Apperantly Sycras channel got hijacked and in turn taken down since the hijackers were doing some kind of crypto-scam. The worst thing about this, besides the fact that this guy lost his channel without any fault of his own or one of the best educational channels on drawing being gone, is that youtube wont’ do shit because he has less than 1M subscribers. WTF?! I remember a time where this was an astronomical number only few had yet reached and youtube actually gave at least a bit of shit about its creators but now... now it seems that if your’re not responsible for at least 1% of their yearly profit you’re on your own.

it was hacked by some bitcoin fucks and has yet to be reinstated by youtube.

sinix made a video about it but i think more people should say something to @teamyoutube on the remnants of twitter.

or else all those videos might be lost, and sycra would have to endure a legal battle to regain it.

SYCRA IS BACK! so glad to see his channel has been recovered after being hacked a few months back. this is a great video from about a year ago where he talks about viewing your own work as if you were helping someone else on their work. i've found it much easier to give others advice than work on my own work, so this really hits home for me!

So apparently Sycra's YouTube channel has been deleted. His channel posted really informative, in-depth videos on anatomy for artists without charge -a completely free, high quality education just ripped away from people due to no fault of his own (bitcoin scammers hacked his channel and YouTube won't help him because he didn't have 1 million+ subscribers). @youtube fix it please. He's been a longtime creator and helped so many artists and is a breath of fresh air amidst your watered down, corporatised bs.

Imagine being Junichiro Sycra.

Imagine trying to protect your father from a monster you never knew existed and failing, watching your father die. Then overworking your powers you never knew you had just to watch yourself be filled with rage and revenge at the age of eight.

Imagine being on the run from monsters you want to kill, but can't. You call for your other dad, wishing for him to give him a home where he is. He would rather be dead than alone. It's been three years since this happened and nothing.

Imagine being bitter at the gods and monsters, with only a bow your mortal father gave you. You become attached to it, not letting anything touch it. And then a satyr comes for you, and your first instinct is to run. Imagine that you occur a child eating monster following you while you try to outrun the satyr and the lamia itself. Both won't leave you alone. You get chased from Maryland to New York until you come across two people setting up a camp. And you run into a girl your age.

Imagine they decide to run with you, helping to kill the monster coming for you. The satyr proves himself innocent and willing to help, but he accidentally bumps into you and makes you drop your bow. And the lamia steps and breaks it. The dark comes out.

Imagine you facing your phobia and heading straight for the lamia with only revenge in your mind, punching and biting the thing until it eventually dusts itself. The three people watching you in horror until you see them. And you walk away in the forest while they set up a camp.

Imagine sitting outside, sobbing because that bow was the only thing you loved and needed in life. The last memento of your mortal father is gone. Then the girl you ran into comes and finds you. And you pour your heart to her.

Imagine she comforts you, but you don't want it. You want home, your fathers' embraces. She calls you a demigod, and you refuse. You're normal. You're normal. Then you fall asleep in her arms. And wake up in her arms, held close.

Imagine you get to a camp and are claimed by Apollo. The god who ignored your pleas for three years. You can't help but feel disdain and rage. Then you get a sunshine and happy cabin. You don't want it.

Imagine the same girl gets claimed by Athena, and then Poseidon. And you find out the guy is a dead-alive hunter named Hippolytus. You get named as a Dark. Then Zeus finds out.

Imagine you watch Hippolytus get kidnapped and captured, and he sends you as outcasts into the Underworld to die. You pretend to be strong for the girl who can't believe her own parents as well.

Imagine being a son of Apollo in the Underworld. You start to drain with sunlight, and start becoming weak. You depend on the girl who can't even depend on herself to get you out. And she does.

Imagine hearing her past, then news that her mortal parents won't take her back in. You bpth find Hippolytus, then a sanctuary for outcasted demigods in New Orleans. The girl tells you she doesn't care if her parents left her, her hand in yours.

You can't help but feel happy for the first time.

But that's not the end.

Translation notes:

I tried to find a real meaning for "Hat U30," but came up short. It might be a unique label that the designers gave the hat, or it might just be that I misunderstood the characters.

"What a good idea!!" seemed to definitely have the word "What" in it, but I wasn't completely sure about the rest. It might have also been something like "What are you doing!!" but since Sycras seems to be smiling + there's no question mark, I decided to go with "What a good idea!!"

Is Randolph just Caellach/Hans but in a game that doesn't realize how much of a power-hungry psycho he is and, as such, thinks it's a good idea to try and frame his death as a bad thing?

Randolph tries to pull the uwu punches at us, and even gives us Flèche, whose sole role is to cry over her brother and, in AG, be the catalyst for Dimitri's change.

(on that note, TS pulled a more successful Flèche than Fodlan!).

Caellach and Hans are just, well, axe bosses lol, who want to "become King" by pilling up achievements or in general, being the "strongest one around" - but they are always defeated and never uwu'd upon, because both of their games doesn't pull any punches depicting what their so called muhrit entails - Hans slaughters prisoners who surrendered, and Caellach helps bring back Satan, betraying his former "friend" and ruining his life (rekting his mom and bbq'ing his home).

OTOH, Fodlan wants us to feel sorry for Randolph by creating Flèche, but sweeping under the rug the things Randy does to earn "muhrit" and fame - he is only an enemy unit, right?

The game doesn't show us him hunting green villagers NPCs to kill them, or the equivalent of Green Ostian knights trying to protect the monastery (we only know green villagers NPCs were hunted because Emile tells us the general area around the monastery is already a battlefield!) because that might sour your Hresvelg Tea, but given how Randolph is associated to Supreme Leader, her conquest and her IdEaLs that you have rank up "achievements" to become something, if Hans was under her ranks, her point would be sort of moot.

(iirc, wasn't this one of the criticisms thrown at Xander? Him putting Hans in jail but keeping Peri as a vassal?)
