I just want to say thank you to everyone who has shown interest in and supported Afterlife Archive so far. The reblogs, hearts, downloads on Itch, and the comments have been so encouraging.

This is the first rpg I've ever made, and there's been a learning curve.

But what a creative, diverse, inspiring community of people. The ideas I come across on the daily, the perspectives they explore, the limits they push with mechanics and narrative infusion— I'm often left giddy with enthusiasm over all the possibilities presented. It's just SO COOL.

So thank you for giving Afterlife Archive— and me —a moment to play in your mind.

There's still more work to be done on the game. The art part. And then the Kickstarter printrun campaign. But things are going really well.

I want to share all the new artwork that's been prepared thus far for the updated version that's soon to drop (the Demon isn't done yet— he's still in the line art stage and needs shading!):

So I know I retired from making D&D stuff, because of burnout. I did decide it would be okay for me to make my own games. This is a WIP of a short one I’m working on. I’m working on this and three games at the moment. Not all at one mind you. So here I present: Scrolls. It’s basically a joking take on what an Elder Scrolls tabletop rpg might look like. Complete with the ability to glitch through the floor and other bugs.

Hey! If so consider checking out World of Wyldrvir! An indie TTRPG made over the quarantine! Wyldrvir is a totally free TTRPG that has been working in a combat free and wholesome Saturday morning cartoon style of world with adorable art and simple roleplay focused storytelling!

Wyldrvir is made with the express purpose of fun, lighthearted escapism into a world where magic is new, everything is ready and ripe to be discovered, and people seek only the best interests of one another. Conflicts will arise, of course, but Worldsoul willing, everything will always work out for the better in the end. In this world where magic is directly linked to nature, and everyone works together to keep the natural world clean and bright. Your characters only goal is to explore!

The game is super simple with only a few basic roles to remember, and a massive ability for customization. You can make your own skills and make them as strange and wonderful as you would like.

At the moment the core book exists both on Itchio and Drivethru RPG. (The Drive Thru version has the chance to purchase the book physically as well!) prices for all versions are all under 20 dollars so you can pick it up painlessly! There is also a pirate themed expansion out as well for more nautical adventures! There are plans for a lot more expansions coming out as well! We have an active Discord server for the project so you can organize one-shots, and a mini podcast so you can hear a group playing it as well! You can check it all out on our Youtube channel!

Afterlife Archive has a shiny, new pdf up for grabs on Itch!

I noticed there was an influx of downloads last night, and while I was happy, I was also a little unsettled. The quality of the old pdf was... rough. XD

So, I decided that I would release the new version— minus all the new art, as I'm still working on it (,: —so that people can download the game and try out all the new, functional features!

The game is in fine working order. The only thing left to complete before the Kickstarter printrun campaign is art. Art, art, art. And that'll take me just a little more time.

So, in the meantime, for those of you that are interested in the game, please give the new version a go! I just added the new pdf file to the ITCH PAGE . ;) It's free for download~
