hey besties I just sat in the dark 24 hrs a day for a week thinking about Sherlock abd I have completely figured out the show and how series 5 will play out.
Basically, its gonna be about the universe, the stars. The sun reflecting on the moon. Some more planet themes. Maybe a scene behind the clock face of big ben, or the observatory.
Sherlock has had a stroke and is dying, but has figured out that john is about to kill himself. He comes back to life, for a third time, for John. The love of his wife. He figures it out some how.
series 4 was the fake Vermeer painting, and the van buren super nova, an explosion, solved it. There will be no more pop songs bc thats Moriarty’s thing. ( there was a 80’s pop song reference in every series accept series 1, so there wont be one in 5 )
Alex Garrideb killee by eurus, was also Alex the star gazer from the great game, who was drowned in water.
The final series will once and for all define who sherlock really is. He isn’t Moriarty, but he isn’t a saint. He’s just johns guy.
You? Me. YOU. it’s you. Miss me? ME. Who is this? This is… me. Mary Elizabeth. Immediately. M.
This post is so deranged and I am very proud of myself. More to come.
“I am you, Prepared to do anything, prepared to burn, to do what ordinary people wont do.”- Sherlock, s2e3

Hi Steph! What do you think was written in John's letter? (the one Molly gives to Sherlock when Sherlock goes to visit John)
Hey Nonny!
OH GOSH that's the question, hmm.
Honestly, I don't really know. Sherlock's reaction was kind of ambiguous, but since I think S4 is "not what we see" on the surface, I think it might have been a secret message to Sherlock from John regarding John's Alibi, maybe? I dunno. I haven't sat down and watch S4 in so long to give a definitive "yes, this is what I think it is" but I do think it has something to do with John's Alibi, given that I think ALL of S4 is told "like a story" (with fantastical elements and such). I like this theory here by Jenna, and while not 100% my belief, I think it's a good one.
Anyway, so yeah, I absolutely HATE that the note was a pointless thread they created in the episode, but I definitely don't believe it was scathing to Sherlock. I think it was a coded message, given how many "codes" are often strewn about the series.

We had Sherlock scripts in the past!
Everyone has seen the Sherlock scripts the BBC just released, but something that might interest y'all is that we have had at least some version of a script for almost every episode for years before this! I've kept copies in a database I've been slowly working on since 2015, and we were only missing scripts for the unaired pilot, the mini-episode between S2 and S3 called Many Happy Returns, TAB (although iirc an anti-TJLCer bought a paper copy in an auction and afaik did not choose to share it online? link me if I'm wrong), T6T, and TFP.
There are different versions of scripts, so the versions we had before might not be the same as the ones that were just released. Any differences are potentially interesting!
I'm dealing with a family crisis rn unfortunately so it'll be a bit before I can read the new batch of scripts myself, BUT I would love it if any of you want to compare the scripts that were just released to the ones I have saved and let us know what you find! Are they the same, are they different?
ALSO, I have no idea where I got these because I've lost the paper trail over the years. If anyone wants to credit their origin, PLEASE let me know and I'll update this post.
LINK TO SCRIPTS WE HAD BEFORE 2022 -- tell me if this doesn't work, love ya, bye

s4 John
So we know John (and Mary too) gets a new hairstyle in T6T. But someone mentioned that in s4 John no longer wears jumpers? Is that true? Did he never wear a jumper not even once? Because if he didn't that's really interesting.

I am absolutely obsessed with Sherlock’s relationship with his own life throughout the series. From “risking [his] life to prove [he’s] clever” in ASIP to being willing to shoot a bomb if it meant taking Moriarty down with him in TGG to, you know, literally jumping off a building in TRF, he is very careless with his own life and more than willing to throw it aside. He voluntarily chose an exile that would lead to his death in HLV and was actively suicidal in T6T. Which makes the culmination of his arc in TLD so beautiful to me—here, he recognizes the worth of his own life, his attitude switches to “your life is not your own, keep you hands off it,” and, at the end, literally proclaims “I don’t want to die” with tears in his eyes. It is genuinely lovely to see Sherlock realize the importance of treating his own life with care.
…which is why it is all the more frustrating when he is right back on his bullshit in TFP, threatening to kill himself instead of Mycroft in a bluff to Eurus.
In summary, TFP is the fucking worst.

Is the jump drive in TGG any link to the timeline mirror for the agra jump drive in T6T?
Just curious.
So if I'm understanding the whole mirrored structure thing correctly (and I certainly hope so because I'm leaning into it intensely for the Dracula AU I'm writing), TGG would actually be a mirror to an episode we don't have yet: 5.1.
But this got me thinking of what would happen if you took the show as it stands now and tried to apply the same idea with the hiatus between TRF and TEH serving as the midpoint. That would be very thematically fitting for the story as it currently exists... It's a bit wonky because of TAB, but there is a sort of symmetry to it. If nothing else the two characters coming full circle in the worst way at the end of TFP is really driven home.
So if you did that I suppose TST would be leading the characters away from the Moriarty arc, kind of the opposite of TGG, and the flash drive is their way towards that final plotline of exploring Mary and Eurus to bring John and Sherlock back to the starting point.

Hello Steph!
Can you give some links to the meta posts where how Mary's still alive after TST discussed?
Thanks!
Hey Nonny!
Oh, gosh good question! I don't recall any specifically, although I think that there are some theories within the John's Alibi speculation for S4 that fit this bill.
As I said, I don't know one specifically related to your requested topic, so if anyone has any meta they can share, please do!

God well now I’m cracking up because…looking back…well not only would that be a weird stylistic tweak for an edit that focuses on long haired John but I was not even saying that from a place of casual viewing…I was a hardcore tjlc-er who lived for each release and devoured every meta like I don’t know what I was thinking but I’m laughing at myself
don’t worry about it, i think we all misremember how actors look as the years pass. for example, this is mary in T6T. feeling old yet?

What Makes Street Foods So Special?
Street food is more than just a quick and convenient meal on the go. It’s an experience that brings together the flavors, smells, and culture of a particular place. In recent years, street food has become more popular worldwide, and for good reason. There’s something special about the dishes served by vendors on the streets that sets them apart from restaurant food. In this article, we explore what makes street food so special and why it’s worth trying.
1.Freshness and Authenticity One of the main reasons street food stands out is its authenticity. Unlike restaurants that may focus on fancy presentations and international twists, street food is often prepared using traditional methods passed down through generations. These dishes are made using fresh and locally-sourced ingredients, giving them a unique and genuine taste that can’t be found anywhere else.
2. Diversity
Street food is not limited to one type of cuisine, and it often reflects the cultural diversity of a particular region. You can find a wide range of street foods, from Indian chaat to Mexican tacos, and each dish has its own unique flavor profile. When you explore street food, you’re not just eating, you’re traveling the world through your taste buds.
3. Accessibility
Another reason street food is so special is its accessibility. You don’t need to make a reservation, dress up, or spend a lot of money to enjoy it. You can simply walk up to a food cart or vendor and order your meal. This accessibility allows you to try new foods without committing to a full restaurant experience.
4.Community Street food is more than just food; it’s a community. Many street food vendors have been operating for generations and have become a staple in their neighborhoods. They often know their customers by name and create a welcoming environment that makes people feel at home. When you eat street food, you’re not just eating a meal; you’re becoming part of a community.
5.Innovation While street food is often steeped in tradition, vendors are also known for their innovative twists on classic dishes. They experiment with flavors, textures, and presentations to create new and exciting food experiences. This creativity keeps street food fresh and exciting, and there’s always something new to try.
In conclusion,
street food is special because of its authenticity, diversity, accessibility, community, and innovation. When you try street food, you’re not just eating; you’re experiencing the culture and history of a place through its food. So next time when you want to enjoy street food in Edmonton, don’t forget to visit Amritsar restaurant to enjoy various street food like — Pani -puri, chaat- papdi, pav-bhaji, samosa, dahi bhalle, and much more. This is the Best Indian cuisine restaurant Edmonton. Try something new and discover the magic of street food for yourself.
