omg thanks for the compliment, but... I’m not good at writing fanfiction.

I actually TRIED to write a fanfic a month or so ago, but I’ve spent so much time writing screenplays that I’ve forgotten how to write prose.

They passed each other by, not even noticing the other as they walked down the street, although she did notice the adorable little girl that made her want to get home even faster so she could give May a hug.

But while they didn’t notice the moment, Fate did - and Fate always has ways of making things work out.

The next time they saw each other they did not pass by but found a strange connection through teasing and laughter that would grow as the years went by.

Taylor finished her live hit and gave her microphone to her photographer before glancing at the ruined streets around her, a pang of pity striking her heart.

It took her a minute to recognize the bedraggled man screaming out a name, "Christopher!!! Chris!!!", but when she did it somehow made everything around her even worse.

She ran to him, placing a cautious hand on his shoulder, and was taken aback by how wild his eyes looked from this close, and that decided it for her - whoever he was looking for was important enough to make him look like that, so she was going to help.

Taylor seethed as the blond boy about her age was slammed backwards into the lockers, blood dripping from his nose as he stared defiantly up at the bully.

But it's not like she could do anything - she was the new girl, and it was social suicide to get in the middle of something like that in her first week.

But when the bully swung at the blond boy again she couldn't stop herself, dropping her backpack and rushing to help the blond boy; she was Taylor Kelly Martin and there was no way she was going to sit by and watch as an obvious injustice was being done - she had too much experience with how painful that could be.

It took Athena's breath away as she watched him move effortlessly across the ice, the seductive movement of his body electrifying her.

He leaped across the ice, winking as he briefly made eye contact with her, and she suddenly needed him to finish his routine immediately so that they could get home.

"Thank God for flexible men," she thought with a small smile, already making plans for when they finally made it to the privacy of their bedroom.

Harry had met Bobby when his class went on a field trip to visit a firehouse, and he immediately thought that he would make his mom the happiest woman in the world.

When he first told May about it she thought it was silly, but when she met Hen's boss she had to agree with Harry - there was something about him that she felt would be perfect for her mom, although she was never quite sure exactly what that was.

Sibling shenanigans had never been more fun or less productive (at first), but when they finally got the two of them in a room together May and Harry high-fived, because once Bobby and Athena started talking they never wanted to stop.

Bathena where Hen sets them up first

Hen knew the second that Athena broke up with Aaron - a relationship she didn't think would last long - that she had to help her get together with the person she knew would be perfect for her.

It didn't take long for Bobby and Athena to realize that Hen was not showing up for the lunch date she had (separately) with both of them - nor did it take them long to understand why she had conspired to get them talking over lunch together.

Later that night Hen couldn't stop laughing at Athena's text: "You did that on purpose."

Taylor could feel the tension running throughout his body as they waited in the living room, her hands clasped tightly in his, and her heart ached for him.

Buck closed his eyes, feeling as if he could barely breathe; this was the last thing he wanted to be doing right now, but somehow his parents talked him into it.

He felt some of his nerves dissipate as warm lips pressed gently against his cheek, and a soft voice told him “It’s okay - I’ve got you.”

Athena met him and saw a heart filled with grief and guilt beneath the veneer of optimism.

She met his daughter, and when she saw the burns scarring half her face she understood why.

And when he let her into his heart, she held them both close to her - as if with her love she could heal some of that pain (she could).

For your post I got one for all three of them. 😊

1) Bathena meets at a first responder conference, while Bobby still lives in Minnesota (I would say either mid to late 2013 or early 2014 before the fire).

2) For BuckTaylor, while Buck is still trying to find himself with his travels while he's filling up for gas he meets Taylor.

3) Mavid, Michael's building a house across the street from David house.

4) Hasso, They bump into each other at the grocery store.

Bonus:

Maddney, as soon she got in LA, Maddie goes to a bar to try to calm her nerves. It also happens to be karaoke day. She see Chimney singing karaoke.

1) Bathena

They bumped into each other just once, but it left a lasting impression.

In those brief moments they recognized a kindred spirit, and saw someone in each other they would have liked developing a friendship with

But if you had told either one of them at the time just how deep that eventual friendship would go they would have laughed.

2) BuckTaylor

A quick glance between two strangers grew longer as they both appreciated what they saw.

They were traveling in opposite directions and somehow that had led them to each other, even if only briefly.

Maybe it was fate, maybe it was luck, maybe it was destiny - but in that first glance they both caught a glimpse of their future.

3) Mavid

David didn't go sit out on his porch with a glass of lemonade with a plan to oggle the hot architect who was building a house across the street, honestly!

Michael also wasn't planning on being so distracted by his attractive new neighbor that he managed to make a fool of himself and fall off a ladder.

But as meet cutes go, waking up to a gorgeous doctor giving him mouth to mouth was not a bad way to go.

4) Haysso

Josh was having the worst day of his life - first he had such a bad cold he could barely breathe, then he discovered he didn't have any tea or cough medicine anywhere and so had to leave the house while sick to get some.

He was grumbling under his breath while trying to find a box of peppermint tea when he bumped into Carson, and suddenly he couldn't breathe for a reason that had absolutely nothing to do with his cold.

Josh was having the best day of his life.

5) Madney

Maddie hadn't intended to stay this long at the bar - her plan was just to get a drink or two and figure out what she was going to say to Buck when she saw him - but the beer was good and the music was intoxicating.

Or was it the singer who was intoxicating?

Chimney couldn't keep his eyes off of the beautiful woman sitting at the bar while he sang karaoke but when he made his way over to introduce himself she was gone; but the sparks that flew when their eyes met was so magnetic he wished that he would somehow be able to find her again.

It was an impossible romance - one that her father would have sneered at, and that the other ladies in court would mock in staged whispers - but when Taylor looked at the stableboy for the first time rank, breeding, reputation, and future all seemed unimportant.

He could never be worthy of a lady of such high standing, but as he gathered a bouquet of flowers for her he couldn't help but hope that she would at least accept them - even if she could not accept his heart.

She accepted his heart and gave her own in return, not caring about the mindless jeers of the arrogant rabble - for love was worth whatever consequences came their way.

She saw him lying motionless on the ground as she entered the flame-filled room and fear froze her blood; she couldn't breathe - regardless of the oxygen mask.

She barely gave Ethan a second thought after firing her gun, desperately hoping that she hadn't already lost her husband - desperately hoping that she was not too late.

With trembling hands, terrified that she was too late, she checked his pulse - and was overjoyed to find that at least this time she wasn't too late to save the man she loved from a bullet.

Nothing in the world mattered other than her soft lips against his, her arms wrapped around him, and the feeling of her body pressed close against his as he leaned against the engine, drowning in the fiery passion of the moment.

"Nothing else matters," he reminded himself as Chim walked around the truck, the cheery "Hey, Cap..." dying on his lips.

The two of them spared a glance for Chimney, glaring at him as he backed away with his hands up in surrender, a grin on his face - before they got back to what they were doing and allowed the world to melt away in the heat.
