oh Etho, i'm so glad you asked! so i got to explain it all to him in-depth for about an hour. and as he perused the "slabtwt" he, ah—started gagging—but he knows, he knows!

yes! yeah, you think it was a big deal when i found you, now Etho's gotcha. he might not even interact, that's the scariest part, is he's not—i come in and i say "hi everybody! i found you!" he'd come in and he'll just stand there silent and look at you.

To say Syzoth was hooked on me after my first encounter was an understatement. The spell I had cast on him seemed to have lingered, as well as the memories of what we had done together.

He made it his mission to hunt me down and get another fill of what he so desperately craved. He spent days searching for me. Even taking time away from the job he worked so hard to earn, just to find me.

When he finally found me hidden away in my cave, he dropped to his knees and gave himself to me. He claimed that he loved me and wanted to make me—a succubus—his mate.

The thought was amusing, and I couldn't help but let out a wicked laugh at his vulnerability while his hopeful eyes watched me with need.

But just when I went to turn him away, I caught a glimpse of the way he looked at me. It was different from how any other man had ever watched me before. Other than lust within his beautiful lime-colored eyes, there was... Love...

Behind the mask of the spell, his heart truly desired me for reasons other than sexual hunger. It gave me such a different feeling. For the first time ever, I could feel my heart beat within my chest for other reasons than desire—reasons I do not know right yet.

All I knew was that I wanted to keep this Zaterran close to me. So I extended a hand to him, accepting his risky offer.

Being a succubus in a relationship would be... Interesting. But for him, I was willing to give it a shot. Because like my body was for men, the way he looked at me was so addicting.

her name is suki nakamura! i think i have spoken about this before, but suki’s name can have two meanings: (1) beloved and in verb form ‘to like’ and (2) a derivation from the word ‘tsuki’ or moon. 

suki’s name is ironically also derived from both of her parents’ names: daisuke and mizuki. for me, it really emphasizes the fact that at least in her first character arc, she considers herself her parents’ daughter first, rather than being her own person– everything she does, even down to her own name is a reminder of her parents in this sense. this then makes her arc, i think, all the more obvious in that she needs to let go of her parents so that she can become her own person.

What would you say the antithesis of your character is? How jarring would it be for you to write them? Do you think your character could ever develop into their antithesis? Would that be good, or bad, in your opinion?

       Sonic is the figurative embodiment of freedom; the idea of the self, removed from all societal expectation. Pure independence, with no restraint; the ability to forge your own path. As his theme song goes, "this fight is not for anybody, this is purely for myself". He values a life where choices are his to make, and encourages that same autonomy for everyone, no matter the reason.

     Which means the true antithesis of Sonic is oppression — absolute power corrupts absolutely. Authoritarian principles as an exercise of control. Unfair and cruel treatment in the name of 'order'. The Eggman Empire is notorious for this behavior, and so Sonic raises a protective fist against it whenever necessary.

     And he always will, until the day he inevitably kicks the bucket. I can't see him willingly forgoing his morals and taking choice away from others, especially at such a large scale. It goes against everything he believes in, and Chip put it best: "You're too strong to lose yourself!" Sonic has that heart of gold. No matter how many times you knock him down, he'll find a way to stand again.

     But... hypothetically, what would it look like for Sonic to swap teams? Pretty bad.

     This might be a world where he becomes an egg boss. A bad fight. Some poor decisions. Lost friends. Eggman is convincing and something goes awry. Sonic makes for a powerful enemy, this we know — but he's an even more powerful ally. He could enforce some very strict ruling. I think people could even come to fear him. Perhaps it wasn't a matter of his choice, but forced compliance; there are ways to make someone your puppet.

     In terms of writing, it wouldn't be jarring! I love a good alternate universe and I explore them frequently with friends, or in my verses. Sonic is a fun character to do this with, since you can put him in situations he'd never be in canonly. A li'l bit of drama is always welcome. 😏

So this "succubus" character you just wrote Syzoth headcanons for, is she your character that's in your pfp? She's cool. I wouldn't mind reading some self-inserts, if that's what you're planning on doing. Also, what do you have planned for fics?

Yup! I guess you could say she is. Though she is a bit more of a OG character, than a persona. But I thought about making her into one, just for fun. Let me know if you think that a good idea! Also, so far I am doing a few requests. I have a Nightwolf x fem!reader that I'm doing for a friend. That is almost finished. And I have a couple Syzoth x fem!readers as well. But everything has a but of a delay on it, due to Christmas. However, I am feeling a bit more up to writing again, so they should be out soon. 🙂
