Craig: totally crushed.

Clyde: And then that’s when Craig walked over.

Clyde: He had gotten away from Mr. Mackey, and saw that I… just so happened to be on the ground.

Craig: You we’re in my way.

Clyde: I was in a walkway, yes.

Clyde: Then Craig was all like, “Omg, is that the famous Clyde Donovan?! He’s so cool and handsome and awesome!”

Craig: no I wasn’t-

Clyde: And then he looked me in the eyes and said, “Are you okay, great and powerful Clyde?”

Craig: no,-

Clyde: then he reached his hand OU to me and helped me up, and I stood there, majestically, hair blowing in the wind, and I said, “Yes, I’m always okay.”

Working on a new series I call "Soulace". It's about a compassionate teen named Ziv, a former nun who ran from home. She finds feared, stuck spirits and helps them to move on. On her travels, she encounters Donovan, a fiery, eccentric soul who's got a more difficult time loosening his earthly binds. I have some more brainstorming drafts with lore that I'll post later :) (p.s The background is inspired by an old Taco Bell xD)

A Word with You Three (Wednesday, Sheriff Galpin, and Tor, PG, Tumblr format)

Me: *enters my Jericho office eating fresh taco truck burrito* Hey, great you could make it. Sorry to keep you waiting.

Afterburn Wednesday: You were only a minute late.

Me: Yeah, well. I like to be punctual and when I'm not --

AW: You get anxious.

Afterburn Donovan: Me too, and I've got a whole stack of paperwork to get to, so what's up, boss?

Me: *sighs* There are reshoots...for the last part I published. *watches as Donovan groans and Wednesday blinks*

AW: What's happened?

Me: Funny you should ask. You know how I write, right?

AW: ... You're not a linear writer like me. You write scenes and tuck them away in your hard drive until it's time to place them. Sometimes you do it haphazardly and it works out.

Me: Right, well. In my rush to get the first part of that last chapter out, I accidentally stuck the last scene where it shouldn't have been, and I need that scene for Part 2. I mean, Hell I could just cut the scene altogether but I like it and it'll flow just as well in Part 2, so....

AD: *giant sigh*

AW: *lightly taps him on the shin with her boot, turns back to me* So now you need to fix it. Or rather, you need us to help you fix it.

Me: *nods, watching them glance at each other*

AW: *whispers to Donovan* This could be a good thing.

AD: *whispers* Yeah?

AW: *turns eyes back to me* And what do you propose for the reshoot?

Me: Well, since it was your birthday, I thought I might put the movie scene in there.

AW: *hardly audible gasp, suppresses excitement* Really.

AD: *leans forth, suppressing grin* So uh...you want us to finish the scene, then?

Me: Eh, I dunno how far it'll go, but reshooting it will allow me to be able to find out just how much to cram into -- uh, fit into -- well. How long it will be, I don't know. But it should be good enough to transition into Part 2. Which it isn't, right now.

*watches them steal glances at each other*

AW: ...Will we be able to continue where we left off?

Me: *chugs some Gatorade* Probably. I mean, I could just re-write that unfinished scene altogether so it goes more smoothly.

AW: So we would have to begin again?

Me: Yeah. It's just the one scene at the end of Part One. Rest of the chapter is fine. The movie scene might start off differently, which means more...uh...sexytimes. *watches her shift in her seat* You okay there?

AW: Yes. But I do think I need to consult with Donovan first. *gives him an eyeful*

AD: Huh? *looks at her...as she does something out of my view, to which he snaps back to me* Ah yeah, uh...we should talk about it.

AW: Yes. Talk.

Me: *watches her get up, snatch his sheriff's hat off his head and stride towards the door*

AW: *puts on the hat* Are you coming, Donovan?

Me: *watches him give me a nervous nod and follow her*

AD: We'll get back to you in a few minutes, boss.

Me: *wipes hands* Okay... *watches her pull him out the door and slam it shut...sighs* They aren't coming back tonight, are they.

Chancellor Laslow, stepping out from behind one of my curtains: They most certainly are not. *pats me on the shoulder* But at least they're enjoying each other, no? *squeezes shoulder more firmly and leans down* Now let's talk about me, and where I fit in...shall we?

There’s definitely a lot of narratives around the league so regardless of what team you like there is a story out there that will appeal to you. A bunch of players are really likable and I do enjoy the fact that the league doesn’t try to enforce anything egregious about the way they act or dress.

I always set out to maximize doing the things that I love the most. This year, I set a record by going to fifty-nine Twins games and the summer flew by at times. The Twins were in first place for basically all of the season. Well they were able to clinch the division unlike last year and swept the Blue Jays in the Wild-Card Series. It was such a thrilling moment high fiving my mom after we won Game 1 then strangers after winning Game 2. I went back to Kansas City (twice), Los Angeles, and Milwaukee. I got to enjoy Kramarczuk’s brats, Cuban Sandwiches on Sunday’s, and added a new food of walking tacos to the mix at Target Field. Here’s to a hell of a season and the journey I went on for the past six months. Thank you to everyone, who attended games with me or helped me throughout the summer. It was a memorable one. From Joe Ryan walking out to Fire On The Mountain and Purple Haze, to Donovan Solano introducing me to Calm Down as his walk-up song, and hearing Sky Full of Stars when Kyle Farmer dug into the batter’s box. And of course, Jhoan Duran’s entrance with all those flames. Those songs were the soundtrack to my summer at the ballpark. I am truly blessed to be able to do what I love in life. I cannot wait for spring training in March. Vivete la vida y disfruta.

Today is a great day to share the new single from Seattle-based metal/punk trio, Tacos!, called “Kick Rocks.” Band members Lupe Flores, Donovan Stewart, and Hozoji Matheson-Margullis catch lightning in a bottle on this politically-charged song that transcends genre lines. Donovan Stewart shared: This is by far one of the hardest hitting songs, out of the gate on this record. One of the first songs we co-wrote with the addition of Hozoji in Lupe’s cave of a basement in Ballard. Expressively charged by all the things happening at the time but none more hard to swallow than the prevailing racial injustice happening around the nation. Often shielded and in a false sense of security, our area in the Northwest wasn’t without its own problems.
