OK IDK IF YOU’RE SUPRISED WITH LANCE BEING NUMBER 1 BUT HEAR ME OUT! I think Lance would be the best hugger BECAUSE his hugs feel like home. We know that he has a big family so I like to think that hes done a lot of hugging and comforting with his cousins and siblings, making him an expert at them! He definitely squeezes people when he hugs them, he just loves giving them!

Plus he doesn’t make them weird! They instantly feel natural and not forced, like Pidge and Keith’s are. You could just go up to Lance and randomly hug him and he wouldn’t even question you, bro would just go with the flow and I love him for that. Yeah his hugs feel like home, he makes you feel included in what feels like small secrets.

Hunk

Next Hunk! I was seriously debating hard about who should be #1 in this list, but I ended up putting homeboy second. Hunk is an automatically emotional and caring person, so imagine that registered into hugs?? Bro gives the biggest yet softest hugs EVER. Same with Lance, hugging him doesn’t feel weird whatsoever, he’s just trying to comfort you!

His hugs feel like a blanket, protecting and comforting. Did that make sense?? He would definitely be the type to pick you up and swing you around in a hug though! Hunk finds hugging to be a really stress relieving thing so be sure to give him one if he looks like he needs one!

Shiro

SHIRRROOOO WOOOO!!! A solid third place, pretty good if I say so myself. I think with Shiro, his hugs are very grounding. He would usually only hug people if they really REALLY need it. But despite how sparse his hugs are, he makes them all worth it. If you ever have a serious conversation with him, just know that he will always hug you in the end, not only to comfort you but to also thank you for trusting him with your secrets and feelings.

His hugs aren’t too tight or too loose, it feels like he’s actually like really holding you. HEAR ME OUT ITS HARD TO PUT IT INTO WORDS! BUT!! You feel seen with his hugs, he actually sees you and hears you, and Shiro is willing to protect the person deep down inside you. His hugs feel like a shield, ready to comfort and provide a safe space for you.

Allura

I love Allura so much omg. I placed her kinda low because I feel like she doesn’t give hugs often at all. Like you would have to go to her yourself and just ask, which she will question you. But if you look like you really need one, she will give you the WARMEST hug ever. Allura’s hugs are delicate in a way. She would hold someone as if they were fragile, being light with her touch because she doesn’t want to accidentally make you uncomfortable.

But despite that, her hugs bring a lot of comfort, they make you feel as if everything is going to be alright. Hugs make Allura feel vulnerable so be prepared for long hugs. She hugs you but just know that she needs that same amount of comfort too. Her hugs feel like finding inner peace, all your nerves instantly settle when she pulls you in her embrace.

Pidge

I feel like Pidge is a somewhat closed off person. I think we’ve seen that Pidge can be an emotional person, but when it comes to physical touch, she doesn’t really think twice about it. Like Allura, you would have to ask her for a hug if you really wanted one. And when you do she might feel a little awkward giving you one😭😭I think she’s really used to only giving her family hugs so giving hugs to friends and you may put her off a little. But after the first few hugs, Pidge would definitely grow to enjoy your hugs!

I feel like she’s the type to rub your back, maybe even rock you guys side to side since she can’t keep still for too long. She might tell a joke while you hug too hehe. Her hugs feel like hugging an old friend, making sure to let you know how much those moments mean to her when you guys have a hugging session.

Keith

Rock bottom, he was an easy decision to make, at least for me. As much as I love Keith, I just KNOW he would be pretty reluctant in giving hugs. He’s not at all used to touching other people like that, he views it as something pretty intimate. So when he finally gives you a hug after some time, he’s pretty nervous, so bro is like really rigid and awkward when hugging you. It would take some time for him to finally loosen up, he’s just so tense.

Keith saves his hugs for people he’s close with. Hugging is Keith’s way of saying “hey I care about you!” He rarely gives hugs though unless he feels the need to. He’s also the type to like rub your back while hugging, it’s something he doesn’t realize he does. It feels weird hugging him at first since he isn’t used to being so close to someone, but he learns to just appreciate the small moment. His hugs feel like summer nights, they’re really refreshing and hugging him is like a new experience everytime.

“we apologize for having you wait so long, there were some… issues about sleeping arrangements but whenever you’re ready i’d be more than happy to show you to one of the guest rooms.” yunho says politely with his hands clasped behind his back. the whole ordeal feels like customer service and i have to stifle a laugh at the overly formal way they both speak. seonghwa glances at him out his periphery but just as quickly looks back to me and offers me a polite smile that doesn't quite reach his eyes. why he's being so odd is beyond me, seeing as he was the one to bring me here and insist on me staying in the first place. his behavior causes me to hesitate, slowly closing my book and tucking it underneath my arm. yunho still stands with a gentle smile on his face but by the way his eyes flick over to seonghwa, i can tell he can sense my hesitation. i look between the two once more before huffing and pushing to my feet, running my hands over the wrinkles in my skirt. neither of the men wait for me to say anything, yunho turns to hold open the door and seonghwa bows in my direction before maneuvering out the door. i quirk a brow at the space seonghwa left before following yunho out into the hall.

“nothing.” you said way too fast, your voice unstable. you felt the chuckle that reverberated in his chest as his hands were now underneath the shirt you were wearing. he was only lightly touching your skin but you felt like everywhere he touched was leaving sparks of heat. how this man got you so needy for him so fast was beyond you. your eyes fluttered shut as he started to press actual kisses to your neck and shoulders, lightly sucking on the area near your ear.

a few minutes later, yunho heard the sounds of soft snoring coming from behind him and turned, the sight nearly causing his heart to crawl straight out his chest. there you and mingi were, sleeping so soundly on his bed. you cuddling with his pillow. yunho had to hold back from cooing out loud as he watched mingi’s head rise and fall with the movement of your breathing, the other man’s mouth hung open as he snored. in truth, the scene was nothing new. yunho had an entire folder on his phone filled with pictures of you and mingi napping together. if you came over while yunho was out teaching a dance class, it was almost guaranteed he’d come back home to see the two of you huddled up under blankets on the couch with an anime long forgotten on the TV. but never once had he seen it happen right in his own bedroom, on his own bed. it sent a tingly warmth through his chest as he thought about how nice it’d be to come home to this everyday. his two favorite people in the entire world, finding comfort in his space.

even though it's not a created album, the hidden album highlighted in blue text underneath your other albums catches his attention. jun imagines what you could possibly have put in there and snorts a laugh to himself. it's probably embarrassing pictures you have of yourself or the boys, or maybe inappropriate memes. he figures he's got nothing to lose and clicks the album. of course, it's locked but he knows you well enough and he's smart so figuring out the password takes him barely 2 seconds. his suspicions are confirmed as he scrolls up through the album and sees a multitude of pictures you've taken of the other boys. but as he scrolls further the pictures change… now he's looking at pictures of you, some taken in your mirror with your ambience lighting set on purple or red, some taken while you're in bed, and they're nothing scandalous maybe a little suggestive but really why do you even hide these? none of them are even that bad… junhui stops in his tracks, thumb hovering over your phone. the photos he's looking at now can't be you. there's no way. his sweet, quiet, funny, inexperienced best friend cannot possibly have taken these pictures. but as he presses one to enlargen it, he sees that it most definitely is you. you half-naked, sitting up on your knees with a pillow stuffed in between the space created by your legs and the mattress. the hem of the large tee you're wearing is in your mouth as you display the sexy set of black lace underneath. jun feels like he might die. he swipes. the next photo isn't any better. in fact, it's much worse and as he continues swiping he has an inkling that the rest of the album is like this too. raunchy, lewd photos of you in your bed or bathroom. some your tits are fully on display, some you're only in a large tee, some you're only in lingerie. and all of them make his head spin and blood rush straight to his cock.

“uhm… yeah i’m fine… just thinking.” you said, nerves getting to you and making you opt out of saying what was really on your mind. you knew it was silly to still be nervous around the two of them but you couldn’t help it. you could feel the energy in the tiny kitchen of your guys’ apartment shift as the tension only grew with the prolonged silence. the two knew you well enough to pick up on not only the nervous lilt in your voice but also your body language. the way you were shifting your weight, avoiding eye contact, and picking at your clothes all clear indicators that there was definitely more than you were actually saying. 

“___, you can tell us whatever’s on your mind,” you looked up at minghao as he spoke gently to you. “when have we ever judged you?” he asked, head tilting slightly. you looked away again, drawing in a dramatic breath and looking up towards the ceiling. damn him and his extremely convincing eyes.

“i was… i was thinking about the last time we were all together.” you rushed out still staring up at the ceiling, refusing to look at either of them as you finally confessed to the thoughts plaguing you. 

minghao knew exactly what you were talking about. he did the moment he picked up on how nervous you were, he just wanted you to admit it. mingyu, on the other hand, was still trying to decipher what you were (not) saying.“...what about it?”, mingyu piped up, expression resembling a confused puppy with the way his head was still tilted. he was trying to recall the last time you were all together… oh. you and minghao saw the realization hit him as his eyes flicked between the both of you. hao smirked amusedly before looking back at you. you finally made eye contact with him, bottom lip caught between your teeth.

Kobalt had been jumped by you are your friends, her hands pinned aboveher head by one of your friends. You sat on her legs, grinning big as you wiggled your fingers in front of her face. Your friend sat on the side of her. There was a large smile plastered across their face, but not as large as the goofy grin that was on Kobalt's. You had forgotten how adorable she could be when "threatened" in this way. But she was absolutely asking for it. From wearing her cropped t-shirt, leaving her belly exposed, to being as annoying as possible with you and your friends, it seemed like she was just begging for the tickles. "H-Hey-! We- we can talk about this, you guys-! I mean, c'mon Y/N, pleaseee~?" She laughed nervously, peering up at you all with her heterochromic eyes. "Hmm~, noo, I don't think we can, nor do we want to~," you teased as you pushed her shirt up a little higher, exposing the entirety of her tan tummy. Kobalt began shifting nervously, trying to pull her wrists free from your friend's as she giggled hysterically. Thankfully, your friend was very strong, so they only had to use one hand to hold her arms above her head. So, now they had a free hand if they wanted to join in on the tickling shenanigans. "Aww, she's so nervous~.. what's the matter Kobalt~? Where'd that bratty attitude you had before go~?" Your friend teased. They had already started, skittering their fingertips against her side, using their other hand to knead her other side. You continued to just swirl your finger in her poor bellybutton as you listened to her scream and laugh uncontrollably. "Aww, we've got a wiggler here~!" Your friend teased as they easily held Kobalt's wrists. You smile fondly at her reactions as you reach your free hand up to her armpit, gently scratching and tracing the hollow. Kobalt screamed and arched her back, cackling helplessly as she kicked and bargained for her release. You smiled at her reactions, as your friend who held her arms above her head tickled her right under her chin, causing her to scrunch up her shoulders. "Maybe just for a little while longer, Kobalt~.. After all~.." You paused, wiggling your finger in her bellybutton a little faster. "You can't just wear a crop top aaaaalll day and not expect things like this to happen~.." you taunted. the vision hunt decree. the disease that plagued inzuma, hidden under the guise of law and order. it overtook all of inazuma, taking peoples treasures away from them.

for you, it took away your love.

ever since the decree started, kazuha fled from inazuma, from you, from the home and space you both ever so carefully constructed with love. in the process only leaving a small note on your bedside drawer.

the note carried with it small star shaped tear stains and heavy deep folds that signified the opening and refolding of the note countless times. that’s all you had of him. as you read about your lover going on the run to save his life, something pulled at your heart, pride for your lover and what he was doing but a deep grief for all you both had lost. each other. and more.

for a year, you would sneak out of the city to catch a glimpse of your lover, a soft touch on the cheek, a glimmer in your eyes as they met. but nothing more. you forgot how it felt to hear his voice and to melt into it, or to feel his lips pressing into your skin in the softest degree of affection. and you never knew if the day would come where you would once again feel his touch.

everyday without him made the yawning hole in your heart so much deeper, as if each day that passed, the grief that followed burrowed itself into that hole.

but the day did come. the vision hunt decree was lifted. kazuha never explicitly told you he’d be coming home, but you knew. you knew your kazuha would come to you as soon as he could, bringing the smell of sweet maple leaves and home.

he was your home.

a note appeared the next day. your eyes darted over neat elegant lettering, a soft smile coming to your lips.

“i’ll be home tomorrow. 8 am.”

at 7:50 am, you stepped out of your house, your heart bursting with excitement.

at 7:55 am, anxiety filled you as the clock slowly ticked forward, inching closer to the moment you were eagerly awaiting.

at 8:00, you looked around, a smile coming unbidden to your face, your heart feeling like it was going to burst.

at 8:05, a slight uneasiness filled you, as you shifted from one foot to another, shifting your weight as if you could shift your sorrow around.

at 8:30, you blinked away the tears in your eyes, willing your the hole in your heart not to grow larger.

at 10:00 am, you turned around, taking the first step back to your home, the first step back to a definite future without kazuha. soft tears slipped down your cheeks, leaving thin streams of sorrow down your face.

at 10:02 am, two warm arms wrapped around your torso, an out of breath voice hovering above your ear.

“i am so so sorry my dove. i was trying to get home but the ship hit a really rocky patch of sea and it was so horrible you cannot imagine-”

a pause.

“dove?”

your body shook as heart wrenching sobs left your chest, built up grief all pouring out at once. you felt the arms that held your waist twisting you around, his hands now at the small of your back, gently pressing you into his warm embrace.

“kazu-“ your voice cracked. maybe now that it held the weight of your grief, it too was crumbling. “i missed you so much”

the arms encircling you tightened around you, and a soft kiss was placed atop your head. you had forgotten how his kisses felt; even if they were delicate as the wind, they filled you with warmth.

“i’m here now. i’m never going again.” another kiss, this time on your forehead.

“never.”

and you slowly felt the hole in your heart healing.

He’d let your fingers run over the sequins for a few moments while he would fully just be smiling in awe at you. He can’t help himself but lean in and give you the softest kiss. He’d let it linger and place a few more soft pecks against your lips.

“‘nd I’ve just got some blue jeans on.. but they’re a little cheeky..” he’d grin and guide your hand down to his back pockets, “got sparkly initials on my ass too..”

✨Gentle Rain✨

- He’ll make you guys a cute little lunch! Lots of comfort foods, he’ll either make you your favorite Devildom soup or he’ll ask you to teach him how to make your favorite Human world soup (if you can’t cook that’s fine just give him the recipe!)

- Beel has a hard time sleeping most nights but the rain tends to make it easier so he’ll ask you to take a nap with him so he can be extra cozy and fall asleep faster!

- The two of you will usually curl up on his bed and listen to the rain as it hits the windows and the soft rumbles of thunder in the distance. What is supposed to be a quick hour nap accidentally turns into a five hour slumber, both of you waking up just in time for dinner.

⚡️Thunderstorms⚡️

- Beel has a harder time falling asleep during thunder storms so he’ll pull you in as close as he can to help him relax, he may not actually sleep, instead he’ll watch the lightning out the window with you. Thinks its adorable when you jump at the volume of the thunder.

- Firm believer that Beel gives amazing cuddles and they only get BETTER when it’s raining outside!!

- If the storm is too loud and he can’t really sleep because of it then the two of you will usually just spend the day relaxing and talking, he loves rainy days because it means more time with you.💖

Mammon

- Will ask you to go driving around with him! The two of you drive for a little bit, maybe get a snack, then end up parking somewhere and just enjoy your private time together.

- He’ll take this time to have more serious conversations with you, ones that he normally wouldn’t at the HOL, simply because his brothers can’t interrupt him mid sentence/thought. The sound of the rain hitting the car makes it all the more soothing and helps ease any anxiety he has about talking with you.

- Also would 1000% combust on the spot if you kissed him in the rain, especially if he’s not expecting it at all. You guys are just walking home from RAD and it starts lightly raining, you pull on his sleeve making him turn to look at you, you give him a gentle kiss and he just m e l t s, 15/10 will definitely ask you to do it again when it rains

⚡️Thunderstorms⚡️

- As soon as the first clap of thunder hits this boy is IN YOUR ROOM crawling under the blankets with you! He’ll try to say it’s so you won’t be afraid of the storm but in reality he’s been forced to watch too many horror movies and knows this is when bad things happen if you’re alone

- Even though he jumps every time it thunders he loves the way you look when the lightning flashes and lights up your room, this man is an absolute simp someone please help him.

- Mainly a day full of cuddles, whether it’s in bed or on the couch, he’s got you curled up against him, you know….so you feel safe or whatever…that’s all. He may not actually be afraid of storms but he definitely uses them as an excuse to be close to you!

- Wanna watch movies all day? Sure! You try to put on a scary movie or a tv show with spooky vibes? He will throw the remote so far. Is the massive storm raging outside not enough for you?? Now you wanna make him suffer through this? Fine. But he’s gonna hide his face in your neck the entire time.
