If they revive Peter at the start of next episode, I’ll be pretty upset.

His death is so impactful, and bringing him back after he’s passed away so soon will take away that impact. It’ll be like William’s death in PD all over again- useless, and frankly a little annoying due to it halting story progression. Peter’s death hit me like Sylnan’s in the Fated- it fucking hurt, and if I had been at home I would’ve cried. I hope they do his death justice and let it go on a while longer.

i dont have many headcannons but lets see

my fav thought is abt sylnans connections to death. i think he often dreams of being underground when he sleeps. i think the fact that he was died, never buried, and then brought back has affected him more than he'll let the others know. i think sometimes hes worried that hes not gonna wake up again in the morning

technically not my headcanon but i think abt braad and sylnan having their orphanage after they save the world often. i think they work with the others to make sure no kids have to ever deal with what they did. i think braad tells them stories of their adventures as the fated five in glitter dancing in the air with his words. i think that the rest of the fated either live nearby or visit often. i refuse to believe that they would be the kind of party to separate easily after all is said and done.

i often think abt the friendships between vel and braad and vel and taxi. i wish it coulda been explored more, but i think they had "girls night" (shhhhhh dont worry abt genders). i think vel and taxi would bond over tea and planning and i think vel and braad would bond over casual conversations and gossiping about the group and working together to style new outfits that still manage to be practical (i think braad has difficulty with the practical part. shirtless ass mf how do you survive in the snow. anyways). i think all three of them will go out on their free days to explore wherever theyve traveled to and find things to do with the others.

i think mountain is like a gay bear but hasnt accepted that yet. what who said that.

I literally can't stop buzzing about episode 108 so I wanna talk about it. Spoilers obviously.

Tbf I don't really have anything of value to say that others haven't other than I really hope Gill doesn't watch chip literally fucking die. I wasn't paying full attention but he didn't fail any of his saves yet did he?? I see people talking about Gill holding chip while he dies and no????? Whyre you so set on him dying I don't think he's even rolled a death save yet. He went down and then Gill busted in, yeah??? Like I get the dramatics n everything but grizz will figure something out, he wouldn't just let chip die unless he had a plan to bring him back like Sylnan

Also the mental image of Gill seeing the gruesome scene and literally exploding in firey blue rage is perfect I love unhinged Gill sm

What if the rest of them were to fall like Grizzly?

So I have been thinking about what happened to the rest The Council after the fall out of banishing Grizzly. But I thought what if the rest of the gods were to have a downfall as well.

With Condi's bit, it has a spoiler for the first campaign of JRWI but it really isnt much. Just skip the first paragraph since its reasoning

So in the first campaign; Sylnan end up having a a demon in their arms. Since we wont really be getting an ending to that, I just thought we could get what could've been through one of the people on there.

I was thinking that Condi could end up attracting a demon to his arm.

It can be taken place after the SCU video and after they had to kill Grizzly to let him rest. After that entire thing, something from the nether could've gotten attached. So when Condi gets back home to Molympus, he barely realizes what gotten attached and tries to make it stop growing with his own homebrewed potions. None of the potions work as it gets worse. Knowing what happened to Grizzly, he hides his arm away from the other two

Slowly, as the demon in his arm gets stronger, the more scared Condi becomes of himself. Not knowing when he could snap on accident and not knowing how to get rid of it

Sooner or later, Condi gets corrupted by the demon. He is stuck in the mentality that he deserves to be the only god among them. He should be considered to be the most powerful and the only one to rule. He ambushes them with potions that he has been brewing in secret without the other two knowing. Which causes them to needing to kill Condi out of pure self defense since the corruption refuses to let go and it keeps fighting them.

In Condi's final words, it finally lets go since it has lost its host. He tells the two that he's deeply sorry for what he has done before begging for death.

With Slime's downfall, its different than the other two; he ends up leaving himself.

He finds himself responsible for both deaths (Grizzly is by jumping the gun and Condi is by him being neglectful) and the guilt has been eating him inside.

Slime slowly start to get more and more closed off; he alienate himself from everything else and makes sure that everything stays in check. Being a lot more strict with how everything works just to try to make sure nothing can go wrong for nothing can repeat itself all over again.

But Bizly will be more outspoken by this time. Also wanting to make sure everything stays in balance but doesnt want Slime to be controlling.

Wanting to make sure that nothing can go mad with power; Slime leaves his godhood. He doesnt want to turn into what the others were, what Grizzly was, what Schlatt was. He fears turning into them and fears that he'll met their same end.

So he leaves Bizly with Molympus

Which leaves me with the last god; Bizly

He is the sole leader of the new worlds with losing three gods. He never goes mad, instead he just gets sad with the solitude in Molympus but he grows used to it

Its not like he has much of a choice anyways

So yeah, thats the basics of my ideas. I need to stretch them out and I might end up writing something but not sure.

I think about The Fated a lot.

I wonder where their stories could of gone, things they would’ve done. How their relationships with each other would grow once all their secrets are out on the table. Mountain made a deal he shouldn’t have. Sylnan played a role in the death of a child. Br’aad and Sylnan’s relationship with their newly revived father. How would they have reacted to those things?

We as humans wish for things we can never possess. And as much as I love the other campaigns and all their PCs, I can’t help but wonder, y’know?

pros: - they’ve already defeated jschlatt at his most powerful. he was a god, remember?? - More Chaos - Charlie would absolutely make enemies on his first day because puns - they can roleplay pretty fucking good (too many emotional jrwi moments to reference here) - completely unpredictable. which side will they choose? will they choose a side?? no one knows. - a p p l e  - b u t t o n - Epic Anime Fight To The Death (courtesy of grizzly) (ft. undertale music) - condi has the only braincell, but barely, therefore, not much braincell, therefore, bad decisions  - they will end up sacrificing something (someone) to gain the Key to defeating the True Enemy (whoever it is at this point) - have you watched them play minecraft??? terrifying. - Puns. - screaming - head empty, only screaming - schlatt will not expect them. wilbur will not expect them. they are unexpected. the Trio in the server, what sins will they commit? - minecraft vr kings - schlatt is lowkey afraid of charlie - at this point, the smp is basically a dnd campaign and you know who else plays dnd??? - they will be the ones to finish the war i know it - do these boys even know what morality is when they play minecraft? - slime and condi’s skins are usually their dnd characters so ppl drawing them would have to draw br’aad and sylnan - more ppl getting into their content and liking them!

Prompt #17: Destruct

"Welcome to the Royal Menagerie."

Zenos's voice carried easily over the distance between them; Sylnan strode further into the garden, only glancing briefly up to where the captured primal hung in some sort of magitek cage -- he'd wondered where that damn thing had gotten to and now he had his answer.

"The King of Ruin built this place for his foreign queen.  He kept it filled with familiar creatures from her homeland.  They bored me all.  This fine specimen, on the other hand, is simply...divine."

Sylnan kept walking toward him, casually drawing his bow.

"Your fates are entwined, are they not, eikon-slayer?  This dragon, this...embodiment of unbridled despair, born of a desperate man's burning hatred for the Empire...  How raw the raging tempest that churns within its breast.  No myth made manifest this, but...a being of pure violence."

"So you've adopted a pet.  Most would've chosen a canine, I imagine," Sylnan responded at last. ((Continued below cut))

Zenos turned, extending a hand toward him with one of those wan smiles.  "Ha ha, mayhap you are the true architect of our design.  You who fought the very soul of vengeance to the edge and watched him fail.  You who let slip the Allagan hound to drive this eikon into my arms!"

"And here I thought the Empire was against eikons," Sylnan said, eying the man.  He was a dangerous being...and seemingly caught up in his own speech.  "Whatever would your father think?"

"Oh... My. Have I said too much?  Forgive me, this...sensation is wholly unfamiliar to me.  A question, then - and I should like very much for you to speak from the heart.  If I were to stand aside, what would you do to this eikon?"

"Same thing I intend to do to you, Zenos."

Zenos's smile grew a tiny bit.  "Ah.  As simple as that.  But of course. You are the eikon-slayer. Such certainty is to be expected."

With practiced smoothness Sylnan drew an arrow and held it near the bowstring.  "I'm also an imperial-slayer, in case you missed the more pressing part of that answer."

There was a long moment of silence; Zenos actually looked thoughtful for a moment.  "A pity.  There is another alternative. Or there would be...had you only mastered your abilities."

"I've mastered exactly enough to handle this moment," Sylnan retorted, lifting his  bow with the arrow nocked.

To his surprise Zenos turned his back to him to eye Shinryu.  "I speak of your Echo, of course.  Does it merely render you immune to eikonic influence?  Or is it rather that your influence is greater than theirs?  Granted, these implications are of no moment to a savage, who thinks only of killing the beast before him..."

"...are you familiar with the concept of mirrors?"

Zenos turned back to him.  "When I read van Baelsar's reports, I immediately saw the boundless potential of the Echo. I saw how it could be instrumental in binding an eikon to one's will. Hence my research and the Resonant - and oh so much more!"

Sylnan rolled his eyes and rapidly drew and let fly an arrow that came close enough to pass through Zenos's hair.  Whatever the man was about to say died in his throat and, infuriatingly, the man's smile grew wide.

"Enough talk, your Royal Pain-in-my-Ass," Sylnan growled, lowering his bow and pointing a finger at the crazed man.  "It ends today.  You get the fight you so desperately desired: I'm not exhausted, my bow is not broken, I am not bereft of arrows.  It's you, versus me.  I'll even make it more theatrical for you-" he added, whipping off his hat to let his hair fall free.  "Hells, if it will get you to finally lay down and die I'll even take my shirt off - bards are nothing if not dramatic, after all."

Zenos's eyes widened - as did his smile - for one very brief moment then he lowered his chin to his chest and fixed Sylnan with a wild stare.  "Man should fight for the joy of it. To live, to eat, to breed ─ lesser beasts snap and howl at one another for this. Only man has the wisdom and the clarity to embrace violence for its own sake. For we who are born into this merciless, meaningless world, have but one candle of life to burn. I know you understand this. You and I are one and the same.  Together, we could while away the quiet hours, as friend and confidant...if you will accept me."

"Ah, I see - I offer to bare skin and suddenly you desire friendship.  I'm afraid I'll have to pass either way, you are certainly not to my taste as a bedfellow by any definition of the word."

The corners of his mouth lifted.  "In denying me you prove me right.  We are warriors. 'twas plain from the first how this would end. You live for these moments - when all hangs in the balance...when the difference between life and death is but a single stroke."

"I don't live FOR them, I live THROUGH them.  'tis quite the difference, princeling," Sylnan replied quietly.  "But then I suppose you wouldn't understand that.  You wander through life destroying, seeking that which would destruct you in turn - you care for nothing and live for nothing."  He raised his bow again and leveled another arrow at him.  "Shall we get this over with?"

Again that wild look came back and Zenos punctuated his next words with a raised blade.  "I live for these moments too!  This is who we are, my friend!  This is all we are!  Ala Mhigo and Doma and Garlemald be damned!"

Before Sylnan could react the prince moved; his katana arched back and up, sending a beam of red light up and across the cage that held the primal.  What could only have been the seal on the entire blasted thing fell into two equal pieces to clatter to the ground and then, Shinryu unfolded itself and threw back its head with a shriek to the heavens and a torrent of blue flames -- what would surely have tempered him, if he were not protected as he was. 

"We tower above the gods!  You by your gift, I by my might!"

"What in the hells have you done to yourself, you mad beast?" Sylnan grunted, forced to shield his eyes from the worst of the glow to keep his gaze on the shrouded figure within it.

And there, amidst the blue, came a pair of glowing red eyes.

"Before the Resonant the gods shall be made to kneel!"

A sickly red aura followed after the red eyes, and as Sylnan watched Zenos floated into the air and to Shinryu's breast.  A burst of light blinded him a moment and then-

"An ending to mark a new beginning!"

Not the word of a man - not the language of a man.  If not for the Echo Sylnan wouldn't even have been certain the guttural sounds he'd just heard WAS a language.  Shinryu floated before him, eying him, and then suddenly turned to fly away into the air and begin to circle.

Lowering his bow Sylnan tracked the primal's - prince's? - movement, mind racing; how in the world...could he catch up to the damned thing if it was airborne?  Was there time to call Cid for help?  Would he even be close enough?  Perhaps he could call his or one of Hien's yols in?  But what if it already bore a rider...he couldn't possibly place anyone in this much danger, and yet if he didn't act the entirety of Ala Mhigo would be in danger.

"Well, one thing is for certain...the shirt is staying on," he muttered.

--wait, there - a door into a tower on the far side of the garden that would lead up.  If he could get higher and the primal chanced to fly close enough...

It wasn't the BEST plan but it was the best plan he had for now, and that was good enough.

Fated hours boys >:) I’m gonna talk about Velrisa because I miss her and she was so cool and I’m gonna talk about her a LOT (Fated spoilers below!)

Genuinely though, without Vel the Fated never would’ve been able to stay together—her demeanor and how she’s a peacemaker is the ONLY reason the Fated did half the stuff they did

Not to mention her status as healer is what kept them alive (except for Sylnan and even then she feels terrible about it)

I also feel so bad for her because she goes through a lot throughout the campaign, but because it’s not as upfront and because Wheatie is a quiet role player (which I’m not saying is a bad thing, how respectful he is is actually one of the main reasons I like Vel so much) than like the trauma Br’aad and Sylnan experience it kinda gets glossed over

Like, her whole purpose is to help people move on when they die, or to stop people from dying if it’s not their time, and there were multiple instances where she has to do this and it’s actually really sad. My mind goes right to Michael, the ghost boy Vel helped who hadn’t even realized he was dead. Velrisa had to explain to a child that he was dead, which is just the most depressing thing ever, and she did it in such a kind and sweet way. And, of course, Sylnan! Sylnan dies and Vel knows it’s not right and he wasn’t mean to and she can’t do anything about it. Br’aad literally begs her to save his life and she has to look him in the eyes and say she can’t do anything. With how empathetic she is, that can’t possibly have been easy. (And I realize that it was definitely the most difficult for Br’aad of course, but I’m just talking about Vel here).

Also, it is no secret that the Fated are sooooo traumatized. These poor boys. And Vel is often someone who helps them! While there aren’t a lot of upfront moments, I believe that Vel has definitely talked with them about the things they’ve gone through. We know for a fact she’s close to Taxi, and her and Br’aad share a lot of very sweet moments in arc 2 (when she dies with the Beholder, when she accidentally kills Claire, after Br’aad’s hallucinations with that spider drink). She’s basically their therapist.

But, and this is one of the main things I wish was done differently, Vel goes through a lot in the Queen Mira arc that isn’t really touched on. I get why they couldn’t deal with it, there were only like two episodes after Mira before arc 2 ended, but still. She gets kidnapped to be used for her blood (and her Tiefling status is something other characters have been distrustful of before), and during her escape she almost dies and spends like three days freezing to death in a cave with no idea if her friends are coming to get her or not. Like, that can’t have been easy. I personally think she developed claustrophobia after that experience. And right after, when they’re fighting Mira, Vel is already injured and she gets knocked out, which is bad enough, but when she wakes up, Ander is dying.

And with Ander, he and Vel are very close. Ander loved Vel so much that he gave up his autonomy in order to save her life when she was a child (a child!) and she doesn’t even know until he’s literally dying in front of her. They have a whole just heartbreaking conversation about it (I almost cried it was so sad). And I don’t think they have a real conversation after he gets revived! We just kinda move on to how Mountain killed his mother and how they have to kill Ungaro—which of course is important, but I just love Vel so much and I wish we could’ve spent more time helping Vel with the fact that she was almost killed and frozen to death and that her uncle died. This poor girl

Okay so I have just straight up rambled about Velrisa for like a lot of words but she’s just,,, she’s so cool and I miss her dearly and I think she deserved an episode to not be the therapist and to see a therapist instead tbh
