If I didn't included any pair it's because I haven't seen them being much hyped on my tl. Other pairs like Jinmin or Taejin are acknowledged but not as hyped on tl like above.

You will see them taking shipping duo names to praise other duos or quote something they've said to/about each other or make funny sex jokes about them but when it's time for Jikook it's either ignored majority of time or they use 'Jimin and Jungkook ' or 'Jungkook and his Jimin hyung'. When others content gets released whole tl will be about that particular pair, old and new moments, yesterday it was yoonmin's day. When Joon posted those MS pic with tae every big account posted Namtae moments or something they've said to each other to show how much they appreciate that pair. But there was nothing when Jikook decided to enlist together, when some of their pics where they were sticking to each other nor when they graduated together and decided to serve rest 17 months together.

Idk probably because Jikook shatters their 'ot7 bros' belief? Or because they don't wanna see as a shipper because among all pairs only jikook does 'fanservice' ? Or their moments are charged more than their liking so posting them will make them see as a romantic delulu shipper?

I can't believe TaeJin isn't a more popular ship. There have been some… interesting moments between them, and I think Tae has made Jin nervous on a few occasions. Overall, they have many moments that could be interpreted in various ways if shippers wanted to, and I'm surprised that it's not the case.

Now that you mention it, it is true that non-jikookers rarely use the word jikook or similar to refer to Jimin and Jungkook together. And it is something they do with other pairs or even trios. Jikook definitely makes a lot of people nervous or uncomfortable although there have been many occasions where it's been hard to ignore what they do and they've (the fandom) struggled to pass it off as a friend thing, an example of that is Hickeygate. It will be interesting to see how the fandom, particularly on Twitter reacts to whatever we see in the documentary or series that Jimin and Jungkook filmed because no matter what the content is about or how much it is edited, jikook is going to be jikook.

vmin give off sibling energy. they literally behave like siblings and it shows in how much their relationship can get ugly compared to the other members but at the same time they love each other the most. like the dumpling fight is so petty but it made them not talk to each other for days, on the other hand when they fight with other members they fix those issues pretty quickly, such as taejin's fight during the wings tour or jikook's rainy day fight. vmin, much like siblings, fight over stupid things, feel petty, and stay not talking to each other for days out of pure ego. but they also spend hours at night talking to each other about anything and everything.

vmin have said before that they talk a lot together at night, that when they're going through something personally they go to the other for comfort, in bon voyage s1 when tae was lost with the camera man none of the members were worried because he had staff with him, all except for jimin who was so worried and called tae to make sure he's okay and kept asking him if he knows where he is. in bon voyage malta when tae hadn't joined the members yet jimin was the one who kept taking videos and photos to send tae and randomly counted 7 out of everything because he's used to tae being there, and sometimes he even randomly spurted "i wish tae was here" whenever they did any kind of activity without him. and the moment tae joined them jimin was glued to him and they went out together to eat and experience stuff together that jimin wanted to share with him all the cool stuff they did when tae wasn't there.

when jimin was hospitalized last year after getting diagnosed with covid and acute appendicitis, we learned that tae facetimed him everyday when he woke up and spoke to him for hours on the phone, he also mentioned in the bts book that jimin is the one person he can't live without.

in my personal opinion, i feel like vmin have a very deep profound connection and sometimes it manifests itself in a soulmate type of way but most of the time it's just sibling behaviour, especially in recent years when you could kind of tell they're much less involved in each other's live but that connection is till not lost. vmin are probably gonna be those type of friends who don't see each other all the time but they communicate in other ways that makes them know each othe better that anyone else. they, much like family relatives, don't spend much time together and have other people to do that with (just like how siblings spend more time with their respective friends than with each other but at the end of the day only they know each other better than anyone else) and in the far future, if all bts members somehow stop communicating and each start living their own life away from the other members, vmin will be that one duo that is still in touch and visit each other occasionally during holidays, birthdays, or any other family matters. because that's the type of dynamic they share. we might not understand the soulmate aspect of it because we view a soulmate type of connection as a near-perfect type of connection but vmin are pretty much realistic soulmates. even if they're not involved in each other's lives much, they still share a deeper connection with each other than the ones they share with most of the people they know and it'll always be like that in my opinion.

Oh, I do agree with your description of their friendship. I just don’t think they’re the closest pairing. I think it’s hard to describe members friendships in terms of the way we (non BTS members) experience friendship.

i feel like tkkrs and jkkrs would be much happier if they shipped their respective pairs in the sense that, yknow. "we love their friendship, and we create fictional fanart and fics where they're dating" without any theorizing or worrying about whether they're "real" in a romantic sense or not. this even goes for the smaller communities that believe jinkook, yoonmin, taejin, or namkook are dating...everyone would be so much less stressed out, and dating news like taennie would be irrelevant. i don't know why every rps pairing that gains traction needs to be "real" in a romantic sense to be appreciated by people

The three youngest in BTS are all pranksters. No matter what you may tell yourself, you can’t deny it. They may appear cute and innocent on the outside, but once you really know them, it’s obvious they truly are little demons, and the worst is Kim Taehyung.

Sure, Jungkook is bad, and Jimin is always the one naive enough to be be pulled into everything, but Taehyung is the real ring leader, and when it comes to solo pranks, you can bet it’s always Taehyung.

He can’t help it, he’s a little tease, and secretly loves provoking people. If he can get just a little tickled out of it, isn’t that mission accomplished?

Today, he was going to pull one his favourites. A classic done so many times it was impossible to count. He had done it a few times before through the years, once to a poor, pure, unsuspecting Jungkook, and once to Hoseok. Both had gone over really well, and there were no hard feelings. But he had picked the wrong day, the wrong victim, this time.

Seokjin had just finished putting away the dishes late that night after a long and hard day at work. He was exhausted, he ached all over, and his throat felt rough and scratchy. He was so ready to just go to his room and collapse, to sleep for hours upon hours on end, knowing he didn’t have to go to the studio until the afternoon the next day. He was ready to sleep forever!

What he didn’t know, though, was that the second he opened the door to his shared room with Yoongi, a bucket of cold, moist and smelly homemade slime was waiting for him. He didn’t even know what had happened at first, and he froze, completely stunned.

It took Taehyung’s cackling to pull Seokjin from his shock, and with a new energy he checked himself to see what the hell was covering him. What he found was a light blue liquid like substance he knew all too well from the last two times he had had to clean it.

A dry chuckle left Seokjin when he realized he had just been pranked, and he tried to find it in himself to not be angry with Taehyung. It was just harmless, right? Just for fun.

But it had just been a really bad day.

Seokjin shoved Taehyung out of his way as the younger came bouncing up to him, beaming. He was so proud of himself, for managing to prank his Hyung so flawlessly! But when he was rudely pushed away when he came to Jin’s side, he began to realize that Jin didn’t seem too amused. In fact, he seemed the exact opposite.

“Hyung...?”

It was too late, though. Jin had disappeared into the nearby bathroom, slamming the door shut rather loudly behind him, which caused Taehyung to jump slightly. In the silence of the dorm, the younger could hear the sound of the lock, along with the sound of a shuddery sob.

What... what just happened?

Taehyung wasn’t quite sure of what to do, or of anything at that moment to be honest, but he was absolutely positive what had just happened was his fault, and that meant he had to do something to fix this problem. The gentle pattering from the shower was audible through the wall, so he knew Seokjin was getting cleaned up. That would give him some time to do /something/.

The first thing he did was run to his room, where he found his freshly washed clothes sitting on his bed. A zing of guilt zapped through his chest when he realized Jin must’ve put them there just moments before he had gone to his own room. Why had he thought the prank would be a good idea?

Sighing, he grabbed the warmest articles of clothing there. Since they were fresh from the dryer, the heat just radiated off them, and he knew Seokjin would appreciate the warmth. He picked out a cute pastel blue hoodie he often wore around the house, along with a pair of white shorts. He made the mental decision that underwear wasn’t important, as they would probably head to bed soon anyways.

Clothes picked, he rushed downstairs to the kitchen. Namjoon, Hoseok and Yoongi were there, talking over some sort of important work stuff. Already feeling too guilty, Taehyung didn’t say anything to them as he stole some of the hot water Namjoon had boiled to make tea, and he used it to make a nice, tall mug of hot chocolate for his Hyung, who would soon be out of the shower.

Seeming to sense Taehyung was avoiding them for a reason, the three Hyungs at the table refrained from calling him out as he left. However, they would soon find out what had happened, when Yoongi made his way up to his room much later.

Just as Taehyung got upstairs, Jin was poking his head out of the bathroom door wrapped in a towel, scanning the hallway for any of the other members. He didn’t want any of them to see him, because he knew that it was obvious when he had been crying, and he really wasn’t in the mood to be bombarded with questions.

His gaze fell on Taehyung, and his first reaction was to slam the door shut and hide. To ignore the younger until a different time. However, Taehyung was quick to grab the handle to the door and force it back open, causing Jin to stumble forward, conveniently right into the younger’s arms.

Feeling Taehyung’s warmth, Jin melted instantly, and Taehyung was grateful for the small sign of forgiveness. It gave him a reason to wrap the arm with the clothes draped over it around Jin’s back, and hold him close.

“I know you probably don’t want to hear it, but give me a chance, alright?” Seokjin shot Taehyung a look that told him to get on with it, although the older clearly wasn’t going anywhere soon, as he was still tucked in close against Taehyung’s chest. It made the younger giggle as he continued.

“I didn’t realize you were having such a bad day, Hyung, but I really shouldn’t have done that anyways. Not to you, at least! You do so much for us, and you’ve been working so hard recently. That was so mean of me.”

Leaning away, Taehyung held out of the warm clothes and steaming hot chocolate. “Could this make up for it though?” He asked almost shyly, and Jin pretended to think about it.

Of course he was ready to forgive Taehyung. He knew the younger hadn’t intended to make him so upset, and it wasn’t his fault that his day had been miserable. But he still liked to tease.

He adjusted the towel wrapped around his waist, and let out a long breath. “I think I can forgive you,” He responded, and Taehyung giggled with relief. “However, you have to clean my floor, and I’m sleeping in your bed tonight. Sound good?”

Beaming, Taehyung nodded enthusiastically. “Yes, Hyung! You go get dressed, and I’ll clean up right awa-“

A loud yell from somewhere nearby cut the poor blond off.

“What is on my floor?!”

Not the best video, but this takes place during Episode 6 of ITS if you want to watch the whole thing (and you should if you haven't already).

So I think people get confused, thinking that JK was saying that they weren't friends. Which is not true. This was never pulling their friendship in general into question. They have been ams still are good friends. When they said things got awkward and they drifted apart over the years, what I think they mean by that is that they stopped sharing their struggles with each other. It was the emotional connection that wasn't as deep. It went from "He was the easiest hyung to talk to" to talking about how he had been able to have heart to heart conversations with all the other hyungs but Tae. They talked about how that emotional connection was there and was strong in the early years. JK says how Tae was responsible for a huge part of him changing and overcoming and growing during their trainee years, how they were partners in crime back then and would seek each other out. That is what changed. It wasn't a fight, they grew up and personalities changed a bit. Tae became a bit more reserved in his antics. When they had struggles and were going through emotional turmoil, they both had a tendency to seek out other members to lean on instead of each other.

This again, is not saying they aren't friends. Never did Jungkook or Tae say they were not good friends. There are levels to friendship that everyone has, even if you aren't aware, you have them too. You can consider 6 people all your best friends, and still have very different relationships with all them and have one or 2 who you are the closest to. That doesn't take away from or diminish the bonds and friendships you have with the others though. Jungkook and Tae are not the closest in the group to each other, but they are still obviously super close. Skinship also is not an indicator of an emotional relationship. Tae and JK are both more emotionally dependent on Jimin than they are each other (or honestly anyone else). You never noticed a change in skinship because that part of their friendship never changed.

Let me say it again. Thier friendship was NEVER in question by them, and it certainly should NEVER be questioned by us.

No, I don't think they had a fight. If they had a fight, they would have sat down to figure it out or the group would have made them do so. For example, the group intervening in the TaeJin fight or the Vmin dumpling fight. Or how Jikook worked through their rainy day fight. Sure, Taekook have probably had plenty of fights we don't hear about, I bet all of them have. Every single one. You can't be together in a group like that for a decade and NOT fight. Fighting is natural, fighting can be good if done appropriately. Fighting is a way of communicating as long as their is mutual respect (which bangtan have in spades). But no, I don't think a fight took place that made Taekook take space from each other. Like you said, when together, they still had fun, plenty of skinship and silliness. If they were fighting, there would be tension. I don't see any lengthy and lingering tension between Taekook over the years in their dynamics.

I think we can see a visible shift in their dynamics around 2016. 2016 is also coincidentally the year that tkkrs started getting a lot more vocal about BH hiding Taekook. Even their own shippers noticed the dynamic shift. No, it's not in skinship. They were still and always have been friends. It was in the way that they didn't often seek each other out anymore, but rather gravitated towards other members. When they did play together, that's what it was. Play. They had fun. They have a blast together. But that's what they were, troublemakers, silly chaos creators, giggle machines, partners in crimes. They never had problems having fun together, they just stopped connecting farther than that. They didn't really hang out outside of the group just them, except for one dinner. They didn't seem to seek each other out behind the scenes. You have friends that you just have a good time with, and you have friends that you have a deeper connection with emotionally too. Neither is better or worse than the other necessarily. But the only thing that this ITS conversation confirmed was that TK are not and have never been Romantically involved, because you do need to be able to have that emotional, intellectual AND physical intimacy with a Romantic partner, while friendships can be fine with just one or two of those.

Taekooks interactions lacked that emotional intimacy. They said themselves thay that they lacked follow through when trying to have this conversation. They had heart to heart conversations with everyone else but it was awkward to have it with each other. They had boundaries pop up over the years in that area, intentional or otherwise. In their trainee years, they leaned on each other a lot emotionally, as the maknaes they stuck together. JK talks about how Tae was easy to talk to, easy to get along with and he owes a lot to him for helping him feel comfortable in the group and on stage. That right there is emotional intimacy. They lost that a little bit over the years, growing closer and emotionally dependent more on others. That's okay. It doesn't detract from their friendship, it just means it changed. Which is totally and completely normal.

Tae took that first initiative to start breaking down those boundaries and to HAVE that heart to heart talk with this conversation. It was a beautiful and vulnerable moment between them that they allowed us to witness. And since that conversation, we have seen a few more moments of where we got that general comfortable air back around them, seeking each other out more for play and to hang out (a great example is 2021 Muster). We see it in the way we got more moments from them during 2020 memories than we had in the previous years memories. They are rebuilding that connection and putting in more effort to meet each other halfway. I truly truly love to see it. I would love to see how their bond and friendship pans out as adults and as they matured together. I hope it continues to be nourished and to grow even stronger.

I hope this all makes sense and I explained what I meant well here and that this helps. The parts of the conversation they shared and their words about it were meaningful and vulnerable and should be listened to. This was them rebuilding a bit of a lost connection and expressing the want to be closer again. It wasn't saying they weren't close at all or weren't friends. They are. It was addressing the want to be closer like they used to be again, except better, as matured adults who love and care about each other, who want to be able to support and love each other to their greatest capabilities. And I'm glad they are working on that. But it also should prove the total and complete lack of romantic implications in their relationship. Boyfriends wouldn't have needed a third party to set up and trick the other into a date night or have a conversation about how they can't have heart to hearts and want to work on that. Their ability to address the situation and how much they have actually worked on that, is so admirable. I truly do love the bond they share. In Festa this year, JK even called Tae "Chingu" meaning "Friend" which is a complete drop of honorifics and really showing how far they have come in working on their intimacy together and how close they are now compared to just a year before that. It really does make me happy for them. I hope it continues and we get to see even more sweetness and love.

After a lot of consideration, I’ve decided to turn off anonymous asks. I know it’s extra trouble and probably not worth the trouble but for my sanity and safety, I’ve decided to turn it off. If there’s anything curious cat taught me, word filters aren’t enough, I need to be able to block certain users/trolls.

I've been informed about my broken curious cat and seems like the entire site is down. Curious cat itself isn't working, not just mine. I don't know if it'll get fixed. If it's getting fixed, when it'll be up or if it's not, then the platform is forever gone.

What’s going on with JK interjecting himself into everything v does? I hate the narrative of Jk being jealous. However you could see this coming to a head with JM. jm looked done during a recent clip of them in green. He kept looking at TK and V arm around Jk and tonight’s muster Vmin had a moment and jk grabbed v. Taejin moment and jk grabs v. Vmin moment jk pours water on JM. Then JM separates TK. I’m starting to feel bad for JM, cause Now he’s being branded jealous. Tae has to see JM hurt.

Usually we ignore asks like this because this constant need for drama and making yourself worry due to things that are not really there is just too much on every level and the only real answer that comes to my head is a single word: No.

But, you know what, here are some of our thoughts beyond that single word, even if it all still boils down to it anyway:

Bangtan are a seven member band and MUSTER is the celebration of them all, their 8th anniversary and a show to entertain us and to give them what they are so dearly missing even if only in an ontact version. They aren't paid actors playing a script, and concerts/MUSTER isn't an episode of some TV show with the question of will they or won't get get together or will the jealous secondary character get in the way of their love once more. JK isn’t jealous and he also doesn’t “ruin” moments, the way some claim (you know who I mean), nor does he try to pull Tae away from members or display some kind of possessiveness over any of them in any manner. 

Why do you insist on basically character-assassinating JK over and over again when we know he isn’t that kind of person based on everything we know about him and have seen of him and his interactions with the members and people around them?

In the past JK said he is basically like an amalgamation of all the members along with parts of himself, that he loves his members dearly and that they all take good care of him (BTSxGame Caterers). Just yesterday for FESTA did JK say that Tae is his friend and Jimin said JK is his younger brother/dongsaeng. Why, instead, can’t we be happy seeing JK and Tae interact again so freely and happily like they used to years ago before their awkwardness arose (according to them)? Why, instead, must you come into our asks and twist the situation into something it isn’t?

How many times do we have to turn around and around and around and think of this question and narrative just phrased differently until we finally stop? Until we can finally lay to rest the evil JK trying to destroy vmin narrative or the weird notion that somehow Tae, Jimin and JK have been living in the worlds most convoluted, unrealistic and dramatic love triangle for the last ten years? These things only happen in teen dramas but not in real life. This isn’t Vampire Diaries Bangtan Edition where at the end of season eight basically every character had a thing with every character or whatever.

Vmin are something special and their closeness and the love they have for each other has no relation to JK, or any of the other members, nor do their interactions with JK, or any other members, change that fact in any way. We’ve seen so many cute and fun interactions today, and just like all the other vminnies and OT7s, we are now going back to enjoying those instead. ByeBye.

Another Ta*j*nist, hello, only the second time we’ve had one of you come to us. Since I can’t add the video, here is a description of what it shows: Namjoon, Seokjin, Hobi and Tae walk toward two of the Chicken Noodle Soup cars for the next performance. Hobi gets into the first car, Namjoon in the one behind it, Tae without much thought gets into the first one while Seokjin approaches the second car, communicates something with Namjoon who gets out of the car and swaps places with Tae.

The ultimate proof of Ta*j*n being real, is that it, since that’s what the tweet claims? None of this goes against my/the “Namjin agenda”, since there is no agenda to begin with, and everything this moment tells me is that there was a plan for who was supposed to go with who but either Namjoon or Hobi made an error and Seokjin/Tae fixed it. Just like Jimin and JK automatically stayed behind and Yoongi walked toward the third car. Do you really believe that with an expensive and extensive production such as MUSTER something even as “trivial” as who will go into which car with who isn’t planned and discussed in advance? Can you imagine what chaos would take over the stage if everyone would do what they want? And no, this isn’t be “explaining away” “””evidence”””, it’s me being rational when faced with nonsense. Sorry. I usually try to be friendly, nice, but this is ridiculous. 

Also are you really naive enough to believe that moments such as this one, or what the first anon described, on stage can challenge these bonds built and nurtured for nearly a decade? That something as trivial as this (this being the moment anon talked about, not the bond Tae and Seokjin have) is somehow stronger “”proof”” than everything we have of the last eight years? Is this some kind of joke? Are we just being pranked?

EDIT: Since some people love twisting words in my mouth--the anon and the video/profile that the video for this moment came from was a shipper, so if I “trivialized” or downplayed something, then it wasn’t Tae and Seokjin as friends and how much they love each other in that way, there is no doubt about that in my mind even for a second, I merely wanted to show that such a small moment of them taking a car together isn’t “””proof””” enough to discredit both vmin (and everything we have about them that leads us to believe what we believe) and namjin (same case) and “crown” ta*j*n (in a romantic sense) as winners or whatever. Tae and Seokjin are wonderful together and one of my favorite duos (my bias wreckers even) so don’t even try to come for me for trivializing them or downplaying their bond, since I didn’t, just because I basically said I don’t ship them nor see any potential/”proof” for their supposed romance in that moment (or any other one).

What is it with people that instead of focusing on how fun the show was, how much the members enjoyed it, and how lucky we are to see them on stage again, people just focus on either negativity or trying to create ways to have their gotcha moments against other shippers? Aren’t you tired? Are you really ARMY at all?

Just like everyone else we want to enjoy MUSTER and celebrate how fun these two concerts were, so these asks? Any new ones coming in will simply be deleted if they are equally as nonsensical. If you want drama, find someone else who is as into it as you are because we are not.

Okay, so I am gonna rant and I want you to add your two cents, if you don't mind. Correct me if I am wrong in any way.

Recently, I saw something on the flaming pile of shit that is Twitter and it made me think for a bit. It was about skinship in Kpop, in general. And how BTS aren't really that big in it. And because that is what fans use to determine how close members are that is why JK and JM are considered to not be close or that JK is uncomfortable with JM. Because they use skinship to determine how close the members are. Nothing else. And because other companies are big in showing off skinship/fanservice of their members, that KM aren't that special because they don't show a lot of skinship. Apparently, closeness is determined by skinship. And skinship does matter because the fans use it to determine who is closest. Sorry, hope that summary made sense. Now begins the rant.

I just really can't anymore. People blow my mind. If ALL you can see of KM is their apparent lack of skinship compared to other groups and the other ships in BTS, then why are you here? You say skinship matters, then why and how does it matter when all the boys do it? We say skinship doesn't matter for that EXACT reason. Yes, it may matter to the other companies because it sells, but I don't think BH as a company focuses on that skinship/fanservice to provide a lot of profit. It's a nice side thing to see when watching the boys accomplish their dreams. And these boys have a LOT more freedom when doing things at BH compared to these other groups. Their companies profit off of/depend on the skinship moments between their members. Do we need skinship to determine how close the boys all are and how KM have grown closer over time? HELL NO!

I didn't say it before, but the Twitter post went further to state that ARMYs think that another ship is closer because the amount of skinship moments. Great for them! But did they ever think to wonder how suspicious it is that JK is ever so cautious when interacting with JM? He does not EVER do that with the other members, in my opinion. He looks like he is controlling what he is doing and for what reason?! Furthermore, when we do take a skinship moment into consideration, we take context, tension, and consistency into consideration, as well. Not everything means something, but I can list one that stood out to me. Rosebowl. I have never seen JK suck another members ear into his mouth to do whatever he wanted to do to JM. I don't think we will ever see him do it with another member in that context with that tension. If that doesn't scream closeness, then I don't know what does. I wouldn't put another member's sweaty ear in my mouth, especially if I was a very clean person. Unless, I was extremely close to them and I needed to prove/do something.

So, yeah, we don't use skinship that much or consider it a big deal because other people use it to determine closeness.

However, what we do use is other moments that are not related in any way to skinship.

How about spending so much time together that staff rarely saw them apart when passing by? Oh, I guess that doesn't shout closeness to you. It depends on skinship, doesn't it?

How about taking time to fly from Paris to Korea to spend a birthday and give gifts to someone? Taking time to get a cake and making a video telling them they would get drinks later, just to show up? Only one other member showed up and the other members were doing other things. Oh, but I guess that doesn't count again. Darn it!

Oh! How about being together at 4 AM on another birthday? And how big of a deal it was to them to share it with us? When it literally was not needed information at the time? JK grinning at JM when he finally spilled the beans was very sweet. But, oh gosh darn it! That won't work either, will it?

Ah! What about how consistent JK is with dropping honorifics with JM and speaking informally with JM (I can't really remember, but I think it is a mix between informal and formal speech? Correct me if I am wrong.)? He did a lot of this before he did it with the others. Of course, since they are all close, he does it now. But I do remember him saying that he wasn't comfortable with doing that before somewhere? So, why did he feel and why does he feel comfortable enough to do it with JM? And why did and why does JM let him get away with it? But I guess that was another flop since skinship was not a part of it. Sigh.

How about the GCFs? Tokyo was basically a love letter if you were willing to listen. JM seems to be his main muse if you look at all of them. But, ah! I guess everyone goes on trips with one person they aren't that close with or uncomfortable with. So, that's another bust, huh!

How about having inside jokes that the other members aren't privy to? The volleyball RUN episode and that recent behind the scene where KM were signing a song some online gamer sung (I think it was PUBG, but I don't know. I do know the person was streaming during it though.). That shows that they have there own jokes and that should show some closeness, right? Still, it doesn't have skinship, so I guess that is another one down the drain.

Ooo! How about JK's tattoo? This one is kinda obvious if you are just looking at it from an unbiased point of view! That one does it right? Ah, but I am wrong again, aren't I?

I could go on and on about the things that KM have done and will do that aren't related at all to skinship. Skinship doesn't show closeness. Never will. So, why shouldn't we make these moments bigger in our community and not consider a lot of skinship moments or the apparent lack of them? Why should we take into consideration that others think that another duo is closer due to skinship and that skinship matters more than anything? Why do these moments never get taken into consideration?

Maybe they are blind or just plain willfully ignorant of BTS, KM, and the relationships in it (and to be frank. I really don't take other kpop groups into consideration. I feel as if BTS are another level in how they show themselves, how they interact, and how much freedom they have. No other group I have seen has that much freedom. Tell me if I am wrong please.) I am not and never will be. I will not let others try to stomp on my opinions and these moments because they feel as if it doesn't show closeness due to their apparent lack of skinship. Sure. See it that way. I don't.

Skinship not big in BTS? Are they f**king blind?

I think they are a bit muddled up between skinship and fanservice. Two totally different though intertwined subjects.

Here is where I don't agree with something you said anon, because Skinship is about showing affection. BTS practice skinship showing their affection to each other. With Jikook, being as close as they are (time spent together, them literally telling us in not so many words what they mean to each other) the sus part is how careful they are when it comes to skinship. I, like you, feel it's more about JK's fear to lose control of the situation. Skinship when there is friendship and affection is not the same when there is sexual tension in the mix (re BV4 and JK's need to cover up after just a little of footsies with JM). Not every touch causes a reaction. But when you are in love with someone, when you are attracted to someone, their touch can reek havoc.

That was skinship - an acceptable way to show affection within SK culture.

Fanservice is about selling a product to the fans.

Is skinship utilized by other companies to sell their products? Oh yes it is. Does BH utilize skinship to sell BTS? Not as such, in my opinion. It’s not that BH hasn’t used fanservice over the years (JM or JK lifting their shirts during songs, kissing games – in the past) but they never had the members touch each other or pretend to show affection towards each other to sell the band. When members do skinship, it’s them doing their own thing, them showing affection and closeness with each other.

BTS are the epitome of skinship. They take it even farther than other k-pop bands. What BTS are not big at is fanservice. Yes, they do it at times, but it’s not on the level we see in other K-pop bands. Just lately I have started to see a bit of other K-pop bands, the things they go through on stage or in gameshows, the things they do as fanservice. BTS are not there at all.

Yes, they do engage in fanservice, but it’s usually them at a heightened state of excitement doing their thing but knowing just how much the fans love it. Jikook interactions on stage, Taejin interactions, at times could be considered fanservice although it’s not fake interaction. It’s them enjoying themselves and each other in front of their fans.

As for your description what makes Jikook, you are 100% right anon. Take the skinship out of the equation all together. We don't need skinship to see just how close Jikook are.

5 works I'm most proud of:

Bewitched Fools - To parallel this with AaaPT, I think Namjoon best fits the Darcy type look if given the proper perception. I’m no Austen by a long shot, but I just couldn’t get it out of my head that how awesome it would be if we explored Darcy and Lizzie when they couldn’t escape each other and were already bound to each other. I’m proud of the characters and am excited for the story.

Bed Bereft Epilogue - I am proud of this work mostly because it is my first exploration of a Polyamorous relationship. When I wrote the original Bed Bereft, I was worried if I showed the relationship between OG relationship (Tae and Jin) properly. I wanted to show them really established before I broached it with MC. The amount of love it got told me I was successful but I couldn’t just leave them with sex and let it be. So this sequel was in the works. And there were some time differences before I finalized it during the middle of TaeJin’s bday. And here it is!

Angel Atop A Prickly Tree - Another fic based on Pride and Prejudice but this time a Hallmark movie. Tbvvh, I wasn’t very much taken by the Lizzie of the movie and felt she could’ve had more substance to her. The Darcy however, came through a bit soft yes, but I could work with that. I ADORE this Hoseok, mainly because the image we have of J-Hope is so different than what I pictured for the Jung Hoseok I wanted. However, in the end when I read the finished project, well, it turned out a much better mingle than I had originally thought possible.

Burn With You - Namjoon again. I am proud of this one for a lot of reasons. It’s another one of attempts at telling something like a fairytale but with adult annotations yk. And BY GOD am I in love with this Namjoon. I had plans to make him darker but sadly, it didn’t happen and I am glad for it. For one, a darker Namjoon would take away from the Princess and no way in hell am I making her less for anything. Shiva the Tiger came to me in a dream and all in all, I am pretty feeling awesome about the end result.

Belladonna - I am proud of this one because it is an attempt that I had been suggested by a therapist ages ago but could only bring myself to comply now. The fic narrates a difficult time for me and I write it only when I am in the mindset to deal or cope with that arena of my life. However, the fic does contain more positive and wish fulfilment than real life and somehow I am not bitter about that. I guess that signifies growth?

3 biggest improvements

For one I’d say I am not as scared of original fiction than I was before. I submitted new pieces and it all started through fanfics, I am so proud and glad I found this community.

Secondly, I think I find it easier to explore and delve into aspects of my life by dipping my toes in it through writing.

Thirdly, It’s slow but many of my writing has become healing. I mean, it’s perceptible enough to be commented on so!
