fluffed her hair and turned to go in, locking eyes with another student. "Oh, hello. Having a good time then?"

Hogwarts Years For Various Characters

So, I'm getting a lot of mixed opinions on who went to Hogwarts when. Like all (and I do mean all) the adult characters going to Hogwarts with the Marauders, etc. So, I decided to do some extensive investigative work based on where the characters are in the books and what JKR said about them and their ages. If there's no information, I just looked up the actors who played them, and their ages at the time the movie was released (and when the movie is set). And yes, I will be including Hogwarts Mystery characters. Deal with it.

A few more notes, I find it extremely unlikely that half the OG Order of the Phoenix was made up of newly graduated Hogwarts students. Frank and Alice Longbottom have already made names for themselves as famous aurors by 1981, and it takes 3 years of training to become an auror. Same with Dorcas Meadows (I don't think she was an auror, but she was badass enough to be killed by Voldy personally).

As for Marlene McKinnon, Emmeline Vance, Amelia Bones, Hestia Jones, and Dedulus Diggle...

If Marlene was Lily's best friend and Sirius' lover (or even ex-lover), wouldn't Lily be more emotional about her death and say something like "I'm so sorry about Marlene. I know how much she meant to you."? And wouldn't she have mentioned her by name? "Marlene and her family" instead of "the McKinnons"?

If Emmeline Vance, Hestia Jones, and Dedulus Diggle were friends with Lily and James, wouldn't they (or Remus or Sirius) mention that to Harry? You would think that with all these "friends" of Harry's parents, going to Grimmauld Place would be like "coming home" to him.

Amelia Bones is described as having "grey hair" in OOTP, and the actress who portrayed her was 57 when Deathly Hallows part 1 was released, so she's almost 20 years older than the Marauders.

oooooooh now this is an interesting one to think about...

she's a demon of destruction and upheaval. wherever she goes, those things follow, and she sticks around to watch the violence that usually tens to erupt as a result. sometimes she'll even insert herself into the violence to spur it. until she eventually gets bored and just vanishes

she sniffed out hope county as a good place to stir up trouble due to the incredibly unique cocktail of human suffering that are the seeds. she played absolutely no part in that, but she started whispering into joseph's head, pretending to be the Voice, and just spurring on the violence. but i think he also eventually realizes that she's not the Voice and actually a demon, and he casts her away. but that's fine. she did her damage. now it's time to cause some destruction

she appears in human form as the rookie deputy sheriff, and it's not long after that the marshal appears with the arrest warrant and she actually volunteers to be the one to arrest joseph. she knows how this is going to end. The Reaping, as joseph will call it, is going ot be nothing bog a frenzy of blood and violence.

joseph recognizes her when she walks into his church (something she's able to do because despite his claims, it isn't hallowed ground) -- he sees that she's a demon because she doesn't bother hiding it from him. it's more fun if he knows, and in this au, there's just a bit more fear behind the words "god will not let you take me." she just smiles at that, and if anyone bothered to look, they'd see that her mouth has just a few too many teeth

she fucks with all of the seeds in a way that gets under their skin. her mere existence and the fact that she's taken an interest in him and his project is enough to get joseph shaking in his shoes. similarly, faith is afraid of her because the bliss doesn't work, and she can and would easily break her bones as if she were a little bird. john pretends to be brave, but the way he lashes out at her is just a defense mechanism, and whenever she says "yes" to him, it makes him wonder whether his actions are justified and holy. but jacob just seems to take her existence in stride. says he's seen stranger and worse things in the desert. her and everything she represents isn't something that fazes him, which she finds utterly intriguing, and she decides that maybe, just maybe, she'll stick around long enough just to make sure that this particular human survives. because she gets the feeling she could have a whole lot of fun with him, and maybe when he does die, she'll put in a good word to satan and tell him that this man would make a good demon, himself.
