For the fusion designing thing by @taffyandstevenuniverse

I gave him 4 arms because Taffy is his own person now, and I didn’t really want to do 3 arms. I always assumed Taffy’s weapon was a trident and he uses it like a fork and stuff and decided that Steven’s shield plus Taffy’s Trident would be a top like Smokey’s YoYo. I made the bracelets into necklaces and put their first initials on Steven and Taffy’s fusion. The ‘white’ part of the eyes aren’t white, they’re both different shades of white (one with a pink tinge and the other with a more yellow-orange tinge) honestly can’t think of anything else. This story has been stressing me out. There were only two updates left. But next Tuesday, I needed to make 4 reference sheets for characters before I could even start the illustration. Then 3 more by the next Tuesday. So, here’s what I’m going to do. On Tuesday, I'll release the rest of the written story. Then, I’ll do references over time, instead of being rushed to do them. It’ll be mostly asks/references over on the tumblr blog from then on (then uploading them to Tapas/Deviantart as well.) I didn’t have much more written of the story anyway and I’ve slowly been moving on from Steven Universe. (Taffy AU will still continue, btw.) Thank you for understanding, and see you Tuesday!

No joke as soon as I saw the post, I started sketching and planning :00 @taffyandstevenuniverse

I am so bad at coming up with weapons and names so both can be changed lol. I couldn’t really think of what to change about the weapon, and somehow I feel like Taffy wouldn’t even have a weapon (or at least an offensive weapon)? Like, he’s just too fluff if that makes sense lol. So I changed the design on it as if Taffy still had an influence on it :0

I also tried to keep in mind that when Steven fuses, his clothes are still there, so his shirt is on top of the sweater but under the vest, his jacket is tied around their neck, they just have the jeans, and (as with basically all steven fusions) his sandals were too small lol. Taffy kind of just has a form, so some of his clothes can be omitted.

Personality: just a bubbly boyo who loves soft and fluffy things and is happy to be himself/themself (couldn’t decide the pronouns :P)

Idk if any of this works but I hope you like it! He was super fun to design!!

Steven wakes up in an alternate universe where the gems are instead candy! He learns that his au counterpart is the bearer of the pink chocolate bar and that the crystal gems are instead the chewy candies.

In the au

Pearl is a salt water taffy that belonged to the pink chocolate.

Garnet is a candy melt between a blue gum and red liquorice, she goes by the name of Sour belt.

Amethyst is a rock crystal

NOTE: This Steven is not the current/canon one (who forgave the Diamonds, commited murder and transformed into a monster), but rather an Alternative Universe Steven where he becomes Nora (I'll canonize the trans headcanons, since Crewniverse is a whole bunch of COWARDS™), and is taken by the WBMR before she could decide the Diamonds' fate.

Plus, I'm tagging @berrikingblu, because Steven Universe meant a lot to him (even though it was a fucking trainwreck...)

Nora Sugar Callison is now Rose Paladin Nora, Assigned Gemstone is Red Beryl, Essence is Earth (Crystals)/Light;

Her new surnames are a reference to the series' creator (Rebecca SUGAR), and the titular character's VA (Zach CALLISON);

When she first arrived to Wondaria, she was quickly taken for a emergency operation (in this AU, White Diamond removes her gemstone... and said gemstone was later shattered);

She is given a special type of core to help her keep herself together (imagine something similar to Tony Stark's heart core!);

Due to the weakness caused by the removal of her gemstone, she is now a wheelchair user (she can still walk, but only short distances; like a chronically ill person);

All of her gem powers were lost after the shattering of her gemstone, so she trains to develop her own new brand of magic;

Her mascot/familiar is a pink lioness named Ursula. Her most evident feature is the star-shaped spot on her chest, and she's fiercely protective and loyal towards her owner;

She is adopted by Spinel and Pink Pearl (now renamed as Taffy because Volleyball is a dumb name), and lives with them in the newly formed kingdom of Geodia;

Her Assigned Gemstone is a Red Beryl instead of a Rose Quartz. That happens because of two things: 1) Rose Quartz was a fake bitch, and 2) As a reference to the fusion between her new sisters/guardians;

Her therapeutic hobby is gardening, and she names her plants and flowers after the people she befriends.

Well... I'm happy that this cartoon is finally over. I wish I could say otherwise, but... the narrative choices that were made... are just unforgivable!
