This is Sun through the Leaves (he/they), a tabaxi ranger, the one from the sketch a bit ago. He's a cis aro/ace himbo and I love him so much. He's gentle and kind and also kinda dumb. He is amputated below the knees because of a childhood injury. If there are any leg amputees out there who have experience with prosthetics, I would appreciate feedback on the design. He wouldn't wear running blades normally, that's just how the first sketch of him was (info on prosthetic leg design below the cut)
His prosthetic isn't attached with the metal bit into the leg, it's attached with the socket with sleeve suction I think. There's an arced spring in the joint that allows for a more powerful jump and propulsion when climbing. There's a crampon attachment for when he's walking on dirt roads or climbing more regularly. The design is based heavily on the Klippa prosthetic climbing leg. The foot is based on a goats hoof with the metal on the outside acting like the keratin and the rubber as the foot pad.
