I know I know a movie can only be so long and it's supposed to tell it's own, self-contained story not be a literal adaptation of Pillars word for word but stilll..... I would've loved to see more of the religious aspect of the book in the movie. There's the Islamic call to prayer and the reading aloud of the Koran in Faisal's tent but the conflict in Lawrence as a sedentary, white English Christian pertaining to be leading nomadic, Bedouin Muslims is really devoid of the religious aspect in the movie and while it's understandable (inflammatory as that could be as a baseline the overt Messianic imagery already apparent in the film could perhaps then be seen to be in poor taste. Which, boo) it's regrettable. Insofar as the movie we got is still nothing short of perfect.

I mean, I AGREE bc it would be nice to Actually have an income. But idk if it’s a cultural thing but in Brazil, tattoo apprentices get treated p much like trash. I’m lucky my tattoo parlor has decent people who are giving me drawing classes, let me see them tattoo and answer every question I have…

So, basically, it’s normal in Brazil for tattoo artists to only get money tattooing, and being an apprentice, I can’t tattoo yet. But I’m learning a lot on the drawing classes, it made my art block go *poof* like it never even existed wtf

finally finished beginnings/year 1 in awl so i wanted to share a few more screenshots! gustafa's wedding event was so cute... now, he and tris have a baby girl named bea. first day of year 2 was a lil rough with the new years event and all, but i'm still excited to see more!

quick hc : i went with "sweetpea" for tris's nickname since i thought it'd be cute, but i imagine gustafa using a few different petnames for them ( like some hungarian terms of endearment like édesem/honey and kedvesem/my darling. ) he'd also call bea his "honey bee." 😊✨️
