eventually tho, kazu gave you a chance once he got better

not the best boyfriend, but he’s trying to be better for you

he likes to keep things tidy around the house

— man, today sucked. seriously, everything that could’ve possibly gone wrong went wrong. you thought it would get better, but boy you were wrong.

it was so bad that when you entered your shared home, sadness written across your face, chuuya couldn’t help but guide you to the couch and question you on what was wrong.

you sat down and explained to him that everything just went to shit and there was nothing you could do to stop the panic attacks and overthinking from happening. you immediately begin to tear up and couldn’t even finish your sentences without having to pause for air.

you didn’t seem to notice the tears started rolling down your face when the ginger boy stroked his knuckle lovingly across your face, wiping your tears away from your cheek.

chuuya pulled you into his arms, rubbing small circles on your back with his thumb, whispering it’s gonna be okay babe, you’re stronger than you think you are.

after you calmed down, chuuya suggests that you two played some video games, knowing that it would cheer you up. you’ve always had some sort of hidden talent playing games, it was as if you were naturally good at them.

eagerly, you skipped to the gaming system and chose your favorite game. you grabbed the two controllers, extending your hand out to hand chuuya one of them.

you watched as his eyes flicked from the screen back to your hand, a look of reluctance on his face. does he not want to play this one?

you offered to change the game, but he shook his head and insisted on playing this one. i’m gonna kick your ass on it, too.

you played a few dozen rounds together, chuuya only winning about 3 or 4 of them. you noticed the boy’s temper gradually increasing, his selected character on the screen moving a bit more sporadically after every round lost. he seemed…desperate. like he was trying to prove something to you. it was so entertaining though, he was trying his absolute best!

ultimately though, you were declared the victor when chuuya threw the controller down and ran off, cursing that game is fucking trash anyway!

you couldn’t help but laugh at your boyfriend’s lack of self control. he made you feel better, and it was a great feeling knowing that all is well with him.
